Wings with PJ's Secret Sweet & Spicy wings
    Travis J.

Came in with a large group, and I can't remember the servers name, but he did an amazing job taking care of a large table, that was on the second level and taking the stairs to deliver the food. I can appreciate an establishment that has many options to choose from, whether it be a salad, sandwich, or entrée. I went with some wings as they were a popular item. They were good overall, and the sauce was sweeter than it has spice. I have to give props to the blue cheese, as it tasted housemade. The parking for this place is horrendous, as it's shared with other nearby restaurants, and the view of the lake is a nice touch. If I were passing by, I'd stop by again.

I love bringing my family here. The service and food are amazing. Live entertainment today too - out on the patio. The view of the lake with the seaplanes are incredible

I had the Nauti Nachos tonight and they were pretty good! I love their kettle chips! My friend ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and mild wings. I would've liked a good homemade lemonade with my food but I just had water. They do have coke products and the am waiter recommended the margarita but I didn't try it...

Valentines lunch with hubby, niece and nephew. Server was attentive, friendly and helpful. We ordered mimosas, beer and Bloody Mary along with fried pickles and coconut shrimp for appetizers. Ordered fish and chips , blackened chicken ceasar salad , cheeseburger and jalapeño burger. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Definitely recommend !!

Stopped here after going boating with Freedom Boat Club. Our waitress Emma was very thoughtful and brought water out from my dog Roxy, which I really appreciate. We had half an order of peel and eat shrimp which were cooked very well and had a late seasoning to them. We also had the fish and chips and substituted the pork rinds and a side salad for the chips and coleslaw, which I think was a good decision. The pork rinds came out crackling and hot. They were a little bit over seasoned, the side salad was fresh crisp and I really liked the ranch dressing. The fish was OK not my favorite but definitely fresh just had too much better for me. Next time I would order something different. The location is perfect overlooking the lake and you could see the sea Plains coming in and parking, which was also a nice added benefit

    Cheers!

I think I'm adding a star from our last visit because of excellent service from David. We sat inside due to the heat but would have enjoyed the music outdoors. There were six of us and we started with a huge order of fried pickles and ranch. Entrees were an Asian chicken salad which seemed improved with more chicken, coconut shrimp (6 huge shrimp but needed more coconut), salmon, mahi bites (delicious), and a kids burger. We had leftovers in hand when we left. As before, it is a pleasant view of the lake from any seat and the specialty drink are, in a word, special.

We walked into this place wanting to enjoy being on the water and watching the sea planes come in and it was perfect place for that! We went directly outside and only had 1 round of drinks because they were unable to put college football on , but I would like to go back to this place sometime and eat outside while the planes come in . Eustis is a really cute city and their downtown area is small but they have a ton of little bars and restaurants that's worth checking out. We came from Orlando and wanted something different so we were happy that we stopped by this place for sure!

Friday night, place is busy. Food and service is good. The patty melt was cooked med-rare the way I asked for it , along with the homemade chips and 2-4-1 beer hit the spot. The fresh turkey sandwich was also good. Prices reasonable,I will return.

When we arrived, there was one table left in the bar side, which had enough for 6 people. We asked if we could just grab that spot and the hostess had to go speak to the manager. She came back and informed us that we could not sit there, but instead in the adjacent restaurant (same menu) or the bar (my grandma is in a wheelchair), or wait but that it might be over an hour. Since we were a group of 3 we asked if we could split that table into 2 so we wouldn't use it all, additionally, we had driven over an hour for the pop up and really wanted to be in the themed area, but they insisted that they had to keep it open for any potential larger party that would come after us. My question is... couldn't that larger party that *might* come sit in the adjacent restaurant? We were after the lunch hour (around 2pm) and I get wanting to keep space, but this has literally never happened to me before anywhere I have been. Eventually, we were able to sit at that table (they didn't split it into 2, but we offered multiple times). No larger group came so there wasn't an issue with that... I mean it did all work out but the vibes were so weird and others should know the potential issues! We only got cocktails, and they were delicious! I loved the theming it was super cute and accurate! I think if I go back I would go alone so I could sit at the bar. There is plenty of parking available!

As a vegetarian and my wife being Gluten Free, we wondered what we would order. If we knew our friends better, we would have suggested going elsewhere, but did not say much. I saw that they have a side salad and wondered if they could make that into an entree portion for me. The very nice waitress came back with a resounding 'no', they could not accommodate. The menu was almost 100% meat or fish. There was one vegetarian plate, which was expensive and I could not see the value reflected in the rather large asking price. Instead, I ordered 3 sides, Brussel Sprouts, grits and sweet potatoes, each $5.00. They were all good with the exception of the Brussel Sprouts having a gas taste. So too much flame there. My wife eats meat and had the Prime Rib (first time in 20 years). She said it was good and it was $34. The Salmon was also $34. Our friends each had the blackened salmon and they were also $34. These came with 1 side. To us, we felt the food was overpriced. The mostly meat menu caters obviously to only meat eaters and the owner was not willing to make any changes as our friend wanted to leave the bacon oil out, and that didn't happen. I suppose they do not need our business and our friends felt the same way. Of course, after hearing such good things about the place, we were sorry we went there. Or course, if in the future the name of the restaurant comes up, we will share our experiences. Word of mouth advertising came be good or bad. Seemed like the waitress has had to give the 'no change' answer lots of times before. So, this was not our kind of restaurant as they didn't serve what we wanted. Oh well, we tried.

That's what we did that morning. Ambiance was great. It felt like each little dining area was a different room in a big, semi-haunted mansion. Eclectic books and paintings and mirrors and other baubles adorned much of the walls, making for plenty of looking around time during you meal. Very fun. Service was really good. The pacing of the meal was great, and our server was very friendly. We were always with drink, and she knew the menu backwards and forwards, even the special dishes of the night. As for the food, we went whole hog with two apps, two mains, and a dessert to share. Out of everything we ordered, only one of them remains on the current menu, which is a great sign. I love a rotating, seasonal menu. It shows effort, and it definitely encourages return patronage. We started with the Ciabatta Board (toasted ciabatta, house butter made with sun dried tomato, roasted red pepper, parmesan, garlic, chive). This was nice. It was very sun dried tomato, so if you don't like them, don't get this. But very soft, toasty bread made this very lovely. We also got an escargot app which was very creamy and soup-like. The snails were complimented well by the spinach. And the whole thing came with a nice little breadstick. I saved some of the bread from the board for some sopping. Pro move. For our mains, we got a miso butter New York strip and some sort of Asian themed duck. For both mains, the proteins were cooked very very well, and the portion sizes were a good size compared to what I was expecting. Both sets of taters were good. The mash was very smooth and creamy, the roasted baby potatoes were cooked all the way through and were nice and naturally buttery. Both were served with a seasonal veg mix that was pretty ok. It rounded out the plate, but it won't change your world or anything. We finished off with one of the best slices of cheesecake I've ever had. Incredibly smooth with the perfect cheesecake density, the perfect amount of chocolate chips inside, and a nice little crust that added that little bit of texture that is needed from the crust. Overall, quite a meal! To survive in a small town with these prices and those quality ingredientes and that unique of a menu design is very impressive. I will certainly be back.

Not sure how I would feel about that in August. Our waitress was Haley (guessing at the spelling) and she was bubbly and very attentive. The menu wasn't overwhelming and I always think that's a good sign that most of the food is being prepared fresh and not pulled from a freezer. My mom ordered the fish sandwich with tomato and cucumber salad. After ordering the Italian Haley said they were out of beef until the owner arrived so I went for the day's special which was a seafood basket: two pieces of fried fish, four huge shrimp and clam strips. Clam strips are not my favorite but these were very crisp and tasty. It was served with fries and cold slaw. We both agreed the food was very good. I asked for some cocktail sauce and after a few minutes she came back with saying she had to make some. It was fantastic, very horseradish forward which I loved. I have never received a drink in a timely fashion or before even receiving food because either he doesn't pay attention that he has to make drinks for outside of the main bar or he only cares about the people who are directly tipping him. It's disappointing that the servers have to constantly say something just to get a drink at all. They either need a new bartender or he needs a bar back because he doesn't know how to time manage.
