Visiting Bend, Baldy's is a small place with even fewer parking spots available.
Brisket sandwich was packed with great tasting wet brisket, with a side of potatoes Au gratin. The entire meal tasted great, did not eat the bread, didn't want a full platter of brisket, so it was just the right size. Others had the Mac and cheese with brisket and the Baldy Burger, which also tasted very good. The service was awesome even though we came in an hour before closing time and a large party of 8+ ordering ahead of us, the food still came out pretty quick. Prices are in line for bbq and we would visit again if we are ever in the area.
Not a fan of the original bbq sauce, more on the vinegary side, which I do not prefer, but am sure others do. Still a place we'd recommend. read more
