Gel on my nails coming off after the next day I had them done

I went to this place because it's closed by my house and the place I usually go do my nails was super busy. I went on a Friday night to get a fill, first of all it was empty that was already a bad sign, they sat me down and i decided to get a pedi ( might as well) the started working on me right away and i wasn't even there for 30 mins and they were done. My feet were fine I didn't ask for anything out of the ordinary. But hands oh lord, my nails look all think and bumpy. I loved the color tho but not the work. By Saturday ( the next day) the gel was already coming off and... and these girls still had the audacity to stretch their hand to ask for a tip. I gave them $5 each. I will for sure not be going back! I don't care how convenient it might be

Horrible service! I have been coming here for 4 years. I always get my nails done with Kathy. Unfortunately Kathy is on vacation and I had to use Holly. She is rude I asked her for a specific nail design and she completely ignores what I asked for and gives me just the base. When I asked her where the rest of the design was she said I thought this is what you asked for. By that time she had already been working extremely rude shoving my hand around. So I was just fed up and left. The lady who did my pedicure was also rude but I didn't get her name. and to top it off they had the nerve to ask for tip?!! I texted the owner and no response. At this point she has lost a monthly customer. I'm never coming here again.

I been coming here for years . I even moved to Anaheim and I drive to come to this nail salon . This will be my last visit . I requested a full set . The lady in the front desk after gluing the nail she asked how short and she about to cut them waaay to short almost like my real nail . I asked for longer and she said that's considered medium so its 5$ more . I told her I always got them they done "short " and they were that length . Pass my finger but not too long . And she kept saying that's medium . She wanted to do them longer and I told her I want them shorter . She trimmed a little to my desire and I asked if that's "short ". She said that's still consider medium . You can see in my pics . Is that a medium ??!! That's even shorter than other times I got them short . I paid the extra 5$ because Inwa sin a hurry and I cannot go to another place but I'm not coming back .

They RUINED my weekend. HORRIBLE service. I've been coming here for years I even started bringing my 3 daughters. Sadly they lost 4 customers. The lady did a bad job with my mani and pedi. I'm too embarrassed to put my Pedi pictures now I can't wear my sandals. She cut my nails so short they even hurt. To top it off they treated my 8-year-old daughter with little respect and appreciation. She is a paying customer and they skipped her 3x and didn't do her mani. I'm honestly disappointed, I asked if she can shorten the nails and she said "no"!! I have bubbles in my right thumb. I told her I wanted a light blue and she gave me a purple-ish blue color. She cut my fingers up, she made my index finger nail very fat!. She didn't even do the design right. I'm very disappointed.

Very friendly and they do an amazing job with me pedicure and nails. Highly recommend it.

Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE. I went in to remove my gel polish and to wax my eyebrows... they literally stripped/burned my skin and acted like nothing happened. No apology and I had to refuse to pay them for my brows (they still made me pay for the gel removal). I am beyond appalled at how this happened. NEVER AGAIN. EVER. DO NOT GO HERE.

Great service and prices, I love coming to Kim for my nails and Tammy for my pedicure they are so friendly and consistent with quality of the nails. My sets always last me 3-4 weeks. They also have a stamp program after 9 sets you get a discount. Recommend this nail place. read more

Good staff, but hygiene is a serious issue The technicians were friendly and did a decent job with my service. However, I was alarmed to see cockroach infestation in the salon -- this is a major hygiene and health concern. Until the owner takes proper action on pest control and cleanliness, I cannot feel safe recommending this place. It's disgusting just watching roaches crawl around. read more

Anybody know where Kathy left to? I always get my pedicures done with her because she is able to deal with any ingrown nails without hurting me or making me bleed. My review for this place is long overdue. This place is ok. I've been coming here for some time and have come to conclusion that they can't do nails here. The pedicures are coo but if you want a nice affordable set, this isn't the place. My bday was 3 days ago and they jacked my nails up and cut my finger twice and still had the nerve to charge me $50 for this weak set. I kept it cute and still tipped since they act like they automatically deserve one even when they don't do a good job or offer good customer service. My pedicures are always on point but I'm never getting my nails done here again. read more

I haven't been to this nail shop in years, and now I remember why. The customer service here is TERRIBLE! I MEAN TERRIBLE!!! The lady who sits at the front desk has a very nasty attitude. I came here to get my eyebrows done and almost got ripped off. They TRIED to charge me $10 for my eyebrows. I told her absolutely, "NOT I'm wasn't paying $10 for a wax." The lady didn't shape my eyebrows, nor did she cut/trim them down or anything. All she did was put wax on my skin. So I told the lady who sat at the front desk that I didn't receive a full service for my eyebrows she got upset with me. I told her I'm sorry, but I'm not paying for a half job. $10 is a bit excessive for a half job. I've never paid that much for eyebrows, but I don't have a problem paying if I actually got/get the full service. Overall, I don't recommend anyone coming here unless you don't care about receiving bad service and getting overcharged. It also suck because the only guy who works there is nice, but that lady who sits at the front desk is rude. These people at the nail shop need to take a class on customer service because, man, it's terrible. read more

I've been coming here for the past 7 years, this place is not what it used to be. Last 3 times I've been here they do not fully cover the nail with polish giving it an illusion of small toe nails, which look odd. The people are nice enough, but after having the longest, most backwards, EXPENSIVE pedicure in my life, I won't be back. I got the Sea Scrub pedicure ($21), an upcharge of TEN dollars for gel, the $5 callus removal, and $3 gel color removal... The callus removal was done AFTER my color was done because the nail artist did not ask to do it while my feet were initially in the water. At one point, another manicurist helped my lady because she was taking so incredible long. It took an hour and a half to get me feet done. I am so unimpressed. read more

DONT go here. Ombré nails are pretty popular. Have been for a long long time. You'd think the nail techs would be experienced in doing something nearly every girl asks for. WRONG!! My nails are a complete JOKE. I am literally so disappointed and confused. How could they leave me with nails like these? I let the person doing my nails know I wasn't liking them, he assured me they would look better once the top coat was applied. He was wrong. DO NOT come here!!!!!! I'm pretty picky when it comes to pedicures! The main reason I return to a nail salon, is when they give a good pedicure. This place is close to my daughter's school, so I tried them out. I didn't get the name of the person who did mine today, but it was pretty good. I get a lot of ingrown cuticle around my big toes, and I didn't have to tell her to get in there, and get it out. Overall good job. Not too pricey. I will definitely be back! read more

UPDATE- I came back in and a different tech redid my nails at no extra charge. This tech did a much better job. Thank you! -------------------- I highly dislike leaving bad reviews. This happened yesterday! They were done about two and a half weeks ago. This is beyond funny to me in all my adult years this has never happened where nails pop off completely in tack! I have gotten manicures from this place before never having any issues but this is crazy! So the owner reached out to me to correct the issue once I get there the lady at the front desk goes on to tell me they will redo my nails at half price but before they redo my nail (I would not pay gain) I have to remove my post on here (Yelp) lol I told her no I'll keep my post you keep your nails! Well I found this location just passing by in the area they door was open before 10am but they technically were not open just setting up but a lady by the name of Cammy asked me kinda rudely at first what I wanted and I told her two pedicures for me and my mother, she told us to give her a min and she would set up everything we waited like 7 mins as she began to run the water, soon after sitting down other workers began to show up and my mom was also serviced right away. Overall they ok. I've only gotten a pedicure so far so I can't give them a full rating but I feel they ok to come back to read more

04/02/19 I got acrylics here for a long time and never had a problem. Last week I went in for a gel mani. The girl cut me MULTIPLE TIMES when cutting my cuticles. She didn't even clean the cuts, she literally just blew on them! It's common sense you don't blow on a wound! As expected, my finger is now infected. Ok I wasn't going to give a bad review but this made me laugh and I need to share my experience. I went in two days ago a few hours after I asked this question. I went in asked for a SNS fill. The lady she directed me to stated she didn't know how to do SNS so I said I would wait. The lady who sits at the desk then comes to me and tells me they don't do fills for SNS and that no nail salon does. Funny because I'm actually allergic to acrylic so I've been getting SNS for as long as I can remember and where I used to go I've always been able to have fills done. I asked again "You're telling me you don't do SNS fill?" She stated "No" I left. Went across the street to FASHION NAILS and David did my fill and my nails look better than they ever have! I've been here to this salon a few times because of how close it is to my home but now that I've discovered FASHION NAILS I'm happy this incident happened because No 1 doesn't compare to the customer service and overall satisfaction I received at the other salon. I found this nail shop on Yelp and the reviews don't lie! Excellent service and great job on my nails. Pedicure and full set was done in one hour!! Including taking off my old set. Everyone was very nice and the prices are very affordable. I will definitely be coming here from now on. My finger nails were bleeding so I came back to get a refund and Ken insisted that I cut myself on my wallet and that it was fine after he was done. My wallet is not made of razors. I promise you I did not cut my own fingers. He basically called me a liar and when I insisted, he came up to my face and got really threatening. A couple of the ladies there held him back but when I asked for the owners contact number or his manicurist license, he would not show it and got really agressive. The receptionist was able to give me a refund after this altercation but I would never feel safe walking into an establishment where the employee thinks its okay to threaten anyone like that. It was really scary and I was by myself. Don't come here. Your money is better off with someone who won't be abusive towards customers. read more

Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

UPDATE: Tracy - obviously your technician is straight out lying. Why would I write a review criticizing the way my nails came out and complaining about the length if I "supposedly asked for them to be cut shorter." I knew what I wanted and had a picture for reference but your tech couldn't achieve the results. Clearly your tech made a mistake and doesn't want to own up to it. But go ahead and blame it on me lol it makes no difference as I will not be back to your salon. ___________________ Tonight was my first time here and I am extremely disappointed with the way my nails came out. First off, my pedicure was done in about 10 minutes. It felt extremely rushed. My main concern was my hands. I came in for a full set. I typically never do acrylics, but my nails had been breaking and were really short so I opted for it. I told my manicurist that I wanted them to look very natural and I supplied a picture of the exact shape/style I wanted. What I was given looks nothing like the photo of what I wanted. She filed them so much that they are way shorter than I wanted and they are extremely wide (which was one of the concerns I stated prior to starting was that I didn't want them to look wide) Throughout the manicure I asked her to make some changes and had her reference the picture three times because the nail shape looked pretty off. Towards the end she stated that my nails beds were too wide. She also packed on so much polish that there is a big clump at the base of my nails. Updated Review: I've been coming to this salon since high school, and while I had a disappointing experience with an employee here previously (who no longer works here), but I keep coming back because Vivian always delivers amazing service. This morning, I showed up a little early and was expecting to take any nail tech but to my suprise Vivian was there and happily took me. We came in for a group of five pedis and we loved coming here! You walk in and sign in and they will call you accordingly. The receptionist was very welcoming and attentive. I also notice that she helps A LOT around. Besides charging she made sure to help clean chairs and prep chairs. I believe by her doing this it helped the technicians immensely. Not every place I've been to has a person like this helping so much. Thanks to her time went by a lot smoother and also helped us by choosing and bringing our choice of nail polish color. Some comments can be deceiving!! I have been a regular customer for quite some time and never have I had bad experience. The receptionist is a young, beautiful individual and i would like to thank her for always doing a great job.Today as i got my service, I couldn't help but notice/hear some girl cursing and being completely rude towards her. Can I just say this is my favorite spa!! I always end up returning for many reasons. Front desk lady already knows me well, as I am a regular customer. Nice to see they consider their customers. It's always nice to walk in and can relax and converse with any of the ladies. What I am also very comfortable with is knowing the manager is bilingual so that is a huge plus because my mom also comes here on her own sometimes and she always helps my mom by translating or by helping her choose nail colors and to me me that means a lot. Came today got a lady that started my pedicure I guess someone came in asking for her she stops my…read morepedicure ,another lady comes to finish it she didn't do what the description on the pedicure list says is included In the pedicure I told her and she decided to go back and forth with me with a terrible attitude when I simply just asked why that wasn't done when it says it on the description of the pedicure list everyone acted clueless when I asked the front desk . Don't waste your money here pedicure was absolutely not worth the price either will not be coming back
