Bellden Cafe - Pink avo toast with salad - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I've been wanting to come to this cafe for a while now and today I finally had the chance to do so! Although everything on their menu looked delicious, I ordered the Pink Avocado Toast (chose fruit for my side over a salad) and a Matcha Latte with almond milk. The matcha latte wasn't on the menu itself, but I asked and was happy when the girl at the register told me they had it! The pink avocado toast was delicious! A very light and fresh flavor. The presentation was also super pretty :) I liked the fun spin on toast especially since the regular avo toast had cottage cheese - I don't really eat dairy/cheese. Even on a busy Sunday afternoon the noise level wasn't too bad. I could definitely see myself spending some time at the cafe getting some work done if I'm in the area :) Overall I would love to return and try more items on their menu - especially the drinks that benefit charities! - Free 2 hour parking (tell cashier your stall number so it's validated) read more

I've been thinking about this place ever since I left! By far the best cafe in Bellevue! Arguably all of Seattle! The service is so friendly and the coffee is to die for. Can't wait to go back! read more

Currently sipping on their Home for the holidays latte while writing this review. I'm so glad that they recommended this drink to me. I thought it would be similar to a mocha since it has cocoa but it's not. It reminds me of a Vietnamese coffee but not as sweet. I'd highly recommend this drink! I also got a peanut butter cookie which is surprisingly not sweet. I would say it could use more flavor. I came in last week and tried the let me love you latte which I would recommend for people that don't like sweet coffees. It was refreshing but but the sweetness was too subtle for me, I would ask for extra syrup next time. The only disappointment was that I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which cost about $8 including tax, but saw that they reheated a frozen breakfast sandwich. With that price I would assume it would've been freshly made. I love how the cafe is filled with greenery, and they had two private "rooms" or areas that can accommodate 8 or so people. I went to hide here when the cafe got loud so I could study. read more

I could not decide on the food options. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We decided on the pink avocado toast and it did not disappoint. I need to come back and try a waffle next time but there will for sure be a next time ! read more

Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and gluten-free options! They give 10% of all purchases to nonprofits and even have special rotating lattes where they give 25% to from each latte purchase. The owner is an incredible and generous woman--I heard her keynote a women's business brunch. I'm happy to support her amazing business. So excited their waffles are gluten-free, corn-free, and some even dairy-free! This is the matcha waffle with coconut whip, honey, and berry compote. Good tea selections for this tea purist, too; I had the dragon green and it was brewed just right. I'll be back! read more

First time trying this place out and honestly thought it was a bit overhyped. The place was overcrowded when I got there on a Friday morning. I ordered a latte and a hot chocolate for my daughter. When I asked for whipped cream on the hot cocoa they said they only had coconut whip which I said was fine, but when it came they just gave me the smallest teaspoon amount in a condiment cup. It was a bit disappointing for my toddler since she's used to having proper whipped cream with sprinkles and even asked me what was in the condiment cup. The food options looked like there was only Avocado toast and some waffles. I didn't see bakery items displayed anywhere so wasn't sure if they even had croissants or muffins. The line was long so I ordered fast and tried looking for a spot to sit. I asked about parking validation and the lady told I would need to spend atleast $15 in order to get validation and I was only at $11. Coffee was okay but nothing amazing I would go out of my way for. read more

Not a family friendly location. Congested seating. Seats are not comfortable. Takes way too long.

Stopped in for a mid-morning breakfast. I had the ABC Toast and shared the Avocado Toast. The ABC toast was EVERYTHING! I love anything almond butter and bananas. So, it was all that needed for breakfast with a cappuccino. The Avocado Toast was just okay, in my opinion. I am not a fan of ricotta, so that was the only downside for me. You can dine-in or takeout. The ladies here are super friendly. Keep in mind if you decide to dine-in, note the parking stall that you are in; they will validate the parking for you inside. Overall, a great experience and I cannot wait to return for the ABC toast!! read more

It would've been nice to enjoy the modern and minimalistic ambiance of the cafe, but we ultimately opted for outdoor seating just to be safe. I ordered the pnw toast with a matcha latte. The presentation is beautiful and I suppose is what I'm paying for the aesthetics. The toast is nice and thick and crunchy. The spread is generous and the salmon on top tastes nice and tender. The salad is barely any content but it does make the plating look extra good though. I took off a star because I didn't feel satisfied for paying this price just to only be half full. There is a parking garage just around the corner. Just take a picture of the parking spot number to get it validated. read more

We had a private dinner here for my birthday, and I was absolutely blown away by the thoughtfulness Claire put into everything. Not only was the cafe decorated beautifully, but the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and she had created a gorgeous photo wall for us to take pictures. She created and printed a custom menu that revolved around my favorite places I've traveled and the places still on my bucket list. She also brought out 2-3 courses that were surprises and not on the menu. She created beautiful postcards with drawings from my favorite places. She had a musician play while we ate. And she even got me a birthday gift and birthday cake (on top of the dessert she prepared). We all had a wonderful time and I truly felt special and celebrated. I can't recommend Bellden Cafe enough for private events! read more

I love it here! The coffee is great and they donate a portion of sales to local organizations. Service is great and while it does get busy and bustling, the ambiance feels safe and welcoming. One of my favorite spots to get acai bowls, the cafe has really cute vibes & they have drinks that donate a portion of their profits to charity. Although their prices are a little high, I know that they go to a good cause! The acai bowls are delicious, but the mochi waffle wasn't fantastic. I would recommend getting one of their seasonal drinks & an acai bowl! read more

Such a cute space and friendly service. Tried the mint cold brew and the caramel coffee. The mint cold brew was really good. Just the right amount of mint and the cold brew was really good. The caramel was good as well. Got the avocado toast which was delicious and different. The bread was soft and the taste was light and good. The muffin breakfast sandwich tastes like a leveled up McMuffin. It was delicious. Can't wait to go back. read more

This is one of my favorite cafes in Bellevue. They have variety of options for coffee, including charity drinks where part of proceeds are donated to the charity listed in the drink description. My favorite charity drink is the home for the holidays latte, which has condensed milk, cocoa, cinnamon, and clove. I also highly recommend trying their pink avocado toast, which has house made pink hummus that is very tasty! Not only are you going to get amazing drinks here, but going to get the most amazing service as well. I wish I lived closer so that I could be more of a regular, but still find myself coming on my WFH days just to be here lol But on a more recent visit, I got an ill advised parking ticket parking that I am currently disputing. Bellden management has been so incredible in helping me fight this ticket and I couldn't be more thankful. Things should get resolved as it was a simple misunderstanding, but how they go above and beyond to help and support its customers is truly TOP NOTCH. Highly highly recommend supporting businesses such as Bellden Cafe. Thanks guys! read more

We had the Bellden Coffee Cart serve at Bellevue High School's wrestling tournament, the Wolverine Scuffle. They showed up early, set-up quickly with great signage, equipment, etc. and served a great selection of coffee and non-coffee beverages and snacks all day. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our 600+ athletes and fans AND donated a portion of proceeds back to the team. Cute little cafe with nice people. It wasn't overcrowded on a Saturday at noon. The two of us got a seat pretty easily though it was fairly full. Pumpkin spice oat milk lattes were good, not overly sweet. We ordered the avocado toast and the PNW toast. The PNW was good, but the avocado was sliced a little too thin. More avocado, please! The floral touch made me miss Hawaii and made this Instagram-able. I loved that it wasn't over-priced which made it the perfect Saturday lunch. read more

I'm a fairly new coffee drinker, so I'm always nervous about new coffee spots. After taking my first sip of the Spring Time Latte (made with oat milk) I realized I shouldn't have had any hesitations about this spot. The coffee is smooth and the drinks are made with perfect proportions of flavors. A few other things to note: they validate parking, their staff is friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance of the space is wonderful. Oh- and they also have some really fun gifty items! The line ranged from one person to clear out the door when I was there (about fifteen minutes) so order ahead if you are worried about time! read more

I absolutely love this place! I came with a friend around 9:30 on a Sunday and the place was already packed, so make sure to go early or on off hours if you want a table. I ordered a PNW Toast, sub the cream cheese with ricotta (the barista was so nice about this), and a Home for the Holidays Latte (condensed milk, cinnamon, cocoa and clove (also part of their Charity Drinks Line where they donate a % of their proceeds to a specific charity!)). My friend ordered a matcha latte and also a PNW with no subs. We were told our stuff would be ready in about 20 minutes, but it honestly came within 15. My toast was a lot bigger than I expected and had a satisfying crunch, and the smoked salmon wasn't too salty either. The fruits seemed fresh and were sweet. My friend really enjoyed her meal too and stated that it was filling and tasty. Overall, very filling meal with a coffee that I attempted to copy at home, but was unable to make quite as delicious. Will absolutely be coming back. read more

In terms of presentation, taste, & structure, the Acai Bowl & PNW Toast were 5/5 hands down. The Acai bowl was perfectly balanced with granola, nuts & seeds, fresh fruit and acai mix itself and It wasn't overly sweet at all. It was filling and absolutely delicious. The PNW toast was just as balanced. You could taste everything from it's menu description in a smooth combination. I also appreciated that it was easy to bite and wasn't messy at all. Very smooth experience My only reason for 4 stars is because the scone was supposed to be orange & blueberry, but I didn't get either flavor at all, even though there were whole blueberries in it. It tasted more like just a plain biscuit. But otherwise everything else was very well done & service was great! read more

Bellden Cafe is a super 'Well done' cafe - quaint and naturesque. The ambience was so pleasant and serene that even the simplest acai bowl tasted elegant! I decided to give this café another try as I hadn't been here in a few years. Let me just say that I am not impressed with the service. I stood here for three or four minutes before someone even greeted me and have now been waiting probably 10 minutes and still don't have my coffee, I didn't order anything it just seems. Everyone has been called in different directions with no one focusing excessively on the customers standing here waiting. Underwhelmed. read more

I wish I could give it more than 3 stars. The waiting time for a toast was 20 minutes, and that's what I got in the end... 12$ salmon toast, the amount of salmon is a slight disappointtment. And a waiting time. At least the coffee was good read more
