Quick stop in Bend and wanted a light lunch (Read: not pub food). Delicious salad with spinach/arugula, cranberry, chèvre and pistachio. Got some minestrone soup, too. The food here is so so good. All of the pizza is so good and even the slices that have been sitting there all day are great. The have a very wide variety of beverage options, and even a vegan menu. There is one problem- the service. Last time I went there were only a few people there, and my food took FOREVER. They even forgot my friends salad, and she had to wait even longer. My family and I went to Bend Pizza Kitchen for lunch and it was delicious! The kiddo killed the cheesy bread, the guys loved the Chicago style pizza and I had soup & salad that hit the spot. What pleases me the most was the vegan menu, I'm not a vegan but for a foodie with many sensitivities it offered more options than most restaurants. The interior is clean & beautiful and the exterior has plenty of seats on the patio. My husband has been a couple times already and says it's the best pizza he's ever had...he's a ham and pineapple guy. I look forward to my next visit. read more

I am not a fan of very doughy, very red-saucy, very cheesy pizza. I like a nice crispy, light crust and the toppings being the star. Really solid pizza by the slice and generously-sized, fresh salads. Nice selection of beverages including local brews, kombuchas and better-than-average wine by the glass. read more

I love the concept of an all veg pizza place! Unfortunately I think the prices are pretty crazy compared to the portions; I spent $20 for an on menu small pizza and could have still eaten more after I finished it (and I'm a small person) howeverrrr it was really freaking good. Robert and his staff at BPK are amazing! We called around looking for a restaurant that could accommodate a very large group with 2 days notice (super hard to find in Bend) and they hit a home run! They set up a tables outside on the patio, looked so good and it was perfect for what we wanted. Their food is so good- pizzas are delicious, salads are so fresh, great vegan options and have a great selection of beer and wine. Stopped by today when I was craving a Chicago style pizza. It wasn't quite equivalent to those great pizzas I've had in Chicago, but it was close enough to make me extremely happy. For toppings, I copied one of my favorites from the Bay Area, Zachary's Spinach and Mushroom (with some crispy pepperoni on top). It was good, really good. I liked the rich sauce (and there was a lot of it which I appreciated). My wife and 2 year old son also enjoyed the pizza. We really appreciated the attention to ingredients. There were a lot of high quality ingredients used. (I'm the type of customer that poo-poos a restaurant when I notice that they supply from Sysco.) This place has many organic and local ingredients. It felt like a farm-to-table restaurant. The beer selection was good as well. They arranged the taps generally from light to dark and they had a good variety of styles and breweries. I didn't count the taps, but as I recall there were about 10-12. Service was also great. Haley took our order and was accommodating to our requests. Bland, boring, horrible pizza. Lacked flavor. When you pick up a slice of pizza, the crust shouldn't crack. Just bad dough. Best pizza in Bend!!! I've lived in Bend for almost thirty years and have eaten at all the pizza places in town. I tried this one recently, after a friend recommended it, and it was superb! Best pizza we've ever had. We orders two pizzas, a calzones, and two salads. All the ingredients were locally grown and tasted so fresh. The pizza and calzones were amazing! They even have an all vegan menu which we ordered from and for veggie lovers, this is the place to go! Their vegan menu is outstanding! New favorite spot!!! read more

I really want to like this place and see it succeed. Unfortunately, we have had way to many less than great experiences. At first they could never seem to get our order right, which were not that complicated to begin with. That got better, but then they jacked their prices up to ridiculous levels. They claim the price increase is due to using local and organic ingredients, but even so-- the value is not there. We ordered a small pizza off their menu and it was $16.00. When we brought it home we discovered it was only 4 small slices. Seriously? You can drive a few miles down the road to MOD pizza and get the exact same size for half that price. Also, the pepperoni they use are the size of a quarter and they use them sparingly. If they want to charge these prices then they need to make sure that the pizzas are heaped with fresh, tasty ingredients and are flawlessly prepared. read more

Bend Pizza kitchen's pizza is less than desirable. The cheese was a melted slab on average crust. The toppings are almost nonexistent and the price is a joke. I can get so much more for my money at Versante, Mondos and Mod. Martolli's knew how to make pizza. It's a shame they sold. And with Bend Pizza Kitchen's atmosphere being a complete drag, location alone is not enough for me to buy bad pizza at their price. It is unfortunate that a pizza place can't seem to survive in NWX but let's face, this neighborhood is going to order pizza delivered from one of our favorites or get out to one of the local pubs if we want to really eat pizza out. And the newly shaded doors and windows is not fooling anyone. We know they're empty. We know Washington, La Rosa and Portello are happening. read more

This place is amazing! Went here for lunch today and had a vegan bbq chicken and jalapeno pizza and a vegan Caesar salad with a soda for 10$! We plit it so 2 of us are this deal, it wasn't enough food for 2, the pizza was sooooo tiny! It says it's 6 inches but it was more like 4, lol! We have been to BPK several times, and we always look forward to going again. This pizza place is within walking distance of my home, and the outside seating area is welcoming to dogs. The server even brought her a biscuit and a water dish with iced water! The last time we went, a young man was performing outside - singing and playing his guitar. He had a wonderful repertoire of music for all ages. What a treat! Even better than that, the pizza and salads are among the best in Bend. SO many vegan options! From the pizza, salad, and even great cheese cake, all were a well- rounded vegan meal. Also, they now have CBD soda (amazing) and you can add cbd to your pizza. read more

Like several others, we (my son and I) tried Bend Pizza Kitchen only to experience the same frustrations with extremely slow service. Salad came quick. Our cheesy bread, however, took +30 min. I go to this pizza place on lunches to grab a quick slice and it's not too bad. I took my friends there exited to get the deep dish pizza. It's $32 so we were really looking forward to it. Well, it came out and we were all very disappointed. The crust was overcooked and extremely dry, the sauce was overpowering everything and it was lacking the deep dish pile of ingredients. It tasted like we were chewing on dog biscuits. On the bright side the cheese sticks were fantastic. Their calzones are not too bad either. read more

Gawd. Pizza. You decide to go to pizza and think "at least we won't be spending a fortune." Not the case here. Crappy pizza for A LOT of money. Glass of Chianti - 8 bucks. A bottle of which probably is less. We got a 14" pizza (that's a smidge bigger than a personal) - a salad & 2 drinks. 50 bucks! And it was waaay below average. The place was empty at 6pm. That should have been the first tip. I'm not trying to hurt anyone's livelihood. But if you are going to give meh pizza then at least give it at a reasonable price. Seriously, either up the taste or lower the price. I cannot get over spending 50 bucks for it. There are so many other places we could have had a better experience for less. Pizza for chrissakes. Special orders easily handled...my favorite is the. "nonna"...red sauce pesto sauce, normal cheeses, basil, spinach, carmeluzed onions, grilled mushrooms, feta, prosciutto (optional). Made by hand, so no complaining about wait times, including delivery. Good things are worth the wait. read more

Daily special til 4pm: 1 slice of pizza, side salad, drink: $9. That's expensive to me but it's local and organic and they serve a favorite kombucha flavor: R&R, so I went for it. Pizza was excellent, salad had way too much onion for me. I gave them 4 stars bc despite high price, food was good, they were very friendly, quick (place was empty), and owner let me use the $5 off $20 coupon even though my total was only $15. I have been searching for a good deep dish pizza in Bend forever. Once upon a time about 15 years ago I wanted to open my own deep dish pizza restaurant here, and spent about six months perfecting recipes. I gave up on that idea, but have still been in search of a good deep pie here. I'm just not into wimpy thin crust pizzas- yawn- and we have millions of varieties of those already. But the deep dish pizza at Bend Pizza kitchen is the real deal. Straight out of Chicago, completely perfect, the sauce is tangy and thick, the pizza is heavy and well loaded. So damn authentic it set me back when I tasted it. This would be a straight up five star plus review, if it weren't for the price. $33 is far too much for a 14 inch pizza. If it were $23, they'd have five stars from me. I realize they have high rent in Northwest Crossing, and hope that in the future they will move to a better location that would allow them to serve people of lesser means as well as affluent Bendites. Such amazing pizza. Its the freshest in town by a long shot. Every time I travel through Bend back up to Portland I pick up at least two large pizzas for my roommates and I. Love the Pizza. Love the staff. If you want fresh pizza in Bend, go to BPK. My roommates agree. read more
