Hubby informed employee of his severe nut allergy and we were happy to learn that the only things that contains nut is their sour cream and peanut butter rub used for their seitan ribz. After looking at the menu for a few minutes, and seeing the list of ingredients for their vegan mac 'n cheeze sauce, I ordered the St. Louis Style Ribz with mac 'n cheeze and a special vegan Cuban sandwich with kettle chips while hubby ordered the classic mac 'n cheeze with tempeh. Polite staff check. Food arrived on time check. Food cart pod having a great atmosphere and chill patio with plenty of seating CHECK. Now I had intended to have dinner HERE until I found a vegan option that I was really wanting at another cart. My husband, mom, son and daughter as well as two of my daughter's friends ALL had Lively. Everyone liked it. No one LOVED it and I tasted everything but the kid burritos and was completely underwhelmed. The burritos/wraps were primarily stuffed with 2/3 lettuce and 1/3 the rest. It didn't have much flavor OR flavor difference between the BLT and spicy buffalo chicken wrap. That is an issue for me. Lastly I hated the nachos. I know. Strong words. But I did. They sucked. The chips themselves were like those AWFUL 90's and early 2000's movie theater chips. Dreadful and stale tasting. The best part of the nachos was the jalapenos. Just hard pass on those all together. Also they were absolutely massive. MASSIVE. Like 2 people couldn't have shared them. More like 4. While my family "liked" it (which to me is 3 stars but service and atmosphere give the extra,) you can't get 5 for the food just being meh. read more

Maybe there's a photo of the menu at the Bend location I missed. I'm glad we waited to order until getting to the food cart since there were more menu items at the cart than I saw on their website. I ordered the Krabby Patty sandwich, upgrading my side to Grandma's Potato Salad. My husband had the BLT sandwich, upgraded his side to Mac 'N Cheeze. In the end, we kept sharing both sides - they were SO good! The cheeziness of the Mac was oozy goodness without being heavy. The potato salad had the perfect amount of creaminess, dill, crunch from the celery and onions...I'm salivating just thinking about it. The Krabby Patty was a nice thick patty and lightly crab-esque in texture and flavor. The cajun remoulade was what really made the sandwich WOW. If I get to go back, I'd be happy to get the Krabby Mac, which seems the perfect combination of those two dishes (and a side of the potato salad!). Not to forget the BLT...my husband thought it was perfect in its simplicity. It had the right amount of vegan bacon with the other components inside. Stoked over this find! Was in town for the Holiday weekend and found this gem of deliciousness! Hubs and I both got their top selling combo of spicy chick'n sandwich with potato salad. Sandwich was perfectly crispy with a mouth watering toasted bun, slaw and sweet spicy pickles. The potato salad tops the P.S. charts in my opinion, perfectly balanced with creamy dill and crunch! One of our favorite local spots in Bend. We've now been twice (once about a 18 months ago, and tonight). This food truck is located in a little space with 5 or so others surrounding a few tables and fire pits. They offer a vegan menu (that seems to have grown in size since our first visit) and the staff are super friendly. Our favorite items include the vegan Mac, the ribs (best meat alternative we've had) and the cornbread. My non-vegan boyfriend excitedly described this as his favorite food in Bend. Fell short of expectations... I don't normally write reviews but we were very disappointed. I really wanted to believe the reviews but we have traveled all over the country and tried many vegan restaurants and this food truck just didn't fit the bill. The Mac and cheese tasted like nooch and tomatoes. The ribs were just okay. A good rib needs a good BBQ sauce not just catchup on top. The crabbie app was just a mushy tasteless blob but on the plus side the siracha sauce was amazing, so was the cornbread but for what we spent we had hoped for more than edible. read more

Amazing place! I don't normally do food trucks, but Lively Up Yourself, I will. Even if vegan dishes aren't your thing, you'll love this place. Their Buffalo and BBQ Mac and Cheese is incredible. They have the cheeze perfected. Perfect portions, great prices. The owners are so cool. The only suggestion I have is ask for a spoon, because a fork just slows you down. I was in Bend Oregon for a wedding and my daughter found this place. We will now most likely go back to Bend JUST to hang out in this neighborhood and eat at Lively Up Yourself. Ya need to try it. Had high hopes for this place, but our dish was a miss. Split the vegan mac and cheese, and added a slice of bacon. The pasta texture was great and the bacon was tasty but the sauce was SO sweet, like way too sweet! I've tried tons of vegan macs and everyone has personal preferences but there was no "cheese" element to this, my mom couldn't eat hers and I ended up throwing most of mine away. This plate was so delicious! All their food is plant based. This looked small but I couldn't even finish half so I will have it as a dinner meal too. The bbq Mac bowl is Mac and cheese with ribz on top of it. The menu is outside in front of their food truck. The price is a bit pricey for each plate but the food is worth it. I also ordered a vanilla shake but didn't take a photo. The drink is small but very heavy. The drink was good too. I was overall happy with my meal here. The meal didn't not take that long. They have a bell to ring or knock on the window if they're not there. They had a bottle of hand sanitizer out available for customers. The employee was friendly during our interactions. Dr. Neal Barnard has done years of research on high carb/low fat vegan lifestyle and this way of eating lowers your risk of numerous diseases. So, so glad finally stopped to find and check this little gem out! Always excited to check out new vegan options in town and have found a new favorite breakfast grab and go! I got breakfast to go for the fam since it was a bit chilly out. However, she does have a nice touch patio heater that kept me warm while waiting for the grub. My husband got the breakfast burrito and I shared the tofu Benedict with my daughter. Both were so good! Burrito was big and had a good blend of flavors. The homemade sausage was yummy! The Benedict also was a good size for me to share with kiddo. It was the best vegan Benedict I've had, and I've had quite a few over the years. The owner, Sarah, was super friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. It was a bit challenging to find, but now that I know where it is, I'll be back for sure. Holy shit, their vegan ribs are good. I am not a vegetarian, but my wife is, and we both love the way they do their ribs. If you are a meat eater, I would recommend you try this place, just to know how good vegan ribs can be. They are made out of jackfruit and seitan. Don't expect something that tastes exactly like meat ribs (they don't). Think of this as just another kind of ribs and you will not be disappointed. read more
