Fast shipping, quality products, exactly what I needed at a great price. Thanks for great service!

.Well firstly the order came quick which is important because I didn't want my pool to turn green secondly it was the best price that I could find including the shipping it was also was the exact motor and parts that I needed delivery only took a few days and I was able to track it so I knew when to be home . I used to buy from another online Pool Supply but going forward I'll buy from best I also like the fact that I say family-owned business read more

If I could give them zero stars it would be too much. Ordered a Pentair part because they were the most cost effective but later realized they add a ton of extra costs to the shipping. Also their online portal said FedEx so I thought that's why it was so expensive. Nope they sent me a label for USPS and when I questioned them instead of just explaining they were rude and unprofessional but not shocking considering 8 negative reviews in the last year from BBB. Then they cancelled the label, charged my card and never sent the goods. Complete crooks!!! Stay very far away from this company's cheap price online bait and switch. Then I read other reviews they were selling counterfeit Pentair goods so thankful I didn't buy from them. read more

Best Pool Shop - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Pasadena, California

It was exactly what I order and rapidly without any issue. Great to do business with this company

I ordered a Pentair Rebel V2 vacuum head on 1/24/24, received it (the product appeared to be used), installed it, and discovered it was intermittent in its operation and often just stopped. I conferred with Best Pool Shop and they said I didn't have enough vacuum. My pool service had it set to maximum but said they thought it was a defective head. I went back to Best Pool and they said that was impossible because they did not sell defective products. (Do they test each and every one before selling it? No!) I examined the head and discovered the drive gear would not stay engaged with the ring gear on the wheel. I told them I wanted to return it and get my money back. They said go to the manufacturer. I returned the product to them, got receipt, and again requested a refund. No replies back. Their web site appear to be "down for maintenance." They refuse to answer any email I send to them. If I call, they do not answer and put you into an endless phone answering loop. This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Beware of dealing with them. Other reviews say they are crooks. I would have to agree. I read a complaint against them from the Better Business Bureau where another person accused them of selling counterfeit/knock-off Pentair products that don't work. I now suspect that this is the case with me since it came in a generic no-label box and there were on printed instructions or manuals or guarantee included. Check out all the serious complaints against them at the Better Business Bureau: They have an F rating. https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/pasadena/profile/pool-equipment/best-pool-shop-inc-1216-1081832/complaints Look at all their bad Google Reviews too. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Best+Pool+Shop/@34.1411954,-118.0731306,16z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x80c29927934178b1:0x28913ae29841fa25!8m2!3d34.1411954!4d-118.0731306!16s%2Fg%2F11f5k213gr?entry=ttu Be sure to read all the bad Yelp reviews too. https://www.yelp.com/biz/best-pool-shop-pasadena read more

Best Pool Shop - Beware of doing business with this person. - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Pasadena, California

Put an online order and received no help. Told the guy my problem and he hung up on me without saying a word.

When this part went out on my pool pump I could not find a replacement local nor anywhere closer than Pasadena, CA. I was panicked that it wouldn't get here anytime soon. Also, the pricing for this part from other shops were very high so I was worried about pricing before I looked at the price at Best Pool Shop. Best Pool Shop not only had the part in stock, the price was a fraction of what the others were charging. There was no tax and shipping was free! My replacement part came very well packaged. It also was a quality part and was exactly what was advertised. Also, the part was ordered on the 6/7/24 and it was delivered on 6/10/24. I live in AZ so granted not that far but I have had things in my own state take longer, lol. Long story short, Best Pool Shop did everything professionally, affordably priced, and delivered swiftly. I would order from them again with no second thought. read more

I was looking for a FULLY ASSEMBLED part for my Haywood filter & went on line & to local pool stores for 3 months. NOBODY was able to get me this part (Oh yes I tried) , Then found Best Pools & they actually posted a video of exactly what I was looking for. Price was extremely reasonable, part came in PERFECT & I installed it. Best service I ever got !! I'll be back :-) read more

The best place to shop for everything for your pool with the best prices known to man. im pool owner over 40 years. my pool service guy recommended the new pool sweep $200. using my fairly new hoses. This is the least expensive and the best one I have ever owned. No assembly needed. All the items I've order from them are perfect and affordable read more

I'm not sure about all the bad juju in the Yelp reviews of this place. My wife and I visited a couple months ago to get a pool vacuum, a hot tub blower (IYKYK), and some water test strips. Vartan was cordial and helpful--didn't try to upsell anything, gave me straight an honest information, and even processed my online rebate for me to n the pool vacuum. When the vacuum wheels started doing some weird stuff a week after purchase, I took it back into the store and Vartan was very helpful-- kept the unit so I could go back to work, contacted the manufacturer, and made the repair. The vacuum is working great ever since. When I visit a place like this, I'm not looking for a new best buddy to hang out with and eat ice cream... but I am lookin go for no-nonsense answers to technical questions about a subject in which I'm not an expert, and need to rely on trust and integrity. Glad to say I found that here, and will visit again with any needs to service my pool. read more

Unbelievable fast shipping, which was also free, which included outstanding communication on the status of my order. To make matters even better the pricing was very competitive. I needed to replace my aging Hayward Navigator, which has been rebuilt numerous times over the past few years. They had just what I needed, the head unit only, no need for the hoses, etc. Order was placed on a Wednesday and it was at my home on Friday. Very responsive to any questions and great product selection. Definitely a five star business!! read more

Was looking for a new pool booster and found this smaller company who not only gave me the best price but shipped to me immediately! The whole process was seamless and so efficient. I would purchase from this company again. They are my new "go to" future Pool equipment needs. Would recommend them again and again! read more

The pool RX we ordered was shipped quickly and works great. Best price I found online. Very happy with purchase. Thanks Best Pool Shop!

Ordered tubing online for my chlorinator. Its been 2 weeks and still not here same state one county over. Finally responded with ai and said order was cancelled, but they still billed my credit card. Now have to deal with credit card and still dont have tubing. Do not use this company they are incompetent. read more

Had a very complete inventory. I didn't need to go to other shops to complete my shopping. Attendant was very knowledgeable about his products. read more

The websites advertised 10 inch steel pool brushes at $18.99, in store for $ 16.99. So, I went to the store, it turned out to be unavailable, instead, selling only 18 inches for $39.99. I ended up paying it without realizing it's overpriced, meanwhile I bought a pool water conditioner as recommended by the clerk at $ 39.99 which is also overpriced. After I realized the fact, within 30 minutes I went back and tried to return it, the response was I can't return it according to their policy which is small fine prints on the receipt without me realizing which is probably my fault, on further discussion, I was not going anywhere, so, I ended up paying for the liquid and 20% deduction from the brush, again it's written on small scanner as well. My lesson is not to trust their online advertising and I will not go back to shop in the store anymore which is also advised by the personnel. I guess it's not a very great experience for me shopping there. But, I have to admit that store has majority of the pool supplies you need and staff are knowledgeable about the pool products. read more

Ordered online very quick delivery and instructions on to install. Second time I've used them.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Their prices look ok online, but they absolutely try to avoid talking with customers or helping their online side. The shop won't help either. It takes a very long time to get to a human if you even can. If you want to discussed a product or part number, my wife and I found them to be very rude and they even hung up once. And if you mention a part number and not a part ID, you will get a rude response. I was kind back, but they act they are doing you a favor. Go somewhere else until they learn how to treat people. BEWARE! Dishonest business practice . Positive reviews must be fraudulent. They send the cheapest, piece of junk as a replacement pump for Pentair. My pool co. was horrified. Their salesman is instantly loud, rude, strident, lecturing -- he obviously rehearsed his tirade with so many other unhappy customers. Don't join this unhappy crowd! The store takes it back if is hasnt been unpacked, and one pays for the shipment and pays a 30% restocking fee. read more

Same as many of the other people who have bought from this place. They sent me a package of cheaply made parts that don't fit. Then they want me to pay 20% restocking + shipping to get them returned. Don't do business here. read more

Best place is nothing but phony. They tell you parts are original equipment when they are in fact generic. I would be leery about buying old goods like pumps or filters from them. When you don't know the history behind it. is it used is it open damaged box. And some of the chemicals they have on their shelf have been sitting for years. So I would question the strength of them and also the legitimacy of them because some of the chemicals have been banned by the EPA and they say that's not true. read more

After multiple conversations with their customer service tech he convinced me that he had personally checked this item to insure that it would retrofit with our system. IT DID NOT, so the installer had to rebuild our system to make this one work and it cost us twice as much to install. Also I was told that they DO NOT accept returns. VERY unhappy with this company. read more

Be aware order a part received a week later and didn't fit. Return never used part and only received partial cost after paying out my pocket return cost. It's not worth it. You end up paying unnecessary cost for a product that you need to purchase somewhere else. No referral from me ever .. read more

I think your one star reviews says it best TOTAL SCAM AND THAT'S A UNDERSTATEMENT. Their so-called courtesy call was super unprofessional, nothing was resolved and I felt like I was getting the runaround. I ended up getting ripped off. read more

Great service, selection and value! My pool parts were in stock and much less expensive than local pool shops, go figure. If it weren't for the good ol' USPS routing my package from California to Florida, then Texas then back to Florida, I would have received my delivery normally as in previous orders. I would highly recommend BEST POOL SHOPS, and the nice part is that they accept Amazon Pay which makes the transaction easy peasy. read more

The company has a really bad online ordering system. I've never used them. However, they processed a credit card transaction fraudulently on my card and then called to try to Double getting the money from me.. You're better off using a legitimate company read more

This place is a scam. Selling counterfeit parts as original. I will be reporting this place to all authorities. Charging a restocking fee for returning damaged products is very shady. Do not buy from this clown. Has the worst customer service I have ever gotten. Explained the bottom didn't want to go onto the tube and I did not want to break it. Came back with an attitude and said just push it on. That all come that way. Kept calling me back and saying are you calm now or should I hang up and call back to which he did 3 times. Horrible owner (according to the clown I spoke to) don't know if he is but had an accent. And of course the customer is always wrong and their right. Buy at your own risk.
