Had a craving for some pizza and found this spot on Google. It wasnt too busy when we entered only one other person in there, but it picked up some after we ordered. We looked over the menu before ordering, the girl at the counter gave us some time to brows and helped the other guest a regular as they were on a first name basis. We ordered small salads from the salad bar, cheese bread a pizza and some sodas. Thr salad bar had alot of options for topping your salad. I was a huge fan of what looked like house made croutons. They also had cottage cheese & fruit, potato salad that was good. They had everything from carrots to beets, peas and pickles. There were many options at their salad bar. The salad bar came with a breadstick as well. They made the pizza and it took about 20 minutes. They had a different type of pizza oven that what I am used to seeing back home. They do charge 50 cents per ranch for your pizza, no card cash only for that. We got called over the speaker when our appetizers was ready. We also got called to the counter to pick up our pizza. The regulars who arrived after us, got their food brought to the table. Not sure if you have to request that option. Also not there is a $1.50 boxing fee if you want a box for your left overs. Cake flats and foil are avaliable free at rhe counter. The pizza had the crisp at the base of the crust and a fluffier dough above. They were generous with the toppings and the slices were large. We had plenty of left overs. It wasnt the best pizza I have had but it was really good. The crust was perfect for what I was looking for, but next time i would get plain cheese or pepperoni over the combo. read more

I took my son and family to Old Town Pizza last Wednesday for his birthday and it was our first time there. I almost didn't go because a couple friends told me it "wasn't that good." Fortunately I've learned that sometimes friends are wrong and Yelp is right. First challenge is parking. It's on a busy street and there's basically none. But if you can survive the rugged wilderness trek of... about one block... you'll be just fine. Once inside the place is clean, roomy, and has that perfect cozy old school pizza joint vibe. The kind of place where the smell alone makes you instantly hungry. The lady behind the counter was tossing pizza dough like she's been doing it since the Reagan administration. Always a good sign. The beer was cold, the salad bar is gloriously old school (which I love), and the service was excellent from the moment we walked in. Now let's talk pizza. This is not one of those sad flat crunchy pizzas with three lonely toppings scattered around like they're rationing pepperoni during wartime. This pizza is crunchy, cheesy, and loaded the way pizza should be. If you believe toppings belong on pizza instead of being used sparingly like museum artifacts, this place gets it right. The guy behind the bar called me by name all night which caught me off guard. I finally asked if he owned the place and he said no. If that's just an employee treating the place like it's his own, that says a lot about the culture there. Great service, great pizza, cold beer, and a place that actually feels like a pizza joint. We'll definitely be back. My friends who told me it wasn't good are no longer allowed to recommend restaurants. read more

Found them from a PBS show Vinny did called All Across Oregon. Was stoked to see them throwing dough and figured we'd try them on our next Bend trip. It's pretty self serve: seat yourself, order at the counter, pick up when ready, grab your own waters and use the salad bar. We had the pepperoni bread, salad, medium combo on regular crust and small primo on thin crust. All were great and filled the bellies well... even a few leftover slices for later. I wish I could give this pizza more stars. From the crust, to the sauce and finally the amazing toppings, simply the best pizza you can find in Central Oregon. Our favorite is the Stromboli. The sausage in this pizza is out of this world and mixed with the fresh veggies and pepperoni, it's perfect! Go here people!!!! read more

I think this may just be the best pizza I've ever had! The salad bar was also great- we had the lunch special and then came back for a pizza for dinner as well! Searching Bend for a pizza place seemed difficult because so many options popped up, but we got lucky picking this one to eat at. Very chill atmosphere, order at the counter, self serve salad bar, plus beer and wine. All the employees are super cool and helpful. We had combo #1 and cheese for the lunch special and a combo #2 whole pizza for dinner. Both times the combo was LOADED, crust cooked to perfection and not overly saucy. Ordered pizza for pick up a couple nights before Christmas. They were very friendly on the phone and at pick up. They open the box when you're there to show you the pizza, which you can see on their face that they are very proud of their work. And it did look amazing! We ordered the #2 combo in a large. It was definitely a large and the toppings were plentiful. The only thing I thought, was there was barely any sauce or cheese, but the other toppings were loaded on. We really enjoyed the pizza, thought that maybe they could cut the slices a bit smaller, but they probably don't because of all of the toppings. I would definitely go back, but not as often as I would like because of the price point. read more

I'm originally from Chicago and moved to Oregon roughly 7 years ago- and THIS is the best pizza that I have had since I moved out here!!! The crust is perfectly chewy yet crispy and I really enjoy sweet sauce of the pizza. They load on the toppings very thick, which is something that I have really missed from back home. We were craving good pizza at a reasonable price so we visited our local favorite. We hadn't eaten there for quite some time as we have been eating more often at home. Needless to w, they delivered a top quality pie as we remembered. Did a half stromboli and half primo. Loaded with high quality toppings and tasty as ever. I remember when these guys opened and spoke with the owner on multiple occasions. COVID-19 update, two takeout pizzas: Margarita - thin crust. Margarita is my favorite pizza style, and one which I use to gauge a pizza joint. Unfortunately, Olde Town's doesn't fare very well, mainly from the bland sliced tomatoes. It's not horrible, just not very good. Primo - thin crust. The Primo is an artichoke-feta vegetarian pizza. Not something I'd order on my own but my wife thought it would work for a group-of-four gathering (socially distanced, of course). I'll try to be objective and say that if you like this style of pizza, Olde Town's is pretty good. Original review: Stromboli - thin (New York) crust: a fine, traditional pizza. This particular choice of ingredients renders a somewhat greasy and heavy pizza, but it was tasty and worth it. Beer on tap: Bend-style IPA, my fave. Salad bar is adequate, nothing to write home about. It provides the necessary rabbit food justification for subsequent gorging on beer and pizza. We wanted a good pizza to take back to hotel when we were passing through Bend and decided to give Old Towne Pizza a try. We ordered a 14-inch half combo and half pepperoni. It was ready in their estimated 30 minutes. The toppings were piled so high we had to pull some off. Even then, 2 slices per person were quite filling. It was also very salty. I didn't see this in other reviews, and I wonder if it was the "seasoning" they offered to add. The service was quick and friendly. read more

Kids didn't like the crust of the regular pizza and everyone refused to eat the breadsticks so those are going in the garbage also. I paid $40 for a large pizza with mojo potatoes, but honestly the quality tasted like gas station Pizza. The taste was good. Not the best though. The pizza was greasy causing it to be soggy. Only the crust was crunchy but quickly became soggy. I don't know about you, but I hate when I pick up a warm piece of pizza and more than half the toppings slide right off! That's what this pizza does. It was a 45 min wait for one medium combination #2 pizza. $32 with two ranches ($1 each) and two sodas. Stingy with the peppers and cheese as well. They had extra fees that I was not aware of like a "to go fee". Overall, I wouldn't say it was worth it. I could have gotten a more delicious meal with more food for that price. read more

Reminds me of a pizza place that shall remain nameless in Portland. If you like sparse artisan wood fired pizza this isn't your spot. If you like massive toppings, great crust, and amazingly prepared pizza this might be for you. This isn't the pizza for everyone but it's for the hearty pizza lover. Don't get me wrong I like pizza of all sorts including this and the artisan style but if you aren't prepared for this you may not be ready. Great pizza, friendly staff, reminds me of the pizza parlors of the past in a good way. They have pizza, calzone, jojo's, salad bar is closed due to Covid. Small but nice beer taps. They offer thick crust, which is regular crust yo me, thin and extra thin. Can accommodate larger groups, imagine it's popular during summer sports and kids teams and could be busy. We've been several times recently and hasn't been too busy. Seems like they do a lot of take out and the average wait for a pizza has been 25 minutes. Have a beer and it seems like 15. This place was super busy with to go orders. I was disappointed because I came here very hungry, ordered my small pizza and one beer and went to my table to wait for my meal. An hour and six minutes later I finally got my pizza. I got a to go box because it had taken so long and I was exhausted. I think I only got my food because I went to the counter to ask if they'd accidentally forgotten my order. Staff told me there's always an hour and a half wait for their pizza. I wish someone had told me that when I'd ordered, because I certainly would not have wasted that much time here. Mediocre pizza, LOOOOOOONG wait. Came in midweek around 6:30. Absolutely dead, zero customers at tables, one person at the bar. Thought we'd give it a try, as the food was supposed to be good. Bartender saw us right away, didn't appear to be busy. Waited patiently for menus which never came. After a few minutes, waitress emerged from the back, saw us, washed her hands then went into the kitchen. Waited for approx 10 minutes then decided to leave.
