But Debbie took her time when working with me, after filing my nails down she asked if I liked the shape of them which not a lot of nail salons do. I appreciated the time she took to file them, shape them and work on them overall. I like that she took her time to make sure I was happy with them. It was very clean and calm inside. There isn't too much parking due to the fact that it is located in a busy plaza so just be mindful when booking and come a couple minutes earlier than your scheduled time.

I can get past a few minutes past my appt time but both times they went past about an hour. Both times I had to walk out without being taken care of. However, I repeatedly witnessed the way other customers were spoken to and treated, which ultimately made me decide to take my business elsewhere. Yesterday, I decided to give them one last chance, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed why I had stopped coming. I walked in without an appointment, and the salon was essentially empty. I understood there was one customer being serviced, so I expected there might be a wait. I asked Vivian if I could get a Gel-X set and a pedicure. After talking amongst themselves, I was told there would be about an hour wait. I said that was completely fine and that I would come back. I noticed they closed at 7 PM, and they told me to come back around 6:30 PM. Because I have personally experienced being rushed when getting services close to closing time, I politely asked, "Are you sure that's a good time? I don't want you to feel rushed, and I don't want to feel rushed either." Instead of simply reassuring me or suggesting another time, Nancy responded, "Well, don't come then." That comment was completely unnecessary and, honestly, was the final straw for me. I simply walked out. A few minutes later, I called Vivian, who I believe is the owner, to explain how rude and disrespectful. I told her that the comment was unnecessary and she stayed quiet. What makes this especially disappointing is that this place used to be so nice and welcoming. I remember when the staff genuinely seemed to care about their customers. Unfortunately, based on my past experiences, what I have witnessed with other customers, and the recent experience, it feels like customer service is no longer a priority. These were supposed to be my birthday nails, which made the experience even more disappointing. I used to come here for my birthday every year, so it honestly meant something to me to continue that tradition. But after yesterday, I know I won't be returning. I ended up going to a new place in Pico Rivera called Glossie Nail Spa. I explained what I wanted, they welcomed me as a walk-in, offered me a margarita, and walked me through the entire process. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely made me feel like a valued customer. I will definitely be taking my business there moving forward. I don't normally leave negative reviews, especially for a business I supported for so many years, but loyalty should go both ways. After being a customer since 2019, I expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience this time.

An older man whose name I do not remember, and a young woman named Vi (or Lv, I'm not sure of the spelling), worked on me that day. The quality of service was very poor compared to my previous visits. I told the older man not to cut into my real nails, but he still worked very roughly and carelessly. They cut my foot during the pedicure, and my hand became red after the manicure. My hand is still red now and very painful. I am very unhappy because I trusted this salon for a long time, but this experience was careless and unacceptable. I hope the owner improves hygiene, technique, and customer care so this does not happen to anyone else.
