Service was really great! We were seated immediately and later Jason was fantastic! We helped us as first timers to make some recommendations which turned out fabulous. I ordered the Ben Paris breakfast and the eggs were cooked perfectly to order. I asked for crispy bacon and it is on point. Youkon gold potatoes are absolutely delicious. There was a yogurt parfait and that was good too. We will most definitely be coming back, while we are here in Seattle. The atmosphere here is very casual, urban artsy. read more

Sunday breakfast! This place was packed, we enjoyed a booth/bench access table, highly recommend the reservations for this place. This is in the State hotel that's across from the Target downtown. Tried the mushroom scramble, breakfast sandwich, and espresso martini and coffee. Customer service for checking in our food, coffee refills, water etc. was a tad delayed and I understand as it was a full house at 10AM. Food was delicious and a great espresso martini. Good place for downtown breakfast. read more

Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. A special shoutout to Yuri, our waiter , he went above and beyond with his service. His food recommendations were spot-on, and he made our experience even more enjoyable. I really appreciate when a great meal is matched by equally great service. Muchas gracias por tu servicio, Yuri! A great stop downtown if you're shopping at the market and need a nosh on your way out. The cocktails, happy hour and small bites are great. The service is lovely and the atmosphere is very modern urban in the best ways. I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu. Pros: Cool little spot very close to the market. The food is amazing and certainly worth the wait! Three of us has steaks and one of us had the duck. Delicious and lots of "mmmms" all around. This place was great, the staff was fantastic and our time here was well spent. We had an intentional brunch and we had a lot of movers and shakers at the brunch, which is an inspiration in it's self. We all ordered, had drinks, and laughed and no one felt out of place. The ambience, food, and service was great and this made the overall time well worth it. Thank you for getting my accommodations sorted for the final third time (my party kept growing), and they were nothing but patient. We made reservations for about 8 ppl on a Saturday at 10am, first ones there made it easier to get a sit, drink our coffee, and relax. Parking is across the street in a paid parking garage, but worth it, because parking around the hotel/restaurant is dreadful, and we all did great. Hope your stay is as welcome as ours. Oh yah, the best part, I got the OG breakfast, which was perfect and the parfait to go with it, came a little before the food, and it was a slice of heaven (fun addition) to the meal. I remember loving the coffee too, that is my go to - a drip coffee in a ceramic cup, simple and 'oh so' perfect with my meal. read more

This is a great location for first time tourists traveling the heart of Seattle. The food was so fresh and to be honest we came for breakfast two mornings in a row. I live on the other side of the country so I was sad to leave. The staff was super kind and very informative about their menu. And the establishment looked very.. modern regal. I did like how the music was not too loud . Great time would love to go back someday read more

This place is actually a phenomenal place to choose to eat breakfast! It's located walking subs from the market so it's in a perfect location. Their service is super quick. However, I do recommend making a reservation because they are very busy! They do like to keep their windows and doors wide open, so there are flies flying about which I didn't really enjoy. However, please drink the coffee! It is the best coffee in town, they messed up my order, but whatever they messed it up to it was actually the best coffee I've ever tasted. Their breakfast potatoes are super good and delicious. I recommend giving that as a side. And I was able to share the breakfast sandwich with someone and it was still super filling. read more

Came her for brunch on a Saturday. Good thing we made reservations because the place was packed. Very cute trendy restaurant. The Ricotta Pancake was delicious. A little crispy on the sides. One of the better pancakes I've ever had. read more

I moved to Seattle in January and walk by Ben Paris all the time, I live on the same ave. Finally, I got to try the Ricotta Pancakes that people have been recommending me to try out and it does live up to the hype. 5/5 for the delicious pancakes. 4/5 For the shakshuka. I wish my eggs were sunny side up like a traditional shakshuka. Although, maybe I should have asked.. Servers usually ask how eggs liked to be served. No biggy though! The flavors were balanced, I like the texture from the crispy chickpeas. I enjoyed the touch of mint. 3.5/5 Cauliflower kale chicken salad. The salad could have been infused with a bit more dressing, it was very dry. I do like the taste of the dressing. The kale over powered the salad. The chicken lacked flavor, the texture was great. Ben Paris offers healthy options and I like that. I would definitely come here again for the pancakes and some coffee. The interior is super inviting and gorgeous + picture worthy. Thank you! read more

Went here for happy hour at 4:30 on a Thursday, we made reservations but didn't need to as it was pretty open. We asked what the seasonal punch was on their happy hour menu but the told us its actually a sangria. We ordered a couple of things to try. The place is super cute, well decorated and just a few blocks from pikes. I would recommend this spot if you want maybe a nice photo but I wouldn't recommend it for the food. Wouldn't come back personally. Sangria - 5/10. Just ok Shishito peppers - 6/10. Not bad but I really didn't like the yogurt sauce paired with it, way too overpowering and just dislike. Sliders 5/10. Nothing special, lil dry for me Cauliflower -7 /10. Very light and refreshing, liked the pine nuts. read more

Came by on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 and there was an hour long wait - not a huge problem since we ended up walking around the market in the meantime. Inside was clean - attached to the hotel and our waitress was very kind and friendly. 5/5 for the service itself! We felt the food was just okay - nothing particularly special, especially given all the other positive reviews and the extensive wait. 3/5 -Breakfast sandwich - sandwich itself was okay, a bit dense and heavy with the biscuit and sausage but the crispy potatoes were delicious and unique. This dish overall felt a bit dry and heavy for us. 4/5 - Baked Eggs with avocado (+$3 add on), this was much tastier and essentially a shakshuka. Very fresh tasting with the cilantro and fresh herbs on top and the tomato base was a great acidic compliment to the cheese and eggs to balance to dish. The bread that came with it was really good - we wish we had more of it to dip! Maybe our expectations were a bit high given the other positive reviews and wait time here but overall we felt this was more of your average brunch place. read more

We had a reservation for 2 people and were seated within seconds. They have a lovely interior and space. There are multiple parking garages across the street. Our order was taken within in seconds and the waitress stopped by a good amount of time. I ordered cranberry juice, latte, and breakfast Ben. The breakfast Ben had potatoes, eggs, replaced pork with avocados, and yogurt. The plating and food were delicious. My friend ordered the avocado toast and enjoyed it. It was a large slice of bread. Showed up just in time For Brunch Lunch. The service and ambiance was nice. The food looked really good but some of it fell a little short. The potatoes from the Ben Pairs Breakfast were super good. The Tavern Burger was filling but the sauce is what flavored the burger not the patty. The fried chicken sandwich had almost no chicken in it. It was mostly just chicken skin and batter only 2 bites worth of chicken, it did have good flavor but still. The Fig grill cheese was good but it had a little too much fig jam in it. Definitely overpowered the blue cheese and the bacon. To find the restroom was super confusing. There's no signage and had to ask a few people how to get to it since it's part of a hotel. Ended up going down 2 floors to get to it read more

I really wanted to love this restaurant. I came here before going to a special event at Benaroya and I liked the overall allure but it just didn't hit the mark for me. My food was overly salted, the staff seemed overworked and rushed, and it took a long time to get our orders. My cocktail was delicious, but it was difficult to flag down our server for a 2nd ro9und so we abandoned that quest and just ate and left. Not sure if they were understaffed or if that was normal but it was not a great vibe for me. read more

This place has been bookmarked for me for so long! Finally found time to come in for a weekend brunch (and a nice meal in a cold AC'd restaurant in the Seattle heat wave). I made a reservation for 2 people that same morning. Parking is a bit difficult since it's right next to the market, but there are garages around. The restaurant itself is connected to the hotel, and has a really cute space. It's airy and bright. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was so good! The biscuit was nice and crumbly but also seasoned just right to go with the rest of the sandwich. The chili adds just a tiny bit of spice and the sausage was also delectable. Juicy and flavorful. Best part were the crunchy potatoes. I find that brunch places usually give too many potatoes and I can never finish them. This was the perfect amount. I finished every single bite and every bite was delicious. Overall, super yummy! I'd definitely come back to try their dinner menu! read more

Really lovely sot to have brunch! Took my husband here for his birthday. We were really looking forward to trying their ricotta pancakes but to our dismay they were all out of them at 10:30am! Such a bummer. Service was nice, we didn't really have a waiter but the host made sure we were taken care of since we were tucked into a corner by the door. Atmosphere is nice, lovely decor, cushy seats and a variety of people! I saw more people dressed up on the weekends. This spot is also right in front of Pike Place and across from Target. Food: + sad about the pancakes :( + Ben Paris breakfast plate - came with a yogurt parfait which was nice, scrambled eggs were yummy, potatoes were perfection. I got the sausage which was ok. I also got the biscuit which costs 2.5 more and it was good. + My husband got the chicken sandwich with fries and he seemed to enjoy. Overall, they have some really great potatoes and eggs! read more

Our good friends live right down the street, and this is one of their favorite happy hour spots. It is a great happy hour, M-F 4-6 pm. Between the 5 of us, we ordered the shrimp cocktail, a burger, sliders, chicken sandwich, and bacon fries, a couple cocktails and bottle of rose. Everything was pretty tasty, and server was very friendly. He even comped the fries that didn't arrive until after we finished our burger. Would definitely return! read more

Breakfast was good, but the drinks were lackluster at best. The ambiance is mainly hipster and girl brunch, but there's just not enough substance to say this is a place I'd visit more often. I had the French toast and mimosa. Other people in my party ordered two dishes minimum just to taste and the general consensus at the table, was that the pictures don't deliver, as far as experience goes. I'd visit in the distant distant future, but living in Seattle means you know exactly where you can go to scratch the brunch itch. This just isn't it. If you're visiting, this is a great place in the pike area to have a decent brunch and a middle of the road mimosa, but I'd probably steer clear of you're looking for an affordable and fun brunch. Very stuffy and pricey for what you're actually getting. read more

Brunch in Seattle is always one of my favorite things to look forward to, and Ben Paris did not disappoint. We walked in without a reservation and only waited about 15 minutes to be seated, which was a pleasant surprise. If you do end up waiting a little longer, Pike Place is just across the street, which makes the time go by quickly. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The ricotta pancakes were light and airy, paired with a vanilla bean sauce that was tasty on its own, but I asked for syrup to complement them, and that honestly elevated the dish and made it outstanding. We also ordered the Ben Paris Breakfast, which was hearty and satisfying. It came with eggs, Yukon gold potatoes, sourdough, and even a yogurt parfait on the side, accompanied by butter and jam. Every bite was so enjoyable. The smoked salmon omelette was another standout. The salmon had incredible flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly, rich and buttery. My husband tried the Bloody Pho cocktail, and he said it beat any Bloody Mary he has ever had. It was a perfectly balanced drink with a pho-based broth, lime, hoisin, and gin. Truly creative and so well done. The only downside was that it seemed like there was just one server taking orders and checking in on everyone, even though the restaurant was full. Because of that, it took a while to be able to ask for the check once we were ready to leave. Overall, Ben Paris was such a great brunch experience, from the short wait time to the quality of the food and drinks. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Seattle. read more

I went here for brunch with friends and it was a lovely experience overall. We all ordered coffee, drinks, a ricotta pancake to share, and various entrees. I ordered the Bloody Pho (an Asian inspired Bloody) and the Carnita Bowl. Everything tasted great. The pancake in particular was delightful. My Bloody was excellent too--- a unique and flavor forward take on the drink. My girl friends had compliments for their food as well (and was I samples was very good). The venue is gorgeous: tall celeings, marble and brass, and a beautiful Kyler Martz mural. I was a great spot to catch up, dress cute, and enjoy our bites. Service was a little slow at times, but always friendly. We were not in a rush, so it wasn't a big detriment. Prices seemed a bit high, not totally out of line for Seattle, but more expensive than average ($18 for a Bloody, $6 for drip coffee...). I would go back, but it would a splurge date and not a casual Sunday affair. read more

We had a delicious vegetarian pasta here tonight. The grilled broccolini was perfect. The hush puppies were yummy too. A few days ago (6/26/26) we ordered some fries which were amazing. The strawberry salad was interesting (didn't love the way the red onion tasted in that and I love red onion). The carrot cake (nice portion size) was unfortunately ruined by the rancid walnuts in/on it. The prices were a bit high but I understand the rent there is probably really high and the wages are probably (hopefully) decent. We are from the San Francisco Bay Area. read more

I think this might have been one of, or perhaps the, best brunch with value and quality for cost. The brunch cocktail was huge and very good. The meals that seemed maybe a bit simpler or basic were all made with very high quality and fresh ingredients which made everything taste that much better. Service was great and the ambiance was nice. I'd def come again and bring friends. I also need to ask where they get their strawberry jam. read more

Next time you're downtown, save your money and go eat somewhere else. Me and my 7 family members were In town for a travel layover and looking for someplace not far from our hotel to have dinner. We walked in and were promptly greeted and sat and other than the drinks being well-made and tasty and good desert, that's about where the positive of our experience ended. Our server was extremely slow, easily confused, mixed up our orders and honestly seemed quite out of it. 1/2 of our drinks (for four of us) were delivered to the table and we had to ask for the other 4 drinks (for the other four of us) and the bartender seemed as though we hadn't ordered all of the drinks at the same time. On to the food, the hush puppies were delicious but most everything else was mediocre at best and took quite a while to come out of the kitchen. I ordered my burger medium and it came out way overcooked and tasted burned. My truffle fries were pretty good but needed a little more salt which was not on the table. I asked our server for some salt and she never brought it to me. My fiancée ordered the fried chicken and Mac and cheese and she said the mac and cheese was good but the chicken needed to be better seasoned. I tasted it and immediately could tell the fryer oil needed to be changed (former line cook) because the breading on the chicken was extra dark and had an acrid taste. The staff did give us two free deserts because we were celebrating a birthday and the carrot cake rocked and the tres-leche cake was awesome! For the prices that this place was asking for their food: $38 for the fried chicken meal and $27 for the burger I expected impeccable food and exceptional service and both came up sub-par. read more
