We had an early appointment, and from the moment we walked in, Tony greeted us and welcomed us with such genuine warmth and enthusiasm. You could tell it wasn't just the typical customer-service greeting--he genuinely seemed happy to have us there, and that immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. The salon itself is super cute, trendy, EXTREMELY clean, and everyone was so friendly. They even offer complimentary drinks, which was such a nice touch. My daughter ended up having Tony, and I absolutely LOVED him! He gave total "funcle" (fun uncle ) vibes. He was so sweet and gentle with her, kept checking in to make sure she was comfortable, and never rushed her. He took his time and did such an amazing job. As a mom, I really appreciated how kind and attentive he was with her. She got the full little spa experience and loved every minute of it. Myla did my hands and GIRLLLLL... I don't think I've ever had a nail tech be so precise and take her time the way she did. She was incredibly friendly, sweet, and detailed. And that hand massage at the end?! I could have fallen asleep right there. It was THAT relaxing. Su did my pedicure and was just as wonderful--very gentle, kind, and thorough. She took her time and really added to the whole experience. What I loved most was that I never felt rushed. Everyone made us feel comfortable and welcome, and it turned what could've just been getting our nails done into such a fun mommy-daughter bonding experience. I dislike the salons that overbook and make you wait 30+ mins to start service so this was great! The salon is clean, my slight criticism would be to have better ventilation. When I walked in I was hit by the smell of nail polish fumes, it was a bit overwhelming but I got used to it after a while - beware if you are sensitive to smells. I normally come every two weeks for a basic Gel-X fill, usually just one solid color, so I'd consider myself a regular. One thing that has always annoyed me is the opening time. The hours posted online and on the windows aren't always consistent with when they actually open. Every time I've come right at opening, it's already pretty busy, so it would be nice if the hours were more accurate so customers know what to expect. This last visit was especially frustrating. I was told the wait would be around 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting closer to 45 minutes. There was one customer ahead of me who was already being pretty rude and difficult, and once it was finally my turn, the nail tech told me to take a seat. Literally seconds later, another customer's family walked in. They didn't have an appointment--they were apparently just coming in after breakfast--and they wanted to get their nails done too. Instead of letting me go since I had already been waiting and was clearly next, the nail tech allowed them to go ahead of me. The customer even said, "No, she's not next. My family wants to get their nails done too," and the staff basically went along with it. I was then told I would have to wait again, even though I had already been there for almost 45 minutes. At that point, I was so frustrated that I just left. I understand that walk-ins happen and that things can get busy, but I don't think it's fair for someone who has already been waiting to suddenly get pushed back because a group of people walked in without an appointment. It's disappointing because I genuinely liked coming here and had never had an issue before. Unfortunately, this experience really changed my opinion, and I probably won't be coming back. I just wish the staff had handled the situation differently and been fair about who was next.

My rating is strictly for gel x application and overall salon experience, not the nail design I was…read moreunsatisfied with because that is mostly on me. Came here to get short almond gel x nails with a French tip design for my wedding nails. I showed inspo pics and requested that the white not be super stark white compared to the pink. My nail tech started off with a thicker French tip to cover the natural nail peeking out under the gel tip. However that did not fit my vision so I asked for a thinner tip. She did mention that you would be able to see the natural nail under the tip and I said it was ok. I realized after I got home that the pink base coat was essentially clear and the natural nail showed in an obvious way in photos even though I thought it looked ok in person. I did not bring this up to the salon because I figured I just chose the wrong design and decided to just go somewhere else to just get a solid color all over. While getting my polish changed at the other salon, the nail tech noticed that my cuticles were completely covered in gel and had to take an extra 10-15 mins just drilling all the gel off my cuticles otherwise it wouldn't have grown out smoothly. She also fixed the nail shape because it was super pointy for almond in my opinion. My reason for my rating is because gel is not good to constantly get on skin. I did notice my original tech at moongirlnails used a brush to wipe off the gel after each tip application which I didn't love since other places I've been to have known how much gel to apply to avoid overflow. Using excess glue and going back to clean up is not good technique in my opinion. And seeing that the excess was not even fully wiped off and left on my cuticles, I cannot in good faith recommend this salon if you want to avoid developing a gel allergy.
