I agree with most of these reviews. And if I could give 0 stars I would, as this company does not care about happy customers they only care about your money. Technicians are honestly good but office staff are terrible and agree with the fact that they always hide behind "Racheal". And this Racheal does not care about you at all, Unless she is able to help me now I will stand by this statement til some actions are taken to prove this statement wrong. I asked them to cancel and there's this $250 cancellation fee. Why should I have to pay to not receive a service? Im not asking for refund or anything why am i paying for a service I am not receiving and would like to cancel? I have only received service twice and I am not asking for a refund. (They charged me 3 times though for 2 services. Then they charged me another $69 for some reason and told me to pay however I did not receive that service so why would I have to pay? Office staff and customer service lines are terrible. Sales person is also 100% deceiving. I'm pretty sure if all these people they talk too were told about a year contract and how you can't cancel whenever and you have to pay them $250 I know for a FACT they will not be signing up. Was not home when they came. This is what I came home too. Claiming eco-friendly but I have serious questions.... White residue left around the house. Glue traps used 8 found in my garage and immediately found a small lizard in one when I got home. Totally inhumane and glue traps should be banned, I was thankfully able to unglue lizard after completing losing my sh*t. Receipt is saying i requested things I did not and Explicitly said not to do because of wildlife. All to say I will be terminating service tomorrow and will never be using them again. Finally cancelled there service due to the last 4 times they came out they texted and said they couldnt do the back yard because my gate had a lock on it. I called them and reminded them where my lock box was and that they have the code on my account. How hard is it to make sure your techs have those codes. read more

Unfortunately, I tried to give them a chance and switched from an amazing company. I regretted it within 48 hours. Horrible communication paired with entitlement is insane. they breached contract by not showing during the initially scheduled time and thought I was supposed to drop everything to go home. Then, no one showed up for their termite treatment that was supposed to happen a couple of days later. To make it worse, they lied about providing the service. Our gates and garage are not accessible due to the number of dogs we have. There is not even a possibility of them getting past the side gat to do any aspect of the service. They are essentially scamming me out of over $600.00 after not ever completing a service and have begun making threats. At this point, I'm going to let it play out legally and have ceased all contact. Seriously, beware. I started service with them earlier this year, the service was mediocre, I always had bugs and could never really get rid of them, I'd give them a chance to do a better job with actual pest control, but not possible now. Now, our landlord is selling the home and so we can't renew our lease so we have to move, even though it's not our choice and the way we have to move in such short notice, green leaf still wants me to pay the 395$ cancelation fee, they took off $95 but thinking that really helps, is absurd. If I could keep the service or move the service I would but I cannot and it's not our decision. So I don't understand why this can't be an exception to the rule to waive the fee or just pay this last month but instead they are choosing to charge this outrageous fee that right now, Noone can afford. So thank you for really caring about your clients (sarcasm). You could survive without this ridiculous fee but you choose to hassle me for it while I have to find a new place to live for my family. Feel free to use them for pests as I have not had issues with this service in 2 years. Do not use them for weeds. I had one gentleman come out and he sprayed my weeds and nothing happened in 2 weeks. I called back and they had another guy come out. To be clear, I walked both gentlemen to my back yard and showed them where I wanted them to spray. They saw weeds in my grass and decided to spray all over my yard. My grass is ruined thanks to them. This will cost me most likely hundreds of dollars to repair and all I got was a "Hey sorry we will cancel the service." No refund, no offer to repair the damage they did. Honestly just do not go with them for weeds. After walking them into the back and showing them where to spray, they have no excuse for what they did. Now I have to wait until middle of summer and HOPE the grass comes back if not I have to resod my yard. This is just shit customer service. You damaged something, you should offer to fix it or at the very least not charge the person and refund their money. read more

Deceptive marketing! $250 cancelation fee!! The salesmen will tell you there's no penalty for canceling service-- this is a lie. I ONLY hired them because I was assured I could cancel. I had just moved in, I'm alone with small children, I had pests, but unfortunately hadn't taken the time to do my homework on who to hire. HUGE regret. I had them out twice in a 2 week period, and never saw a difference in pests. The problem just continued getting worse (as in black widows in my garage, crickets inside the house, ants, etc). When I called to ask for emergent help, they couldn't get anyone out here until the weekend, 3-4 days away. So, I hired someone else and proceeded to cancel my contract with Greenleaf. That's when they informed me of the fee, saying I should've been aware because it was in an email (that I never received). They argued that I have to give them the opportunity to make it right and offered to have someone out sooner. At this point I was completely off-put by their business, and declined. In mid-June, a salesperson came to my home (new development) despite a clearly posted no-solicitation sign. He rang the doorbell and knocked repeatedly while I was working from home. To get him to leave, I agreed to try the $1 one-month service he offered. I authorized only that trial month. They serviced my home only once inside and only twice total, yet they attempted to bill me for six months of service I did not authorize. When I disputed the charges, they told me the "early cancellation" fee would be $250--despite the fact that I never agreed to an ongoing contract. My interaction with Ashley in customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. There was no effort to problem-solve or resolve the dispute. I would not recommend Greenleaf Pest Control, especially to residents in new developments. The customer service lady deals with these types of situations all day so she was already super defensive and condescending. She said it would be a $250 cancellation fee on top of the $61.. FYI, the reviews on Google are fake. When you scroll past all of the fake reviews, you will see all of the 1 star reviews that are similar to what reviews you find on Yelp.. After the first service we had, Still found live insects (Scorpions & Spiders) around the house. I've read other reviews of the salesman targeting elderly people and being deceiving. This company has spent the last several days harassing households in our neighborhood (a post in our neighborhood group on FB had over 110 responses related to this company's activities in our community). They ignore no solicitation signs, use high pressure sales tactics, refuse to take no for an answer, get combative and rude with homeowners who *repeatedly* say no thank you. I was specifically visited by someone who identified himself as "Devin" on a small scooter. He stated he represented Greenleaf and had signed up "a boat load" of my neighbors, to which I thanked him and politely said not interested. He went on about how he could save me money and wouldn't it be great to support a local business (he hadn't asked who we used nor what we paid, so not sure how he could have made this statement). I told him that I was happy with my current provider and wasn't interested in making a change. After about my fourth no thank you, I explained I needed to get back to work, he rolled his eyes and then said "well I guess you're just not smart enough to see how much money I can save you." Not sure why he chose to insult me as his next sales tactic, because as you can imagine, I wasn't impressed nor suddenly swayed to sign up with him. At this point, I explained that I had been patient and polite, and had told him *no* at least four times, that our conversation was over and that he needed to leave my property immediately. I then closed the door in his face. He jumped on his scooter and moved on down the street. Devin has visited several of my neighbors over the past several days and those I talked to mentioned very similar experiences - high pressure sales tactics, *repeatedly* refused to take no for an answer, and became rude and disrespectful. This is due to the fact that they never come on the same day same time so I never know when to be home. And when they do tell you they are coming they don't show up when they are supposed to. I've tried endlessly to get out my contract but they won't let me they rather credit me $125 then like me cancel for free. By the way the cancellation fee is $250. Make it make sense.
