Will not do business with them again. I ordered replacement parts for my pool vac, and they implied that that I was to blame for not installing correctly. Or that other faulty parts were not replaced. I took special care to follow expert installation instructions, and especially took caution not to rotate the gear box drives prior to or during the installation process. Because I installed the parts, their policy is not accept any returns. So beware that their products may not work, and they will not guarantee or back what they sell you. This place is a scam. Ordered a part online which was supposed to be OEM equipment - it isn't. Doesn't even work - it's defective. Paid more so that I wouldn't have to deal with substandard parts. Good thing that it wasn't that expensive. When I contacted them to replace or refund the order, I got an email from "Legal Department" admonishing me not to try and get a refund, or dispute the charge on my credit card. I am writing to clarify the response that the merchant gave to my review. First of all, the product was not damaged, secondly the box was intact, I merely wrote my return address on the upper left hand corner of the box. Attached is a photo showing how this item was sent to me, please note the USPS Priority One mail envelopes, that he uses for packaging instead of purchasing packaging material. I have reported him the Post Office as this is highly illegal.This merchant requires you to sign an agreement and that is how he is able to refuse to refund your payment. Buyer beware, please read the agreement because this is how he is able to fraudulently scam you out of your money!! I have never cheated anybody in my life, and my review is the honest truth. Great prices, quick shipping. They lost a star for placing Hayward® at the header of the item when it was an aftermarket part and not OEM. However, I should have read into it a bit deeper, as it shows the brand lower in the description. Still, slightly deceptive and I wish retailers didn't do this. As most Jandy pool owners know, there is a consistent failure of the system to prime itself. Regardless of what you think, it's all about the pump lid. Use only Jandy replacement parts or odds are it won't work. Finding them can be a problem. Best Pool Shop in California has them, ships fast and safe and are absolutely fantastic! On September 27, 2025, at 9:47 am, I called the Pasedena location to verify they had a Hayward Pool Cleaner in stock and to verify the website price. A male answered the phone and I asked if he could check the sku number to verify stock and price before driving 45 minutes to the store. I gave him the sku and with anger said, "we have hundreds in stock, do you have any more questions that could be answered by just looking at the website." I asked about the price and he said "You are wasting my time, the web site is correct." He refused to transfer me to a manager and when I asked for his name he replied, "My name?
