Lovely service and we were seated immediately. Ordered 4 pizzas (one was kids size) for 2 adults, 2 pre-teens and an 8 year old. Started with a Caesar salad which was standard and good. Appreciated that the dressing was on the side without having to ask. Pizzas were ok but the gluten-free was amazing for being GF. This place was a great surprise. We actually didn't get any pizzas, but the pasta we had was some of the best we've ever had, and we've been to Italy four times. I had the shrimp spetzia which was phenomenal and my wife had the garlic mushroom Alfredo which was also great. To go order pizza & pasta. Paid $34 bc I added chicken & shrimp. Outrageously small order of pasta. It had 2pieces shrimp, NO chicken. What the hell? For the prices you're charging this is ridiculous. The pizza is tiny, nothing to write home about. They charged an additional $10 for shrimp and chicken, they only gave me 2 of 5 shrimp and NO chicken for my pasta! I ordered it carry out and when I went to pick it up, the restaurant was empty save for one couple leaving that dined in. So, being busy wasn't even an excuse for messing up this order. The early reviews of this place intrigued me, 1. that people couldn't show a little grace and 2. the owner, who responded politely and professionally. Visited on a Sunday in February, excellent service and food was great. Another busy, more popular option in the village was a disappointment, but this spot was a nice reprieve. We almost just gave up and went into Bend this evening, glad we tried it out! We had the Brooklyn Girl and Chicken Carbonara Pizza and Uncle Frank's Bolognese. Pasta was al dente, Bolognese sauce was seasoned and flavorful. Pizza toppings fresh, baked perfectly. Service was fantastic, we were warmly welcomed and invited to sit wherever we pleased. Our server was friendly and attentive, couldn't ask for better. Will eat here again, from the food and service we had,, this place is well cared for! read more

We decided on campfire because it appeared to be a thinner style crust over blondies pizza which we prefer. They do have a deal for 2 pizzas if you order online to go to make it cheaper. I was sad to see that my favorite spot in Sunriver had closed (The Fold) but Campfire looked pretty good. There was only 3 review, 2 negative and 1 positive. Based on the neg reviews and the owner response, we decided to give them a try (clearly one of the negative ones was a Karen who didn't tell the whole story), which the owner filled in the gap. Yes, a little pricey but just what I expected in Sunriver. Everything was super fresh, high quality and delicious! Our server was amazing, she had refills dropped before we were ever out of drinks. Friendly, managing a lot of tables and never dropped one ball for anyone she was serving. 11/10 for her! -Meatballs 4.5/5 -Seasonal salad, romaine, Gorgonzola, dried cherries and cranberries w/prosecco dressing 5/5 -Uncles pasta 4.5/5 -eggplant Parm special 4/5 We had serious FOMO looking at the pizzas at the tables around us. First off, I am not giving low stars here because I feel like this is a flaw in the system that could be rectified. Based on this experience I would give 1 star, However, yelp is not fair to businesses most of the time. Here is my review: Online ordering is awful, the quotes for times were 20-25 minutes for "ASAP", reasonable for sure. Then when checking out the screen says, "30-35", annoying, but not a huge deal. I put in my order around 6:04 for one penne pasta dish with meat balls and a side of Alfredo. ~$34 dollars before tip. Husband shows up to pick up my order around the 40min mark and they said another 20 minutes! He was already running late to meet this family and just asked for a refund. They said they couldn't do that and we had to do a cancellation online. There is no option for cancellation or refund online. This should be addressed. If you refuse to have call in orders then it is on you for your customer service. If you chose to use a "third party" system for ordering that is on you to make right. The manager finally said "I'll just make real quick because it's so simple", if it is really that simple why did it take so long? And with not a word on how sorry they are. You need to figure out a different online ordering system or don't offer it at all. The food is decent clearly home made and the meatballs definitely homemade! Pretty good! I just expect some genuine customer service and figuring out how to fix the third party orders. read more

*no vegan cheese* Friendly staff, delicious pizza! However, no vegan / dairy free cheeze so we had a pizza with red sauce, veggies and garlic. It was still good, and we added our own at home and broiled it to get it melted - but was mislead by another review saying they did have vegan cheese, must have taken it off the menu recently. Disappointing as there is no vegan pizza option in Sunriver, anywhere. Also, they would not sell us a pizza with no toppings, or just the dough, to make a vegan pizza at home. Bad service and bad pizza. Was excited to try this place which is new since last time we were at SR. Made the mistake of believing a review that called it "Neapolitan" when it is nothing of the sort weird crunch more like bad frozen pizza or those pre-made bases you get at grocery store. Ingredients slopped on there. Weren't tasty. No customers at prime eating time should have been a clue so no ambiance and thus being busy no excuse for poor result. Getting your friends, presumably, to write 5 star reviews can backfire when the actual experience and service are trash. read more

We arrived at 4 O'clock and the doors were open we walked in and we were told they weren't open till 4 30 I said on there website it says 4 O'clock. He said your wrong very rude so we decided to go somewhere else. We will not go there again . Great place!! Great pizza. We have a large family with multiple pizza preferences. Campfire was recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint any of us. We even had special pizza (off the menu) made for a family member with "delicate GI issues" that equally did not disappoint. Absolutely no doubt we will be back. We went there excited to try the pizza. We love the atmosphere in the waitress and everyone there was very friendly. We got our cider quickly, which we appreciated. we ordered the garlic bread as an appetizer. It was really good just recommend maybe some marinara sauce. I asked to have the pizza half-and-half. The waitress informed us that you couldn't do that. That was the only part we didn't understand otherwise very enjoyable. read more

The locals come all year. People on fixed incomes cannot afford your prices. Maybe senior discounts could be applied. Two plates pasta with marinara sauce, 2 children's plates of pasta with marinara sauce, 1 12 inch pizza, two toppings, 4 sodas= Almost $150.00 with tip. 3). Pasta was not even luke warm. Marinara sauce bland, watery and no flavor. 4). A 12 inch pizza. Burnt. Sauce had no flavor. When married to an Italian and learning to cook from his mom who could make an old shoe taste good, you know how it should taste. We will try again in a few months. read more

Tried out this new spit and it didn't disappoint. My wife and I agreed it's the best pizza in central Oregon. I love the family feel and a lot of pasta options as well. The Caesar salad was pretty epic as well. There has never been a restaurant in sun river that gets us down that way (we just go wherever and expect high prices and mediocrity) until this spot.
