He told me that he would call me back in 30 minutes, and in less than 30 minutes, he called me right back and informed me that his son Daniel Jr. would be in my place within 15 minutes. After I hung up the phone, his son Daniel was already knocking on my door. Daniel Jr. is polite and respectful, checked my pool pump and timer, and he told me that my pool pump had already given up and needed a replacement. He gave me a quote for a replacement, and his price is within the price range (I already checked how much it will cost to replace it). Daniel Jr. told me that he would come the following day around 7 a.m., and the next day, he was already at my place before 7 am. He got the job done in less than two hours; he cleaned his work area and helped me set up the new pool pump. Overall, my experience with this company is top-notch, with 100% customer service in mind. I highly recommend them, and you will not be disappointed.

I had a very disappointing experience with this pool service. The pool guy left the water running,…read morewhich caused my property to flood. Although he eventually canceled his service bill, I was still left with an additional balance on my water bill, and he never reimbursed me for it. No one was sent to inspect my home for moisture or possible water damage. Canceling the service bill did not address the stress, inconvenience, extra water charges, or potential damage caused by this mistake. I expected him to take full responsibility, reimburse the additional water costs, and arrange a proper moisture inspection. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on how this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this company. Did I mention the water was left on more than 48 hrs!!!

I even recommended him to my neighbor. I didn't realize my neighbor had to get on the horn to get him to finish the job, which he did do, with some hassle. I didn't know about this until recently. Chad is a down to earth guy and I completely trusted him. Turns out if you read the reviews on Chad Taylor at this site, they are completely accurate. It was excuse after excuse and lie after lie to drag this job out through the summer. When I gave him the check for $900 my wife said he could just take that money and cash it for himself and not even order a Jacuzzi top for us amongst other things. I thought she was paranoid. Turns out she was right. When I was in 2nd grade my teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Some of the kids said astronaut, or engineer or professional athlete, etc. Imagine what Chad would say: "I want to be a crook, and a liar." Chad would grow up to be exactly as imagined. I didn't bother to complain to Mission Valley Spa. Based on prior yelp reviews; I figured they wouldn't help me at all.

I would give zero stars if I could. See pictures and judge for yourself. Very disappointing…read morelandscaping results in our HOA community since Garden View (Steven Luevanos?) took over. I've been reporting concerns about the lawn since October 2025. More than a year later, the grass remains patchy and uneven, with extensive dead areas, exposed dirt, and weeds growing all over the bare soil. Even basic cleanup seems to be lacking, as grass clippings and debris are often left behind instead of being blown off the walkways after mowing. I recently spoke with Steven, who confirmed they've been spot-treating weeds for months. Yet there's been little to no improvement, and some areas actually look worse. When I brought up the uneven grass and poor lawn condition, he blamed the nearby tree rather than offering a clear solution. During an earlier inspection, Steven acknowledged that the lawn needed weed treatment and reseeding, but that restoration still hasn't been completed to my knowledge. What's especially frustrating is that Garden View is contracted by our HOA and presumably receives regular payment to maintain the community. Yet when I raised these ongoing concerns directly with Steven, his response came across as dismissive and lacking accountability. As a homeowner paying HOA dues, it's disappointing to see such poor results and little apparent urgency to address them. I understand landscaping takes time and trees can affect grass growth, but after months of treatment and repeated complaints, I would expect visible improvement, proper cleanup, and a realistic restoration plan. The pictures speak for themselves. Being paid to maintain a property should come with some level of responsibility and accountability. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Garden View. Extremely disappointing.

Project manager Josef was excellent in bringing in his partners (designers, foreman, etc.) to ensure from the design to finish we were collaborating and satisfied with the end result. For the garage, we had it drywalled (no insulation), installation of a attic ladder (bought from Home Depot) to make use of a pre-built storage area, updated garage door and exterior lighting. Front yard included adding extra pavement to be able to park two cars on the driveway (we have the pre WW II one car driveway) but looks like a part of the front yard design, installation of artificial grass (YAY), redo of the front porch to include redoing the porch ceiling with a bare wood look, and installation of a pathway to the front steps. We had 3 home improvement projects in the last couple of years (including this project) and WTG Builders was the best in terms of responsiveness, communication, and setting expectations. Perhaps I'm more wiser too about projects but I appreciated Project Manager Josef's communication and updates and the various trade teams were fantastic. I also took into consideration their work in the local Long Beach/Lakewood area which I think is important. I would use them again and recommend them for similar projects!
