Food was amazingly delicious. The ribs were so tender, they fell right off the bone. So good. Will be back again.

Door dash review; My dasher provided a good service. Ok, sooo, my first thought was I should've got more ribs, I'm real, sorry, I thought the value wasn't there.... But then, I ate them, lol, and then I thought again, I should've got more ribs, but the value was there. So I felt good about the purchase. Do I recommend Baldy's? Yes. Would I order their food again? Yes. Btw, I love their spicy bbq sauce, seriously. Yum Fall off the bone ribs

Stopped in for lunch. It's a very casual atmosphere. We ordered mixed greens salad, sweet potato fries, mac & cheese, and a brisket and ribs platter with honey jalapeño cornbread and coleslaw. Most of the food was good (I don't recommend the mac & cheese), generous portions, and fresh. The service was good as well.

    Open faced sandwich was delicious

Food was perfect priced reasonable good service outside seating great experience. I highly recommend the burnt ends. The onion rings were cooked Perfectly. Mac & cheese was creamy. I have nothing bad to say our server. Went by Elvis he was great

Ribs and brisket combo with beans and jalapeño cornbread. (I had a couple bites of the brisket before thinking to get the picture.)

Last night I showed up half an hour before closing. I was a little concerned that they would be closing up shop. However, not only did I get spectacular service, but the food was amazing. I ordered the ribs and brisket combo with beans and jalapeño cornbread. Everything was extremely flavorful and the meats had the perfect level of smoke. The ribs were tender and came right off the bone. I was asked if I wanted the brisket lean or fatty or a combination. I got the combination and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean, simple and well appointed. Music and decorations were homey but not kitschy. Just right. I would recommend this simple, no-nonsense, great service and spectacular food restaurant to everyone.

I can't believe this place only has 3.5 stars, we are from SoCal and pay 30+ bucks for baby back ribs. Baldy's baby back's are so fringen delicious, coleslaw and their beans are outstanding. I feel like the competition comes in here and gives them bad reviews, I hate to see this please blow up but well deserved and then I would have to wait an hour or two for my ribs. Tell em Don sent you, maybe a dollar off your beer( maybe)

    Wet Brisket sandwich

Visiting Bend, Baldy's is a small place with even fewer parking spots available. Brisket sandwich was packed with great tasting wet brisket, with a side of potatoes Au gratin. The entire meal tasted great, did not eat the bread, didn't want a full platter of brisket, so it was just the right size. Others had the Mac and cheese with brisket and the Baldy Burger, which also tasted very good. The service was awesome even though we came in an hour before closing time and a large party of 8+ ordering ahead of us, the food still came out pretty quick. Prices are in line for bbq and we would visit again if we are ever in the area. Not a fan of the original bbq sauce, more on the vinegary side, which I do not prefer, but am sure others do. Still a place we'd recommend.

The best ribs, brisket & pulled pork I've had EVER! Talk about moist pulled pork! Rib meat falls of the bones with the perfect char! Brisket so flavorful! The sides were all delicious! AMAZING must have!

The prime rib was dismal. Tough as boot leather and sitting in a plate of au jus that looks like dishwasher they cleaned the grill in.

The bartender let me try two but that was my preference. The pretzel was delicious. I'm not a huge beer cheese fan but it was hot and delicious with the mustard around the outside. We were curious about the cask beer which apparently is warm (or room temperature) and flat- not what you look for normally in a beer! The nice bartender let us try it just out of curiosity- not for me! I'd come back to try lunch or dinner.

Yay! It was the best veggie burger my husband has had in a long time... he added avocado and vegan cheese (which did make it a bit pricey). Awesome that you can do many different sides including regular fries, Cajun fries, salad, chips, and more options... do wish they had onion rings however. I got the hummus plate which was good but not the best I've had. It came with a baguette which was more like garlic bread so I would have, personally, liked pita more. It also had a few olives on the side with a red pepper type sauce. I got it with no pickled onions. They had a great beer selection and even a few tasty non-alcoholic beers. Also had kombucha on tap which was delicious (from Humm). Everyone working was super sweet and the vibes were relaxed and casual. Our food came out quick and exactly how we ordered it. They also seemed to have spaces for larger parties, too. They also have a little gift shop if you wanted to pick anything from shirts, to bottle openers, to beer candles and more! Would come back again!

Serves food and also may have a food truck open. Our last visit we enjoyed the bowl of chili and Caesar salad was all A-OK. The staff was helpful even when busy. Interesting to note, it's like all the beer drinker mt bike folks that used to all come here years ago just happened to grow up and have kids at once, so now it definitely has a very kids playground scene, but I still think it's cool here. (Just go inside to avoid the mayhem. lol!) It's sweet that they create a fun environment outside there. A suggestion maybe would be create a small section outside. that's a no kid table for sunshine and drinking too. ;) it looks like they're making good use of their space. I noticed many changes since the last visit. Looks like they have a party room you could rent, lots of fun well designed swag for purchase, ect. I spent a week in Bend and there are SO many great places to relax and have an awesome beer, this place is definitely one of the best around! I have been doing "beertender's choice" flights almost everywhere I went this week but here, I just stuck to what I like. I got 3 West coast IPAs and one imperial. They understand this style and knock it out of the (their own) park! Today the "Grade A" did it for me and the 1/2 hitch was an excellent stronger option. It will be a while before I return (500 miles from home) but if you live in, or are traveling through the area, definitely give'em a try!

We started with a beautiful bottle of Domaine Serene 2021 Pinot Noir... smooth, elegant, and the perfect pairing for everything that followed. I started with mussels and clams (seafood will always be my first pick) and scallops for my husband--both were incredible. For the main event, I had the blackened redfish (SO good) which is the best I have had outside of New Orleans and the steak lover went all in on the ribeye... and let's just say there were zero leftovers! Every bite was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect, and the best part? Our server Emily never missed a beat all night! If you're in Bend and looking for a fantastic night out--this is your spot. The menu isn't very large and I think we both settled on choices quickly, deciding to try the most "quintessential" entrees to share. I chose the Blackened Redfish, and my boyfriend the Jambalaya. Even though we had already decided, the waitress went on her whole spiel through the menu highlights, including what we had already had planned to order. Awkward, but it was fine, and we didn't stray from our original choices. The Blackened Redfish was perfectly cooked and flaky. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes with a slightly tangy sauce. All of it was tasty, but I was a bit disappointed in the lack of spice to the blackening seasoning and the sauce. Also, serving it on grits instead of mashed potatoes would have made it feel 100% more Cajun, even with lack of seasoning. The Jambalaya fared a bit better, although my boyfriend was also left puzzled by the lack of spice to this classic dish. In all ways it was a very good representation of New Orleans style red jambalaya, with the andouille sausage being particularly notable for flavor. The cornbread it came with was pretty good. We shared a piece of chocolate cake for dessert. A very decadent concoction of chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel. It was one of the better $12 slices of cake I've had. Overall? The service was good, if not a bit awkward with the menu spiel. The food was all very well prepared, but for a Cajun style restaurant they sure could stand to spice things up a bit. It's not cheap, but at least the entrees are a full sized meal and you don't have to order many "tiny plates" to cobble together a dinner.
