I ordered 24 tubes of pool grout, what was delivered was and empty torn open box. When I tried to call to speak to someone, I found out you can't actually speak to anyone by design and a message tells you to email them. I called direct to their store location where the package was shipped from, and the guy was extremely rude and starting mocking me. Usps did deliver a 20 lbs box that was empty without leaving a notification, and they forged my signature for delivery when I wasn't home (all caught on ring camera). The box was poorly taped from the shipper, and is partially at fault for the box breaking open during shipping. The company refuses to issue me a refund even know this is an issue between them and usps and not the customer who is now out $250. The company wont respond to my emails anymore when requestion an update. I'm sure the company will write up a response to my review saying that they are waiting on usps and not their fault. Its been a month, either usps refused to issue the insurance money on the items due to poor packaging, or the company did get the money and pocked it, which is theft. The company will probably write a response to my review from their "legal team" saying it's illegal to write a bad review. This is comical, they don't have a legal team, it's just some employee with maybe a high school education trying to prevent people from writing their honest review and expose the company. If you're going to claim you have a legal team, at least make it look real with actual attorney names listed and not from your generic company email. Take a look at best pool shop on the BBB website, they have an F rating, that should validate if you are questioning on if this is a legit company or not. Beware of buying replacement Jandy pool equipment from this company. Concerning a warranty, they tell you to register your product with Jandy but Jandy will not offer warranties to online sales....you spend over $500.00 for a product and you don't tell you there us no warranty but hide it. If yelp gave me the option to put no star I would definitely do it to make it well aware that this place is horrible. Starting off with their customer service. The literally are so dry and don't help much when you're looking for the item needed. I had to buy two buckets to patch up my pool but as my pool service company was working on it, they recommended it be redone completely. Those two buckets had to be returned (they were never opened) because I had to pay for a bigger job to be done to the pool. My husband goes in to return the items and first off.. Vartan didn't acknowledge us and helped someone else. After finally trying to help, he right away let's us know we can't return the items because they are chemicals. Don't all these things in buckets have chemicals? Lol He said we couldn't be helped and if we wanted to, to leave our number. As of that gave us the reassurance that we'd get a call or something. It's best you keep away from the business, they even charge a 20% restocking fee for ALL returns. So one way or another, they are going to make money off of you. That's so unfair and off the bat you can see the type of people who are running this business. Your better off getting items from Amazon or somewhere else because if you got advised on something wrong to get.. best believe you're still going to pay that 20% fee for a return. Very poor customer service. I had to return the pool cleaner we purchased as it did not turn when it hit the steps in our pool - just sat there spinning it's wheels. 20% restocking fee is bad enough, $50 in my case, but when I shipped it within the required 30 days, it came back to me marked by USPS as NO COA - no change of address on file. So now this box has been back and forth across the Country 3 times. They were very rude I. Their e-mails and refused to take a phone call or call me to resolve the problem, claiming the box "never came near " their location. What? USPS is lying? I've wasted way too much time with this company. I've contacted my credit card company to refuse to pay this bill. I've never had to do that before. Horrible company. read more

Place a $650 order for pool parts. Said 2 to 4 days delivery. Emailed them on days 5,6, and 9. No response from their ONLINE team. Called the ONLINE team, and there is no way to get a human to talk to you. I then reached out to the brick-and-mortar store as I waited on hold for 30 minutes, and talked to a rude guy (can't say gentleman) who said he can't help with online orders. As I said to him, I am looking for someone who can help with online orders. Rudely, he said, email them. I said I have tried 4 times. I guess I will have to cancel my order that has been on hold since the day I ordered it. He said that would be fine and laughed and hung up on me. Then, as I'm trying to cancel my order, they charge a 6% restocking fee for something that they never attempted to ship. I would suggest that anyone with this problem, it would be best to contact the credit card bank that you used to get it cancelled, so way to save your money on restocking fees. read more

Best pool shop has misleading advertising selling non Jandy valves as "Jandy type" valves. Only when valves are received the consumer, the consumer is realizing that the valves are not made by Jandy. In my case Best Pool shop was willing to refund the purchase price however were not willing to provide a prepaid shipping label thus creating an expense to the consumer at no fault of the consumer. Place an order online and tried calling to contact them about the order. Their phone system does not have options for you to speak with a human being. Called the bricks and mortar store to see if they had a number I could call but they were downright rude and stated they were not part of the online group and had no contact information before hanging up on me. Since I could not contact them to stop the shipment I had to request a return. Their policy is no returns on electrical components but they did authorize a RMA with a 50% restocking fee, even though I had not even opened their box. Don't use these people. Bought a 1 hp spa air motor after researching what size I needed online. According to the paperwork in the box I actually needed a 1.5 hp pump . I reached out to them to just do a simple exchange and I would pay any difference if needed. They would only do a return which then I lose out on a 20% amount from what I paid. This was within just a few days of me receiving the product. So needless to say they made a free $45 dollars off of me . Whatever happened to any type of customer satisfaction smh.
