Glad i did. The owner was a nice man who was present and engaging with customers and the employees. I went on a Tuesday for my birthday and i was surprised how busy they were for being a Tuesday early afternoon! The shop was clean and well lit and I didn't see if they had wifi connection but you had good signal nonetheless. There were TVs but they weren't on but they had music on and it wasn't over powering. I liked there was plenty of parking too! They didn't have much selection for colors so maybe bring your own if you have your heart set on a certain color especially if it's an obscure one. I didn't do my hands (only because I don't ever do my hands) The pedicure chair was comfy and roomy and my pedicure was great! They accept cards as payments, but please bring cash for a tip! I'm definitely going back. And wear your Mexico jersey for a discount! (I only grabbed two pictures!) ETA I took off a star for lack of color choices and it was pretty warm in there. Instead of aggressively drilling down or yanking my old set off, he removed them with so much care, which I really appreciated. He gave me the exact shape I asked for, and although my design was simple, the execution was flawless. The quality of his work speaks for itself. Safe to say, I've found my new nail tech and will be leaving my old salon behind. I can't wait to come back!

What upset me the most was how my concerns were handled. When I told Annie that I wasn't happy with how my nails turned out, instead of trying to fix the issue or offering any solution, she told me there was nothing she could do. She came across as rude, had an attitude, and made me feel like my concerns didn't matter. As a paying customer, I expected at least an effort to address the problem, not to be dismissed. Customer service is just as important as the quality of the work, and unfortunately, this experience fell short on both. I left feeling disappointed and won't be returning.

What she got was a very mediocre version of the requested nail design, yet the fee was $130. After going home and thinking about what happened, she called the place and asked to speak to a manager. She was hung up on and then they refused to answer her calls. She went in person and was yelled at and they threatened to call the police if she didn't leave. We always try to support our Downey businesses but a young girl (anyone, really) should not be treated this way. If you can't do the job, say so. If there's a concern from your customers, you should listen and try to address the issue. Gave it 2 stars so it's not deleted but that quality of workmanship and customer service does not deserve 2 stars. Do better.
