Removed from the bone for easy carving, this robust flavored steak eats like butter, into a surf and turf for the both of us. The sides were shared as well. Steamed Broccoli Florets, Smashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, Sweet Potato Fries Drizzled with Honey, and Bacon Roasted Brussels Sprouts. All of which were amazing. It was a lot of food. Took about half home and I believe it was actually great value for the price. For a place in a strip mall that looks like nothing much from the outside, I really enjoyed the complete experience here. Unfortunately, when I went to get the second half of my sandwich, I noticed what looked like a dark beard hair on it.... as I was dining alone, and my long hair was tied up, definitely not mine. I called over my server, and I pointed it out to her... she asked if I wanted to have a new sammie or get it taken off the bill. I asked if I could pay for the soup, since I had finished it, but not the sammie and she absolutely agreed to that. I wrapped up my meal and left to keep going on my day. Mount Dora has public parking lots and street parking. All the shops are within walking distance and offer a wide variety of things to do, including a boat tour. It's an artists town so if you love art, you'll find plenty of inspiration! I really enjoyed Pisces Rising because they had an amazing musician while we were there. It added to the beautiful backdrop of the lake. They have $5 happy hour for mojitos and margaritas but I opted for one of the specialty butterfly pea cocktails. My friend and I got the crab cakes and sashimi tuna appetizer since we planned on trying out other places. It was one of the best appetizers and drinks. The bartender was awesome! She made amazing drinks and service was great even though she was in charge of all the customers at the bar. In addition to helping the inside staff. I'd definitely come back to chill with friends. My cocktail was supposed to be a Lemon Drop Martini but was lacking the lemon juice it needed. Chris seems like a nice guy but he might want to do a bit more oversight of what could be a great little restaurant, instead of hanging outside at the table near entrance with friends and smoking.
