Had to literally scream my order because it was "loud" inside so I started off out of sorts. Special sandwich said "Comes with fries!" and it was a little disconcerting when he listed out the non-fry sides instead... heaven forbid I ask a question that I'd have to yell. Anyhoo, meals came out, fairly small sandwich but decent amount of salad. Few tablespoons of beans and about 1/4c slaw on the plate. Beans looked fab, but were undercooked and under-zesty. Slaw was pretty much cabbage tossed with apple cider vinegar. Brisket was falling apart but had a strange texture. It was like smoked corned beef or something, very odd, bit slimy almost. Everyone else was ordering onion rings and fries. Baskets and baskets of them. Frozen pre-made (I could see inside the truck when they got the baggies out), probably the way to go. ;) Really quite sad because the latest reviews sound amazing. But we'll never go back. Which is also sad because we LOVE Bridge 99. p.s. No one in the cart was wearing a mask. Aren't they required to do that these days?? I mean, they didn't before so I'm not overly concerned but every other eating establishment in town I've seen has masks. read more

Great BBQ in Oregon is few and far between. This place hits the nail right on the head. I Stopped in for lunch because I saw it was close to where I worked. Everything I had was amazing. I had the opportunity to meet Gary and his crew at a horse show in Tumalo. He was there the whole week, which gave me a chance to sample his menu. Gary has a real passion for bbq and making people happy through his food. He's not one of those guys that wants to keep everything a secret either. You ask him what's in it? And he'll tell you. His ribs are so meaty and moist and full of flavor! The pulled pork is wonderful! The chicken was moist and had lots of flavor. It was good, but wouldnt be my first choice. But, that's just me. The asparagus spears are "out of this world GOOD!" I'm not an asparagus fan, but I had them twice! Way to go Gary. Your on to something!!! read more

Stopped by Porter Brewing in Redmond and they have a Bad Boys food cart there so we split the Brisket Melt Sandwich for lunch and it was amazing and enough for two. In previous visits to Porter Brewing I have seen the menu for Bad Boys but was not impressed but they now have new cooks and menu and it looks great, can't wait to try other things on the menu. Bad Boys BBQ exceeded our expectations! We had them for our wedding day and for our rehearsal dinner the day before! Every guest was amazed by their food! I am so happy we chose Bad Boys BBQ! Gary will literally cook you anything you want! We had BBQ for the wedding day and for our rehearsal dinner, we had him make us Italian food. This consisted of bread sticks, fettuccine pasta with chicken and shrimp, lasagna and a salad. It was soooo good! They delivered it on site and it was hot and ready to go along with all the utensils. For the wedding day, Gary and his crew were so organized; I didn't have to worry about a thing! The food was displayed so beautifully and they were so kind to my guests as they served them the dishes. We had chicken, tri-tip, pulled pork, baked beans, Caesar salad and potato salad. And an amazing selection of sauces!!! We had 35 people for the rehearsal dinner and 175 guests for the wedding which was the following day! They seriously treat you like family! For tastings, they invited us into their home to enjoy the meal at their own dinner table. My guests really appreciated the family/local atmosphere they provided during the wedding. We received multiple compliments throughout the night about not only how great the food tasted but also how nice they were and they were so personal too. Such a pleasure getting to know Gary and Cindy! We will definitely be using their services again in the future for any large party event or just when we are craving Gary's cooking! Very displeased with the food. The staff was nice. Very dry chicken skewers. Brisket was OK nothing to brag about.. Burger was very dry and had horrible flavor. Curly fries are good. Breakfast burrito was good, just very small for what you pay for. All the meats have the same flavor from the chicken, brisket, and burger. They have different sauces you can put on the food. But if you do BBQ right you shouldn't need sauces. I guess you might because the meat is so dry. To top it all off I got very sick after eating it at an event I attended. If you are looking for some authentic bbq in the northwest this is the spot. Like all BBQ spots in central Oregon the meat is covered in too much sauce to mask the flavor or possibly make the meat appear moist. NOBODY DOES IT BETTER! Superb food and service. Our son's graduation party was a huge success in part due to Cindy and Gary Dale, owners of Bad Boys BBQ! The food arrived steamy hot & on time. Get the brisket! Gary's BBQ sauces are to die for. SO MANY compliments! Not just BBQ. We had the stuffed zucchini boats, shredded pork sliders, macaroni salad, Cole slaw and Gary's super macaroni & cheese and salmon mousse endive leaves. Enjoyed tasting the different types of meats and sauces while making a decision about which caterer to use, and loved the concept of building your own barbeque to suit your tastes. Cindy and Gary were nice and had good ideas for us. But on my daughter's wedding day, they showed up less than half an hour before guests. They didn't communicate with us that they were running late. Set up was visible behind the ceremony, so we had hoped it would be finished before everyone arrived. Our plan was to start food service immediately after the ceremony, but had to find "filler" activities while they finished setting up. They ran out of everything but meat before everyone was served. We were at a venue outside of town, so it was impossible to find food to fill in. Thank goodness 16 people (out of 125 we paid for) didn't show, or even more people would have missed out. Sadly, food is a huge deal in a wedding. We counted on them and they let us down. read more
