The first time was at her beauty school downtown and her directions are impeccable. She made sure I was ok getting to her and very hospitable. Be sure to have a photo inspiration before visiting - her beautiful art is included! Even stickers and rhinestones! I was so happy with my first visit - a GelX set in time for Valentine's Day. It got a lot of compliments! My second visit was a little last minute after a GELX nail popped off! Dayana squeezed me in last minute and I went to her studio in Boyle Heights. She made sure I had access and a parking spot - so thoughtful! And a bottle of water for me (far beyond any salon I've been to)! The result was a gorgeous, modern twist in a French tip! Yay! An older man whose name I do not remember, and a young woman named Vi (or Lv, I'm not sure of the spelling), worked on me that day. The quality of service was very poor compared to my previous visits. I told the older man not to cut into my real nails, but he still worked very roughly and carelessly. They cut my foot during the pedicure, and my hand became red after the manicure. My hand is still red now and very painful. I am very unhappy because I trusted this salon for a long time, but this experience was careless and unacceptable. I hope the owner improves hygiene, technique, and customer care so this does not happen to anyone else.
