The guy named Farshot, Farshiite, Farshat, Fasshat, or something, that I spoke with on the phone 06.22.2026 at 4:25 and 4:27pm was exceptionally polite, non accusatory, definitely not belligerent, nor rude, condescending, insulting or unhinged. He even went so far out his way to help me, that I feel like I was helped by a Holy Saint sent here to teach peace, love, and compassion. Soooo... why the 1 Star you might ask???
After my online order was returned and back at the store, I began calling the store. The 8 times I called, I was prompted to talk to online order support, and 8 times I got a message that "online order support" was too busy, and to use email for questions regarding online orders. Four days ago I sent an email and had no reply from the mysterious "online order support" people. Here's how today's conversation went after I decided to press the "speak to store" option.
A guy answers the phone by mumbling his name quickly. I introduce myself by name and asked him for his name again, and also ask if I was calling Best Pool Shop. He repeats his name. Pick one above because he says it so fast. I tell him I can't understand his name, could he please spell it. He yells me his name and then rudely says, "What, is that why you are calling? For my name? To write my name down?". I tell him no, and that I have a question, but that it would be nice to know that I'm saying his name correctly, and if I'm calling the correct place. He then yells his name again and actually says, "If that's the reason you're calling then I'm going to hang-up." Well, when I started to talk, he hung up. Two minutes later ( see times above ) he calls me back from a different phone number, and exclaims, "Why did you hang-up, what did you do, what happened?!" I say, "Umm... excuse me, but you hung-up on me, and you even said you were going to." He tells me that he would never hang up on a customer, that I must have hung-up on him, and he's actually saying it in a normal tone of voice and somewhat nicely. This mood change is something he does several times during our discussion. When he's wrong, he becomes nice by explaining away his wrongs and putting them on to you. When he thinks he's 100% in the right, he becomes beligerent and angrily expresses that he's right and your wrong. I explain that my online order was returned to his store because of an undeliverable address, and I am awaiting a refund. I tell him that I called many times and that nobody ever answers the "online support" dept. He nicely, like in a gotcha way, tells me that I need to send an email to "online order support." I say that I did send an email. He becomes angry yelling "he" hasn't received it, and that "I" always respond very very quickly, and that I never sent "him" an email. I tell him that it was 4 days ago, and while I'm saying it, I am resending it and it shows received. Again he yells that I never sent it, I'm lying, and that "online support" will look for the returned item and issue a refund in 7 -10 business days. I tell him that according to USPS it was delivered to his "online support" dept 25 days ago. He becomes nice and says, "Oh, I'll do you a favor and forward the information to the "online support" department, and they'll process your refund." I asked him if it wouldn't be better for both of us to just correct the address and resend. He goes into a tirade about how they tried sending it twice ( nope ) and about me adding an incorrect address, and yelling that it's my fault. I tell him my billing and receiving addresses were combined and mixed up on the mailing label, and this is almost impossible as they are autofilled, and he again yells "why did you enter your address wrong?! I'm doing you a huge favor by contacting "online support! You'll get your refund when they receive the email!" And don't even get me started about the refund. Run, run, run, from this place as fast as possible unless you want an irritable, rude, angry, he's never wrong ( he'll tell you that ), Jeckyll and Hyde experience.
