Decent size of chicken bites and an absolutely massive portion of fries. I had their spicy bbq sauce which is great, just the right balance of sweet and spicy. We had lunch today at the CurbBBQ food truck at the "On Tap" food truck lot on the east side of Bend. I would definitely give it a 5++ star rating! Service was prompt and excellent. We had the brisket sandwich w/fries and the pulled pork with coleslaw. The portions were hugh and the food delicious! The coleslaw was beyond excellent and I'm a "Coleslaw Nut". Couldn't talk the owner out of his homemade coleslaw dressing, but tried... Oh, and the food truck lot was spacious, clean and nicely shaded on a warm Bend afternoon. I was in bend from Portland doing deliveries, my buddy recommended this place a couple days prior. He recommended the brisket grilled cheese. It was about 4 miles out of my way this past Wednesday during the snow storm but brisket grilled cheese sounded sooo good & it did not disappoint. It had that melty, cheesy, smokey goodness you would expect. The guy didn't seem happy to be at work. So disappointed with this food truck we have been having disappointing meals from them a few times but we went today with some friends and were bummed!! the wings were awful super tiny recooked what looked like a couple of times. This was possibly the worst bbq I've ever had. I had the brisket, pulled pork, beans, and fries. The meat was completely submerged in greasy water as if it was a soup, and there was a ~2 cm thick layer of what tasted like store bought bbq sauce thickly covering (strategically hiding?) what was mostly lumps of fat and not actually meat. We had driven by this collection of food trailers a couple of times and, since I had a nearby medical appointment, we decided to try it. CURBBQ's Grilled Cheese and Brisket Sandwich had been recommended; so, naturally, we had to try it. We also ordered cornbread and beans for our two sides. My first impression of the cornbread was: where is the honey? I did not need any honey. The cornbread was moist and fresh with a lovely honey-butter flavor. The beans were too spicy for my wife so we traded cornbread and beans. I liked the beans and did not think that they were too spicy. As I was eating the beans, it came to me that, sometime, I should order beans and cornbread and pour the beans over the cornbread to make a delicious meal. Other reviews have mentioned the Grilled Cheese and Brisket Sandwich. It was delicious. I would order it every time I eat here; but, there several other items on the menu that I want to try before I order it again. CURBBQ is one of six food trailers plus On Tap Beer Garden. We will be returning to this oasis as long as the weather permits this year and, hopefully, future years. read more

This what an 18 dollar pork rib special looks like at curb-BBQ. The ribs are literally CRUNCHY!! More like jerky and that not an exaggeration. Under the flap of chewy grizzle is just unseasoned, plain pork. These might even be parboiled ribs as there is not sign of smoke that I can see or tater. Tossed it all in the trash except the cornbread which is good but seemed boxed. These guys need to pay a visit to Roger That BBQ in Salem, Matt's BBQ in PDX or Pete's Meats at Oregon City Brewery and have them teach them how to make bbq. We will give them another shot. ***************** We ordered three items from Curbbq on New Years Eve. In the attached picture, you will see the smallest three tacos I have ever seen. We paid 10 dollars for 5 bites of taco. Look nothing like the picture on their website. They tasted good, but it was not even an appetizer size. We also ordered a brisket grilled cheese. The sandwich was good. The fries were bone cold, not lightly warmed, actually cold. Like out of the fridge, cold. We asked for a new order of fries. Great people that own the business but the quality varies a bunch. I can say that I don't eat this type of food anymore due to getting food poisoning from here years back, but they may have changed since then! Okay so took my 77 year old dad to his first food truck experience today and he chose the jalapeño burger here. He absolutely loved it and loved how many jalapeños were on it and the sauce dripping down his wrists (recommend grabbing extra, extra napkins prior to starting your burger). My dad is VERY minimal on giving compliments, I think I can count on one hand how many I can even recall him sharing in my 40+ years of life. So the fact that he went back to the truck after he finished his burger and gave a compliment to them was a bit shocking to me (like jaw dropping WTH is happening here kind of shocking). This also cemented in the fact that this was an outstanding burger with great flavor and all the goodness. While he's not one to share his food, I did get to try a fry and the seasoning on them is quite tasty! Way to go CURBBQ on making a grumpy old man love his lunch and that you brought a smile to his face while waiting for my mom to come out of a surgery. Thanks! read more
