Another restaurant I've gone to many times as a kid that seemed to disappear to only a few locations. It's a sports bar feel with booths and long tables. The service was good. The host was kind of dismissive and just pointed to "seat yourself". The menu is pretty similar to most sports bars. I was interested to see that they have cauliflower crust pizza though! The pizza was good! A bit disappointed with the cleanliness. The plates and serving spatula for the pizza were dirty. The silverware was a bit dirty too, with the fork still having food on it, nasty. Though they opened in Mount Dora a few years ago, I finally made it in and BOY am I grateful. Their Sunday specials are excellent and the FOOD, WOW - exceptional. Not only this, but the service was amazing too. Ask for Emily, she's a sweetheart and knows the menu inside and out. read more

The salads were excellent far above the norm. The salad was outstanding with the buttermilk chicken. Service was great. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed at the condition of the ladies bathroom. It needs a complete renovation. The drain in the middle of the floor was filthy. i use to eat at this location a lot. then the service and food declined. it had been years since i've eaten there so i thought i'd give it another shot. food is still trash, the onion rings were all clumped together in two big onion patties. the quesadillas got swapped for crappy little corn dogs not even edible. the service was fine. i paid without complaining about anything and left and that's when the problem started. some little twink came out and got in my face saying "you have a problem with the way i run things" and "we don't talk about the old owners here" i don't know what his problem was but i'm definitely not going back anytime soon read more

Wow! What a change! The new owner also owns the Beef 'O' Brady's in Apopka, and boy, has he changed this place for the better in every way. Not only has the quality of food and service gone up, but he's also put in an outdoor covered patio with live music! They have a huge selection of draft beer and the chicken wings are some of the best. The burger is excellent as well. If you came here before and were disappointed, I suggest you come back and give it another shot, as it is night and day compared to the previous owners. read more

First time there and I had the carnita tacos..omg so delicious! and my husband had an O'Brady burger and it was awesome he was happy. Matthew was our server and what a wonderful guy so cheerful and attentive I felt kind giving him a bear hug . Even changed one of the TVs to the Golf Channel to see today's game. Queen Bee and I have been on the road for a spell. So we found this joint as it started pouring and she was getting hungry. So we sat at the bar, ordered a pitcher of Yuengling and perused the menu. Queen Bee decides she wanted to go easy since she plans on stuffing herself tonight with Italian food. So of course we don't go any further than the salad page . She decides on a Mediterranean chicken salad and I begrudgingly got a buffalo chicken salad. Sigh; at least I washed it down with beer. Kills all the vitamins in the damn rabbit food, at least. Quality of both was actually decent, anyway. Meantime the barkeep reminds us of our snarky, addle brained neighbor across the street back at home base. At least this one TRIED to be friendly anyway. Hoodie and USC sweatpants on; don't these people require some semblance of a damn uniform rather than looking like they just rolled out of bed??? Not overly crowded as it was a bit of an off hour. Most of the folks who WERE here consisted of greasy, dumb rednecks smelling of cigarette smoke and stale beer. All of a sudden I felt like I was in a scene from "Deliverance." Odd part is that so-called "Urban Music" is playing in the background while nearly a dozen flat screens play silently. New to the neighborhood and stopped in Tuesday night for a late dinner. Pretty quiet but it was later in the evening. Sat on the patio which was very cute and awesome breeze. Menu had lots of options. Husband said his wings were really good, sauced heavily. He was happy. We shared an app of the steak nachos which were huge, lots of toppings. As to be expected. I would just say for servers to bring app / b&b plates for the appetizers, nachos can be on the messier side so plates would have been useful. I ordered a chicken tender bowl that came with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. Chicken was tender and delicious and came out hot but otherwise the dish lacked flavor and potatoes were luke warm at best. Prob wouldn't order it again. Both the girls that took our order / delivered our food were very nice and friendly, quick to refill our drinks etc. Def need to drop a coaster or napkins for the table as the condensation had our table soaked. But otherwise a decent experience. We will be back to try other menu options. read more

I have ordered from there several times and their wings sub par but was in the mood for wings so decided to place another order with them tonight from #UberEats after waiting for over an hour and then got pushed out again while my order said "Preparing your order" I called to see what the issue was and was basically told off and then hung up on by a person who said they were the owner. If this is how he treats his customers imagine what kind of integrity is invested in preparing the food. Well I went for the wing special. They were not wings but chicken pieces. We ordered side salad which was not included and delivered with wrong dressing. "Wings" came out and the hot was about as hot as a Klondike ice cream bar. Talked to server, Ashley, and she verified that was what we ordered. She gave me a side of hot sauce and increased the taste of the "wings" substantially. They would not offer a military or senior discount. It happens, but there were three out of five girls that had their hair down and kept touching it . which is not sanitary for that reason. It's really a crapshoot here.. Sometimes pretty good, but just tried it for first time since new owners took it over. My wife liked her steak bowl, and I'd give the fish/chips a B-, however waitress charged us for a Guinness draft, ( which my wife ordered, and was promptly told they were out of Guinness) . I was charged for 3 IPAs, but only had 2. Finally, I had 2 IPAs because they served the "cigar city" pale ale in a glass that was maybe 8 oz. Nowhere near a regular pint of beer, but priced as if it were, (and maybe even a bit more.) Recommend staying away from Beef O'Brady if you want an actual glass of mcraft beer not metered out in a half-portion, and looks like they have some decent burgers or wings, but the fish/ chips is so-so, and I'm pretty sure isn't real Cod. read more

We ALWAYS give fair opinions and try to never to let emotions do the writing. The latter is very difficult, at this moment... We went for #friedpickles, some boneless wings and sliders to round it out. We had a 5 of 25 or 3 off 15 coupon. After we ordered, we inforned the server of coupon, and asked is all good... she goes to check, and *hollars* back, YOU HAVE TO SPEND 25 DOLLARS.... and then she exclaims, never mind, you're good! So we wait, 15+ mins, and get the #friedpickles, not the best Ive had... had a #fishy taste, a pet peeve of mine, fish cooked with MY FOOD. And to prove it, there was a #fishnugget in the basket. It was good, but lost in my basket..... So, we wait, 20+ mins later, the sliders arrive, and she grins eerily and asks " Anything else for yas?" Um, we ordered wings.... "Oh yea!" ... And #boom wings drop from the sky.... #lukewarm We eat...... soggy unhot wings and sliders & fries. That will end the good part of the review, this is where things go off the map.... The petite bartended shows up, we never ordered booze... and says " This is no good!" , holding our coupon, "Didnt you read it ?!?!" First time ever having problems with going to a restaurant and having them tell me that service dogs wasn't welcome, that they have a patio area for dogs. General manager said he could deny service to anybody without a reason. (Beef o Brady) in Mt. Dora. Told us next time not to bring the dog but would serve us tonight. Didn't care about ADA Laws. Not bad, not great. It's kind of odd to walk into a place that looks so dark from the outside and then like you are under a spotlight inside. Very sweet and quirky server. My food was good, but my wife got the lettuce wraps and they were underwhelming to say the least. We used to get them at Chili's when they were on the menu and they were amazing. Tonight, as usual, the service was fair. The wings were subpar. Not awful but not great. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap which I've had several times before. It was served with no lettuce in the wrap. I inquired if lettuce no longer came in the wrap and the server said she didn't know and asked if I wanted her to bring me some lettuce. Even if I wanted to make my own food, the wrap is seated so you would have to destroy it to add lettuce. After two bites I decided I wouldn't force myself to eat it. It just wasn't good. We have come to this location a few times. I usually order the philly cheese steak sandwich which has been very good in the past. Tonight when my husband and I ordered the same sandwich there was only half the amount of steak and cheese. The meat only filled up about a third of the bun. We asked our waiter about the smaller amount and he said it was the apportioned amount that they always put in it. It is not what has previously been put in this sandwich. It was not worth the price we paid for it. (We ended up eating half a sandwich because we put all the meat and cheese on half the bun) We will not come back to this location!! Came to the restaurant to get a bite and watch the fight. Ordered wings (garlic Parmesan). The size of the wings were fine and they were definitely cooked and were moist. Really missed the "grilled" flavor that you can get at Froggers. Was also not a fan of the sauce really did not taste garlic and not enough parm. Also ordered the pretzel sticks with a cheese sauce. They were covered and I mean covered in salt!!! Not what I wanted at all. Wiped the salt off, but just not good at all Great selection of beer on tap, but only had Joe's Guinness in a can. Will never and I mean never will we ever go back to watch a fight at this place again! There were fools sitting at the bar who were yelling and out of control. In addition they allowed someone to smoke an e-cigarette that was scented. Not what I want to smell in a restaurant! Another complaint is that the staff brought in a bar table into the dining room (right in front of our table) and had 4 huge men sit and block our view. Must be nice to be friends with the staff. Lastly and the most grievous error was they only put the fight on two TVs. What were they thinking!!! This was the worst fight night experience we all had. Where was the manager?!?! read more

Stopped in to try out this new local joint. Greasy low grade fried food items, except for the salad, at best. I tried to eat the boneless wings, they're gross and nothing but salty breading. The side of slaw was buried in mayo like goo. And the waitress didn't even get my order correct. There was also a gentleman sitting next to me at the bar, who was also a new patron. He ordered a steak and could barely eat it since it was nothing but fat. He did complain to the wait staff. This is NOT a place to visit if your looking for a decent meal. What IT DOES offer is beer and TV's but nothing beyond that. If Beef O' Bradey's would revamp their decades old menu with more palatable items, the place would be much better to hang out and enjoy.
