Reached out to them via Yelp and they responded the same day and came out to my home the same day to provide an estimate. They sent the estimate to us the same evening. The estimate was very detailed as to what they would be doing and very reasonable with the cost. We shopped around for about a week and scheduled other estimates, some companies no called no showed and never reached out after. I messaged Absolute on Tuesday 5/3 and they came out and completed the job today, Thursday 5/5. We bought a circa 1911 home in the Roosevelt historic district. It was infested with woodpeckers, nested starlings in the walls and a haven for pigeons due to the craftsman design of the home.....many nooks and crannies. Years of pigeon poop on the roof and woodpecker destruction to the wood shingles needed replacing. After 6mo of renovation, we had to protect our investment, so after doing our research called Keaton with Absolute! He's been diligent with these crafty bastards and although has had to make several trips to rid our home of these pests, he's never complained. I was having problems with pigeons nesting under my solar panels to the point my courtyard and pool deck would get littered with bird feces. Travis and Johnny came to my home about an hour after agreeing to have services performed. The two of them cleaned up the poop and nests on my roof and underneath my solar panels then added PVC mesh around the panels and alcoves to stop the birds from returning to their "home". I kept realistic expectations that these flying pests would not be completely eliminated right away and knew that they will continue to try to gain access to their nests. I was able to immediately notice a difference the next day as I wasn't woken up by sounds of cooing birds and no feces on my property. I don't know why I waited so long to have this service completed. It feels great to be able to enjoy my yard again without having to sweep and vacuum beforehand. We had a friend as well as our HOA try to put up netting but it didn't work. Wow! Just wow!!!! They got rid of our nasty winged rats from under the solar panels!!! They spent about 2.5 hours just cleaning the feces and nests. No more details needed there. Then put up their product to keep them off! It took about a week for the winged rats to finally leave the rooftop, but they are GONE! We had a really bad pigeon problem when we moved in. The previous owners let families of pigeons live under the solar panels for what I can think of years. Travis came over and power washed and placed netting on the solar panels so they couldn't nest under them. After we did that, we realized how much worse our problem was now they didn't have anywhere to hide. We started setting traps to catch them. He did a bird trap service for about a month and caught over 10 birds. He also placed a wire on the top of the roof and where they seem to like to hang out. The wire is more discrete than spikes and it worked!! It took a while but we are no longer the pigeon house of the neighborhood!! read more
