L'Experience Paris now serves dinner! We had to try it out as "research" for summer trip to France. Overall: The restaurant had nice vibe and appeal, albeit empty. The food was outstanding - easy 5/5. Highlight was the French Onion Soup... we enjoyed Beef Bourguignon and Scallops - very flavorful and well prepared. The service was excellent, and the chef even came out to say hello. My Only complaint is the seating! Metal chairs at high top tables or metal chairs at standard tables... we had a corner table - two of us had the chairs and two on a bench with no back. We had to skip dessert since we were uncomfortable. Fix the seats and auto 5/5

Food quality is a 5+. service is a 1, hence the 3 rating. It's also very pricey, but the quality of the ingredients suggests that the markup isn't artificial. In fact, I'm a diabetic and I don't get a glucose spike when I eat these pastries which is pretty amazing. I still get into the 160's so I have to go for a walk, but it's nothing like other Americanized bakeries and grocery store pastries. Farine is the same quality, but maybe 1 star less for taste. Farine is also faster, cleaner, and friendlier service. Go for the amazing pastries if you can tolerate the terrible and slow service.

Nice to take some pictures and the food here is good. But the service here is not as good as the price. They seem to short of staff and didn't have staff come to order food after seated. The dessert here is interesting.

    Mocha et Les Quiches

I walked past this restaurant and was instantly drawn in by the croissants in the window. A couple days later, I came back with a friend for brunch. We were seated by the window without a reservation, and our server was a kind, attentive young woman who made the experience even better. The interior is beautifully done--there's a wall of wine and a projection of French landscapes that gives the space a really charming feel. Everything was clean and inviting. We asked for recommendations, and she suggested the French toast with berry compote and the avocado toast. She also mentioned that the eggs benedict is very popular. We both ordered coffee--he got a latte, and I got a mocha. The mocha was the perfect balance of dark chocolate, espresso, and milk. It honestly made me crave a proper chocolat chaud with a warm croissant. For food, I ordered the Quiche Lorraine and my friend got the French toast with berry compote. We were both blown away. My first bite was actually the side salad, and I was surprisingly impressed with the dressing. The quiche itself was perfect--and the crust... so good. My friend loved the French toast. It was perfectly soaked and paired really well with the berry compote. I will say it leans very sweet, so don't expect anything savory-leaning--it might be a bit much if you don't have a big sweet tooth. We were a bit short on time, but the service was quick and attentive. We were in and out without even needing to mention our time crunch. This place feels underrated. I'd honestly be so sad if it closed--it's a perfect Sunday brunch spot.

The last time I visited was over 4 years ago during the pandemic. Four year later, this place is now more of a cafe and wine bar with a nice dine-in experience. I got a few pastries to go. I definitely recommend the pastries. I loved is the fig and gruyere savory kouign amman (even when it was cold inside), the hazelnut croissant was delicious, and the Sahar cake is lacking in flavor and texture (for $18, I expected way more). Shout-out to the girl who helped me, super friendly. She told me to sign up for rewards, which got me $10 off my order. Tips: 1) Free 2-hr parking (just make sure to enter your stall number at the machine) 2) this place is on the InKind app, which has promos of $50 off $100 and $25 off $50 sometimes

We came here very much on accident one evening, and left talking about how excited we are to be coming back at some point. We met some friends in Bellevue for a couple of nights, and decided to leave the kids in the hotel, and have an adult date night. We wanted somewhere where we could grab drinks and also Grab a quick snack. This was the perfect spot! They had significant amount of outdoor seating that fed seamlessly into the restaurant. We came in, picked out a croissant (delicious) and or seated promptly. It seems like everybody here is French, knows French or has spent time in France. The combination of accents and knowledge of French cuisine was impressive! They have desserts displayed in a case inside the restaurant. It was a unique combination of beautiful and delicious with options ranging from classic all the way to very specific Middle Eastern desserts. We sampled three and loved each of them! This is the sort of place that you can come withtwo people or 10, and you have an opportunity to try both things that are familiar as well as things that you probably have never seen before. We are all very excited to come back and try more!

The restaurant doesn't have a parking lot, which makes the only options paying to park in a nearby garage or finding street parking. There is usually some street parking in front of tapster. The service here is terrible. We were seated and no one came to take our order until after we had approached them to take it (15 minutes at least). The food here is decent but not worth the price. The veggie omelette was decently cooked, the eggs Benedict croissants were nothing special. The resturant is pretty with floor to ceiling windows and has a small patio (only for smaller tables). I've heard the Kirkland location has better service.

Nice atmosphere, desserts weren't anything amazing, but willing to come back and try more because they do look pretty! Service was fine. Nothing exceptional but it is cute!

Needed to get my fix for a well crafted latte. Found this little gem and ended up also ordering a hazelnut croissant and pain du chocolat. Everything was delicious-the croissant was definitely 12/10 on the scale for crispy layers! Cheree was our server and she was super attentive. Ask her about the story of the teddy bears On our way out, we bought the Camille (cheesecake) to try at home. We will definitely come back to try their brunch.

I had an excellent visit to L'Experience Paris - Bellevue. I ordered the Salade Poulet, the Salmon & Avocado Eggs Benedict Croissant, and the Almond Croissant & Hazelnut Croissant, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Salade Poulet was generous with the chicken--plenty of protein and very satisfying. The Salmon & Avocado Eggs Benedict Croissant stood out with a rich portion of salmon tucked into a buttery, flaky croissant. I only wish it came with a second egg, as there was just one, but it was poached well.  The Almond & Hazelnut Croissant was a perfect finish--sweet frangipane for the almond and heavy nutella vibes for the hazelnut. Their pastries are top-notch and clearly made with care. Highly recommend for brunch lovers or anyone craving a little slice of Paris.

My husband and I found this gem when we had a staycation in Bellevue. We really loved it!!! We got seated immediately even when we didn't make a reservation. The whole place has such a cute cafe vibe! I got a latte and croissant with salmon and avocado Benedict and my husband got ham, Benedict croissant and Americano. We really loved the coffee. The milk was steamed so well. I wish my croissant is warm but it's still very good. The service was amazing and everyone has a great smile! Highly recommend this place!!

Just literally walked into this place because I thought the pastries looked nice as I was walking by. I entered with my service dog to purchase some pastries and I was immediately stopped at the door and told that I couldn't be serviced because I had a dog. I politely told the man and the woman that my dog is a service dog. They cut me off and said that they don't allow dogs period. Mind you they had a sign on their door that says "trained service dogs are allowed." I was confused so I just pointed out to them that they have signage on their door that trained service dogs were allowed and they still said no. Again I politely asked them about purchasing something (which my intention was to purchase and leave). The woman then back tracked and told me I could sit outside but it's currently 45 degreesF out and all their seats and tables were wet from earlier rain. I wish situations like this wouldn't happen and that people would first assess the situation before making assumptions or statements. Honestly it made me feel horrible because it wasn't even that they wouldn't seat me but they wouldn't allow me to purchase anything if I had my service dog with me. I have walked into so many places knowing that people may feel weird about a dog in the establishment so often times I try to just purchase and then leave and go eat outside. But to not even be allowed to purchase it honestly felt like it had to do with more than just my service dog. Like they wouldn't even hear me out as if anything that came out of my mouth was irrelevant. As an Asian American woman I encourage people to visit other French pastry shops because there are plenty that have amazing, understanding, and accommodating staff. This place is not one of them. I DO NOT recommend this place or any of its location at this point.

Parking can be a nightmare. Good luck if you find anything on the street. Otherwise you could do paid parking (12$ an hour). Not fun! Anyhow nice cute spot in Bellevue. Delicious pastry. I had the hazelnut croissant. They didn't have a wide selection of herbal teas...need a restock!

There's also no seating inside the shop, but they do have some outdoor seating available. I ordered the Thai green tea with less sweet, added ube + Thai tea soft serve, and a waffle on top. The Thai green tea itself was actually really good -- super floral, creamy, and milky. The sweetness reminded me of sweetened condensed milk, which worked really well with the tea flavor. The part I didn't really enjoy was the ube soft serve. Something about the flavor tasted a little off to me, and once it melted into the drink, everything became much sweeter than I wanted. The waffle was also VERY sweet with a strong coconut flavor. Overall, I did enjoy the actual Thai green tea drink a lot, so I'd probably come back for that alone. Next time I'd skip the soft serve and waffle and just keep it simple.

Parking ended up being a bit of a walk, which had me second-guessing the decision at first--but I'm glad I stuck with it. The moment I walked in, the space felt thoughtfully designed. The flow of the café is one of the best I've experienced--open, comfortable, and easy to navigate. As soon as the door opened, the barista greeted me right away. The counter is positioned close enough that you don't feel awkward hovering like in some cafés where the bar feels miles away. It immediately felt welcoming. I visited on a weekend during a slower period, but since the café sits right next to a college, I can imagine the line spilling out the door during peak hours. At quieter times though, the layout works well--there's enough space for a couple people to wait without crowding the entrance. I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant. The croissant came warmed, and the texture was spot on: fluffy, layered, and not overly greasy. The almond filling had a really nice balance--nutty with just enough sweetness and a hint of salt to round it out. I was told the pastries are made in-house, and it definitely shows. It tasted like something made with care. The cortado itself was solid--pretty classic, nothing overly fancy. One thoughtful touch I appreciated was that it came with sparkling water, which was great for cleansing the palate. The space itself is fairly spacious and works well if you want a quiet moment to sip your coffee. That said, most of the seating is high stools, so it doesn't really feel like the type of place to settle in and study for hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price of the croissant at $6.50. It tasted great and I understand prices in this area tend to run higher, especially for house-made pastries--but it's a bit outside what I'd usually spend. So while I definitely think it's good, it might not become a regular stop for me simply due to location and budget. Still, a great find and a pleasant surprise during a routine coffee run. There are 3 cafes I go to on the regular for my hojicha fix: Magic Matcha, Tendon Kohaku, and Bobae in Kirkland. While I enjoy all three, Magic Matcha is my favorite. I've had issues with Tendon and Bobae either changing up the brand or the roast or adding too much milk on any given day. One of my gfs loves their horchata hojicha so there's that. I've been here twice, once a few years ago with my cousins, and another three days ago. The people working were attentive and quick with their service. The ambiance of the place is cute, a lot of pink and green, very instagram-worthy, and I saw a few people with friends or working on their laptop so it seems like a great place vibe-wise. To expand on my matcha critique, I found the color to be a little on the green-yellow side, which isn't the end all- be all quality indicator for matcha, but I find matcha lattes that are more rich in color tend to taste better and this tasted like a matcha drink I could make with costco matcha. I've made some decent lattes with costco matcha but once I switched to the more higher quality ones, well, it sorta refined my tastes. There isn't a lot of parking, and to be fair, a lot of people who are in downtown Bellevue are parked elsewhere else and likely just meander their way to the cafe. However, if you're coming in by car, I'd suggest parking by the apartments nearby, DO NOT park at the Chase Bank lot, even if the bank itself is closed (learned my lesson...). Overall, a 3.7-3.9. Could be better. Maybe with other additives like cold foam or strawberries, the drink is better, but I'm judging based off the basic latte.
