My wife and I had a salad & wood fired pizza at noon yesterday (Saturday 8/8/2026). We enjoyed it, and their staff were polite & helpful. I'm partially disabled, so it was nice to be able to use their ramp for my walker to get inside. They have outside seating too. You go in, place your order, are assigned a table & given a number; then your order is brought to your table. We especially liked the way they fixed up this old Church, built in 1912 ( It is the oldest Church building in Redmond, and second oldest in Deschutes County). read more

You know what was amazing - besides the pizza - was the staff!! Everyone was so personable. But the winner was the young man (large earrings and he loved my colorful earrings) who was simply AWESOME!! Come for the pizza but have fun visiting with the nicest server on the planet! read more

Such a cool building! The pizza was pretty good, but the fried mozzarella and the lemonade really stole the show for me. The service was decently quick and there were no issues. read more

Pizza is very good, with a nicely fire roasted crisp crust. The wait on a Friday night was about 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Be aware the kitchen gets backed up with on line orders, and last Friday there was a group of 18 who seemed to get their pizzas way ahead of us, even tho they arrived 30 minutes after we placed our order?! read more

When I moved here last October I was looking for a good artisan pizza. Couldn't find it until I stumbled upon this wonderful place!! From the very 1st time I walked in I was welcomed by staff and soon felt very special and recognized when I went in . It was always for a take away pizza but I really enjoyed chatting with the staff at the bar as I waited. Moving, and will mice this place and the pizza!!! read more

Grace and Hammer - Delicious Smithy!! - Pizza Near Me - Redmond, Oregon

Ever since new owners bought Grace and Hammer earlier this year, it's not the same. Food takes FOREVER .... You should expect to wait 30-40 minutes after you order, even if the restaurant is not crowded. It's just the way it is now. The ambiance is different too.... It's just not the same. read more

Pizza was good, the location was good and the people were all very nice. It's a good patio to sit on, but the price for what you receive is kind of lacking. read more

Always sad to see an old church no longer serving the community. Grace and Hammer is 6 years in business and pretty good! The history of the church is very cool and fun that the new owners have old photos in the entrance. Step - 1 order your food THEN SIT DOWN, apparently if you're outta order, service is not happy with you Good pizza, wings and caprese for the whole family. Cocktails, beers , milk for the kids and more. read more

First - Great pizza But......The classic, a poor employee can ruin a great business. My wife and her 88 year old disabled father sat at an outside table while the rest of us went inside to order food. There were multiple open tables. An employee then told my father in law and wife that they had a rule that you had to order first before getting a table. My wife explained her father was disabled, he showed the employee his cane, and explained he couldn't make it up the stairs ( The restaurant is in an old church with only stairs to access the interior) The employee then restated that they have a rule about not sitting at the tables. She then got his wife's name to "check" if they were in line. This lady then found his 86 year old wife in line and quizzed her about her "party" outside and lectured her about their rule about ordering first (while she was in line ordering !!!!!) I get your restaurant has "rules" but are you that dumb to harass disabled 80 year olds when there are a bunch of open tables!!!!! I understand you might have people from the taco truck across the street camping out - but obviously my folks are not camping - especially when you caught his wife in line ordering food !!! This wrecked our night - as we were furious over this hallway monitor flexing on paying customers. Sad for the business owners as my folks will never come back. #ADA https://www.oregon.gov/boli/civil-rights/pages/disability-rights.aspx "Oregon laws protect you from being discriminated against at work, in housing, and at places that do business with the public." read more

G&H is truly unique. Delicious wood-fired pizza in an old church? What's more legendary than that. If you're roadtripping through Redmond or visiting from Bend, you should def add Grace and Hammer to your list. Yes, it's pizza, beer, and a small selection of tasty dessert/pastry treats. But you'll stay for the ambiance. Though the church building itself is historic and old, the reno has provided a modernized and clean experience. None of that typical musky church smell. The freshness of their pizzas is clear in taste from the very first bite. There's tons of street parking and outdoor picnic table seating, so bring all the parties and groups. Dogs allowed outside only, so make sure you leave your pup outside when you go in to order. The line moves quick, and they have paper menus for you to look at right when you walk in. Beers are delicious. And it looks like they have a full selection of specialty cocktails. How rad! My favorite part is the fresh and local ingredients used. The Propriety pizza was calling OUT to me. Bechamel sauce, mozz, goat feta, shrooms + arugula are always a fab choice. Pizza dough is on the thinner side, and the toppings are light-handed which is great if you're into not feeling absolutely gorged after your carb load. You bus your own utensils afterwards, and they have boxes for you to grab if you're taking things to go. Restrooms are clean and unisex, and employees are smiley and welcoming. For sure a memorable pit stop! read more

First time diners but on a scale of 1-10 it's clearLY s 5 barely. the service was NOT GOOD at all we ordered drinks when we went up to the counter and then they never came and we had to go up to the counter and ask where they were and we were told. Oops they made a mistake given to Somebody else so even we got our drinks. Meanwhile, we were there at least 20 minutes and nobody had even taken our order for food. meanwhile, the staff of about six people were hanging around and talking behind the counter, obviously not having enough to do? The pizza itself when it came was really light on ingredients it was disappointing though the crust was good if you're going to charge a lot of money for a 12 inch pizza you should put some ingredients on it We were disappointed with the whole process and we had really been looking forward to trying this place as we were new in town. we won't be returning probably for a long time. It's too much money for two little and bad service. read more

Good quality ingredients with a flare for a unique flavor. If you want top shelf, here it is. It's good to have a quality pizzeria nearby.

I created a yelp account to make this review. We arrived at 6:00 pm on a Saturday, two hours after they had opened. There was a long line of other patrons that almost was going out the door. Once we got to the register, we attempted to order an appetizer but were told they had sold out of it. We placed our pizza order and then waited 40 minutes to get seated at a table. This wait time was probably due to the fact that they were an hour behind on their orders. We finally were seated at 6:40 and our pizza arrived at 7:15. I asked my girlfriend if the pizza was worth waiting an hour and 15 minutes for and we both agreed it was not. They do seem to get takeout orders in and out within a reasonable time, but otherwise I would not come back to dine in here. There are plenty of other places that make pizza just as good and do it with much better customer service. read more

It ain't Sunday but I'm in church baby. And it was no short of holy, no Swiss. That crust indiscriminate to my tastebuds. Blessed every single one . The mozz was to die for... then come back 3 days later for some more. Last time in Redmond, talk about a last supper. Ironic to be so gluttonous in a holy place, forgive me father for I have siiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnned . If I had to compare it to a horse I would say it's a fricken stallion . Nayyyyy! Put on your best clothes, we're going to church baby ! read more

Grace and Hammer - Pizza Near Me - Redmond, Oregon

We are long term customers who historically speaking have been very satisfied with the substance and quality of the pizza at the Grace and Hammer. Today we were profoundly disappointed and may chose to not ever return....The Prodigal Pig had several slivers of pickled red onion, there was no evidence of pineapple slaw, we were unable to detect any Korean kalbi sauce and there were only several traces of pulled pork. The toppings were almost nonexistent. The Anvil looked like a stand alone cheese pizza. We failed to locate even one piece of sausage, mushrooms or onions. read more

Grace and Hammer has an amazing vibe! The building is amazing (inside & outside), the G&H team are top notch, and the intentional artisan pizza deliciousness is 5 stars! Oh and the smokiness of the wings are like nothing we have had before - Yum! read more

I was in town for the weekend and was craving good artisan pizza. After looking at a few places on Yelp, Grace & Hammer had one that sounded really good, for a decent price, and I could order online. I ordered the Belltower and added prosciutto for pick-up. I arrived a few minutes early and had time to admire the location and the true wood fire oven at work. The space is gorgeous with several seating areas inside and out. The only concern was that I couldn't easily spot an ADA access and the main stairs are a little steep. All of the workers I interacted with were very friendly. I took my steamy hot pizza back to the rental house and got ready to binge a show and enjoy the pizza. Sadly, by the time I sat down it was just sorta warm. I could have warmed it up but I didn't want to ruin the amazing crust. I sat and ate the whole dang pizza! It was so incredibly delicious, even at room temperature. I don't normally eat the crust and am known for just eating the toppings but there was nothing left. It was chewy and a little tangy with a bit of smokiness. The white sauce with the tang of artichoke and olives were a nice complement and kept each bite lively. This is a great place and I will definitely make sure to visit again the next time I'm in Redmond! read more

We got the Saint Stanley while in Redmond on vacation. Hiked Smith Rock then when we got back to our hotel felt like pizza. G&H had the best Yelp reviews so we thought we'd try it. Very good pizza. Can't go wrong with the purist pizza. It tastes like summer. Definitely go try it you won't be disappointed. read more

We visited this restaurant previously and had a good experience. Our pizza was good too. They were not busy at that time so the whole place was pretty much empty. We had our choice of tables. Our grandaughter wanted to have pizza there this past Friday evening. There were multiple empty tables inside. I tried to sit down as I had a bad knee(72) and a female employee told me I could not while my family was in line following their rules that you had to order first so I got up and joined them in line. In the front of the line I asked a very nice guy if I could have a number and could we have a particular table. He told me yes (gave me the number so I proceeded to sit down. This lady once again told me I could not have that table (no reserved sign nothing) I had to stand in line. When I tried to talk she told me she did not tolerate lip service and told me I was about to get our whole party thrown out! She told me I could sit at the bench at the back in the entryway!! I was polite. That is no way to treat customers so our party of five left and went to the taco truck. read more

Truly the best pizza in all of central Oregon. I have eaten here numerous times now & each time I've tried a new pizza. I've loved every single pizza so far. Get whatever your forte for pizza is & i promise you won't regret it. Since the pizzas are wood-fired it can take a little time to get to the table but worth the wait. Very cool that the restaurant is in an old historic church that's been in Redmond for many years. The owners kept the church vibe & even some of the original items. read more

Ordered a couple of pies for take out while on vacation in Eagle Crest. Such a cool little spot in Redmond. Beautiful old church converted to a gorgeous wood-fired pizza joint. I did have to wait a little extra for my order because they were slammed, but I didn't mind too much because it was cool to see the pies get made and people watch. Loved the tee-shirt slogan "Holy Pizza!" The pizzas were delicious. Recommend the Benevolent Bird and Prodigal Pig. Will definitely return the next time we're in the Bend area. read more

Very cool atmosphere! Grace and Hammer is located in an old church, stained glass window and all. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and have a few seats at the bar as well. We ordered at the counter and sat inside. We split a salad and two pizzas since they only come in 12in sizes. We got 1 margerita pizza and one with pesto and chicken. I love this type of pizza! Crispy bottom, fluffy crust, and the toppings were fresh. Friendly service too! Definitely recommend a visit here if you're in the area. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, temperature outside in the 90s. Nice, cool, air-conditioned former church converted to a pizza restaurant. Good selection of craft beers on tap, friendly servers, no rush to order. We had the Integrity Pie (mozzarella and red sauce) with added olives and mushrooms. Traditional wood-fired pizza, great crust, great cheese, great olives and mushrooms. The style reminded me of a Neopolitan pie in Italy. read more

The service was friendly and atmosphere fun / different. The caprese salad was yummy and the chicken wings were good as well- smoked then fried. We ordered the Willie, which was OK, but wouldn't order it again. The Benevolent Bird was good but needed more meat/ toppings (was skimpy). Overall, both pizzas could use more toppings for the price. We had the Crooked Halo and Bloody Mary, both of which were great and we would order again. read more

Very cool place. Still has a lot of the original features of the church. The service was great. The Benevolent pizza was excellent. Great flavor, great balance and not heavy. Overall everything tasted really good. A suggestion if you order pizza with their fresh mozzarella, ask them to cook the top a bit extra. All of ours came out half melted and slightly stiff slabs of mozzarella. The wings are tasty and made really well, but by no means are they JUMBO. The buffalo sauce doesn't taste like a buffalo sauce, but was still delicious. Just not what I was expecting. They're normal size wings you'd get anywhere' else. The big roll ups open in winter make the whole place a bit chilly and your food gets cold quick. read more
