Great pizza and 24" is much bigger than I anticipated lol. Dough is absolutely perfect. I wish it was cooked a little longer but me standing there waiting for it may have unintentionally sped up their cooking time. It was great though because we could put in oven at 450 for a few minutes and warm it up and then it was perfect. Definitely going back but maybe a smaller size next time. Great customer service too. OMG!!! Best pizza ever!!! We are staying down the street from this delectable place. Tonight we ordered a giant 24 inch pizza, half combo, half sausage and olive. It came with complimentary cheese bread if you sent in a text to the pizzeria. We were greeted in such a friendly manner and everyone was wearing masks. This crust is the best I've ever had...seriously! The slices were huge and it's great for someone like me that likes to fold my pizza while eating! Tender crust with just a hint of crustiness. The pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms and black olives were over the top goodness!!! We asked for extra Parmesan and red chili flakes and they hooked us up well!!! Really friendly staff.it's a little hard to find but worth the effort. This place is a favorite neighborhood place and is really busy at dinner time. I'm retired, and it affords me the luxury of being able to explore the country in search of beauty, wonder, and amazing food. Having spent so much of my life living and working IN New York City, NY, Pizza is a passion. Finding GOOD pizza in the wilds of the country is such a gift; it makes me less homesick. When I left Burbank last week to make my way to Bend, Cibelli's was at the very top of my list of places to sample food. It was at the top because their website indicated that they were REAL NY-style pizza. Which shows both humility, and allows people to be amazed when they get here. Today was the day for me to be amazed. Don't get me wrong, so much about Bend is amazing, and it's well known for its food scene, but my priority today was Pizza. And Cibelli's made it to my list before I even left California. The pizza, oh my, as good as any I've ever had in NY with some things to distinguish it above the rest. The 24" Giant pies and slices are from the top-shelf places in NY, and Cibelli's does not disappoint in this regard, they have the Giant pies here too! But anyone can roll out some dough, slap some stuff on it, and call it pizza. How does Cibelli's stack up so to speak? My Uncle, and his father before him, were Pizza Men in New York City, so I learned early on about simply good pizza, and pizza made with passion, care, and love. The dough has to be just right, the sauce not too sweet, not too spicy, and the toppings in balance so that each bite is perfect. Like the old Streisand Movie, the "The Mirror Has Two Faces" where she talks about finding the perfect bite? Well, that's Cibelli's here, and that passion and understanding of good pizza were covered well in my conversation with Mike, a veteran Pizza Man at Cibelli's who understands the ART of pizza. And yes, Good Pizza, like Cibelli's? Yes, without question, that's art, that's the perfect bite with each bite of pizza. It's time, temperature, ingredients, passion, and love. You can't get that at a big national or international chain restaurant. But you can get that here. Mike spoke honestly and unbidden with me about pizza, and yeah, he has the passion and love to mix all those ingredients to give you more than just food, he gives you passion a slice of pie at a time. So if you love really good New York Style Pizza, don't hesitate to come to see Mike, Luke, and the rest of the crew at Cibelli's and enjoy some excellent food!!! Called at 5:10 on Monday pm and told to pick up at 6. Walked in at 6:05 and the staff was jovial, in conversation and bored and asked if I ordered a pizza? Then said they just pulled it out of the oven. Had to reheat the pizza and it was skimped on topping worst I've had. Better try the one on 97, they deliver on quality every time. read more

These guys just moved into first place in my book. Yeah there are some fancier, hipper, trendier places in Bend, but this place reliably cranks out good pizza and has friendly staff. Solid meal for my family. Hope things never change. read more

Very friendly staff. The crust was the best. They were light on the toppings but that was OK, because you could taste the freshness of the crust even better. We warmed our leftover pieces in the air fryer and it was just as good when we got it fresh but the crust was slightly crisper. The flavors of the toppings also tasted very fresh. read more

this restaurant doesn't offer delivery. they don't do it themselves. during covid especially they should have something set up. even though they are on post-mates, doordash, ubereats, and others. they tell the drivers who come to pick up the food that they don't do that. the customer is always first. you arent a dine in resturant. you should make the customer a priority. making the customer come into your tiny entrance way during covid is unacceptable. read more

One of the best pizza's I've ever ate! We were in Bend from out of town visiting a relative receiving cancer treatments at St. Charles. We ordered take out from Cibelli's and it was really good. Absolutely delicious. The gentleman that helped us was super friendly, and helped us with choosing which would be cheaper for us, and ended up giving us extra cheese without asking. My wife and i grabbed a giant pizza to go, and when they say GIANT, they mean it. The giant pepperoni pizza was huge and the pizza was fantastic. We love the crust, so we really enjoyed the delicious crust! If you have quite a few mouths to feed, i would grab the giant! read more

I can't understand the bad reviews. I got a slice a few months ago, waiting for my dog Beds to dry at the laundromat next door. I LOVED IT! The crust is crisp but chewy. My husband isn't a big pizza guy but he has given the thumbs up for a pizza lunch or dinner. I'm very picky, a foodie, I guess. I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

We've been wanting to try Cibellis during our Bend vacation this week and finally did.. We ordered to go-the special which includes a giant 3 topping, breadsticks, salad and 2- 2 liter sodas for $38 which was a great deal and wasn't a long wait. The pizza was super thin, and good but really needed more sauce especially when you get to the crusty chewy yummy end. At that point we were really wishing we had some sauce to dip it in. A little more cheese on the pizza would be nice too. We also ordered a Med combo which was extremely skimpy on toppings and didn't have much flavor. When we opened it we thought we got the wrong pizza because it was so sparse-very disappointing! Overall I'd recommend Cibellis, 4 adults and 4 kids all liked it. Ordered a GIANT cheese pizza to go for 8 people, and it was perfect. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the thin-but-not-too-thin crust, with the right amount of sauce and just enough cheese that didn't slide off the pizza when you took a bite. It is extremely disappointing to me that what has been my favorite pizza place in town is dehumanizing their employees by placing cameras directly over them and focusing the cameras directly on them while they are working. I have tried other pizza places in town that I frankly did not like at all in comparison to Cibelli's, but now I feel like I should not be supporting this place due to what is going on. Never in my life have I seen any restaurant or fast food place focus their cameras on the employees instead of using them for actual security purposes. To me, this is a direct abuse of corporate power, basically the big guys micromanaging the smaller guys on a whole new level. And the sad thing is, other than this, everything about the experience was great. The employees have always been extremely friendly, pizza has perfect ingredients and was cooked perfectly, and service was actually pretty fast. I never write reviews ever, the only reason I'm writing one in this situation is because I honestly hope this changes because this is ridiculous. Treat your employees like they are human, not corporate slaves. That's my take! read more
