There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

Kiki is also an extraction specialist and educates you on your skincare at home. One of my favorite things about her is the sanitation. She ensures the table is clean after client and rolls out new paper for each use. I also appreciate that she doesn't double dip the stick in the wax. She uses a new stick for each application. I've seen that far too many times with others, so I greatly appreciate her attention to those details. I love her suite. She has it decorated nicely, has calming music playing and she's an overall amazing person to talk to! It's easy to schedule your appointments with her and you also receive text and email reminders that it's coming up.

UPDATE: Tracy - obviously your technician is straight out lying. Why would I write a review criticizing the way my nails came out and complaining about the length if I "supposedly asked for them to be cut shorter." I knew what I wanted and had a picture for reference but your tech couldn't achieve the results. Clearly your tech made a mistake and doesn't want to own up to it. But go ahead and blame it on me lol it makes no difference as I will not be back to your salon. ___________________ Tonight was my first time here and I am extremely disappointed with the way my nails came out. First off, my pedicure was done in about 10 minutes. It felt extremely rushed. My main concern was my hands. I came in for a full set. I typically never do acrylics, but my nails had been breaking and were really short so I opted for it. I told my manicurist that I wanted them to look very natural and I supplied a picture of the exact shape/style I wanted. What I was given looks nothing like the photo of what I wanted. She filed them so much that they are way shorter than I wanted and they are extremely wide (which was one of the concerns I stated prior to starting was that I didn't want them to look wide) Throughout the manicure I asked her to make some changes and had her reference the picture three times because the nail shape looked pretty off. Towards the end she stated that my nails beds were too wide. She also packed on so much polish that there is a big clump at the base of my nails. I work as a flight attendant at LAX and I'm always very busy on the go. It's my birthday this weekend and wanted to try an make time for a full set and pedi. Must say I'm glad I found No1Nails. My experience was wonderful. The environment was just delightful and peaceful. The young lady working the front was very polite and attentive. I believe the name was Laura. A big Thank You to her by the way!! I notice she also helps a lot around the shop so by her taking her time to help me chose colors and giving me ideas, it felt nice she consider me while she was also busy, very well handled. I was helped by Tim and Tammy and they were great. They were talkative and most places you don't even get a hello. The shop was also very neat and clean. I enjoyed every minute! My nails turned out fabulous! Also for pricing one can simply ask briefly for a quote before getting started with your nail tech, you get an idea about your total. Even that was very reasonable. Updated Review: I've been coming to this salon since high school, and while I had a disappointing experience with an employee here previously (who no longer works here), but I keep coming back because Vivian always delivers amazing service. This morning, I showed up a little early and was expecting to take any nail tech but to my suprise Vivian was there and happily took me. Her customer service, attention to cleanliness, and overall skill are outstanding -- she's just an amazing nail tech and soooo sweet The good far outweighs the bad when you have a nail tech like Vivian on your side. We came in for a group of five pedis and we loved coming here! You walk in and sign in and they will call you accordingly. The receptionist was very welcoming and attentive. I also notice that she helps A LOT around. Besides charging she made sure to help clean chairs and prep chairs. I believe by her doing this it helped the technicians immensely. Not every place I've been to has a person like this helping so much. Thanks to her time went by a lot smoother and also helped us by choosing and bringing our choice of nail polish color. Some comments can be deceiving!! I have been a regular customer for quite some time and never have I had bad experience. The receptionist is a young, beautiful individual and i would like to thank her for always doing a great job.Today as i got my service, I couldn't help but notice/hear some girl cursing and being completely rude towards her. Plain just nasty! Calling her names and being just completely disrespectful. I can say the receptionist handled herself appropriately. She does a wonderful job working for No1 Nails !! first time here.. heard good things about them so i thaught i would give it a try .. biggest mistake ever!! they do have great customer service but that is not enough! the lady that did my pedicure left it sloppy and bumpy i had to ask her three times to fix it and still she didn't make it look reasonable , so disappointed! the lady that did my mails did a good job but she was in a hurry so she forgot to file a few spots and than to make it worse they didn't even do the design i wanted.. for reference THEY HAVE NO VARIETY OF REIN STONES!!!! all they have is gel colors read more

Can I just say this is my favorite spa!! I always end up returning for many reasons. Front desk lady already knows me well, as I am a regular customer. Nice to see they consider their customers. It's always nice to walk in and can relax and converse with any of the ladies. What I am also very comfortable with is knowing the manager is bilingual so that is a huge plus because my mom also comes here on her own sometimes and she always helps my mom by translating or by helping her choose nail colors and to me me that means a lot. They cut my foot during the pedicure, and my hand became red after the manicure. My hand is still red now and very painful. I am very unhappy because I trusted this salon for a long time, but this experience was careless and unacceptable.
