    Blue cheese smash burger
    Jill L.

Loved the music! Really set the mood for the evening. The service was good, plenty of help and checked in on us enough but not too much. I enjoyed the blue cheese smash burger as far as the food but did not like the fries. That's just me though as my husband enjoyed the fries. The area was so quaint! I brought home the banana pudding which was over the top delicious and fresh!

This is the original burger with sautéed onions and plain fries. Legit amazing

I think I'm a regular at Marmadukes at this point. I love their daily specials and games most evenings. They have an unbeatable bottomless mimosas special for $15 on Sundays and $1 wings. They are very busy most evenings and mid-day Sundays, but servers are always kind. Out of the numerous times I've visited, food has been great 90% of the time. It's a fun, casual restaurant to visit.

We liked it! Only stopped in for a quick drink but we'd go back. Good service, cool decor, cold drinks. Nice locals spot. Food looked good.

First of all, my wife and I enjoy patronizing the local businesses in Leesburg but especially the restaurants. So we set out for one of our regular spots, Ski Beach Bar and Grill in Leesburg. So we normally go and have a drink and have something good off the menu. However this time the normal bartender, Tina, wasn't there, but we were all in anyway. We sat down and were ignored for approximately 10-15 mins by the bartenders on dut. So I know that you're probably wondering why am I YELPING Marmadukes Lodge yet typing words about another business. Well my wife and I were totally ignored at that other restaurant and decided to come down to Marmadukes Lounge and we were absolutely thrilled that we did. Upon entering the business Sam enthusiastically greeted us and proceeded to give us a run down of the drink menu including the various IPA's and mixed drinks available. We ultimately settled on the House Florida Old Fashion( abso delicious). The smash burger was recommended and didn't disappoint. While our evening started out with us being disrespected at a minimum Sam and the entire staff a Marmadukes totally represented what the local restaurants and bars should represent. I think we found our new spot!!!!

Mac and cheese, house salad, Florida Frenchy

The service was great here. Their website says they do curbside pick up however they do not. Luckily when we drove up the lady was kind enough to still do it! We got the cob salad, BLT, house salad, fries, the Florida Frenchy, tater tots, mac and fries. The cob salad is unique because it has corn on it! The house salad was really good and the tomato slice was nice and juicy (how a tomato should be). The show stopper for the salads was the ranch they have. It's so good. I wish we had the recipe. The BLT was PACKED with bacon. Like probably a whole pack of bacon, seriously. The mac was unfortunately very dry and flavorless so I wouldn't recommend getting that. Same with the fries. They're unique because they're fried in a similar batter as a fish batter but they're flavorless. We added a ton of salt and it did somewhat help. The tater tots were good but you could tell they were fried either with or after the fries and also needed lots of salt. The best part of our meal was the Florida Frenchy. No notes! It was seasoned well, cheesy, plenty of onions and au jus. Definitely recommend! Overall, the place is pretty decent if you're looking for some pub food.

This has great ambiance, TVs, Rock music, big bar and long high top tables. Available beer on the TV. Our server was very personable and checked on us just the right amount. Coke products but no Coke Zero. My salad was good. Hubby got fries which were unique and good. The menu wasn't huge, but they had many appetizers and traditional bar food options.

    Elk Appetizer - Amazing
    Jim J.

After a round at their Speakeasy next door, we stopped for a bite and one more round. Marmaduke's was a pleasant surprise with quite a solid local craft beer list, on draft and in cans. Creative cocktail menu as well but the most amazing thing was the Elk Appetizer. Large helping of succulent roasted elk perfectly dusted with spices and served on a bed of lettuce. Excellent keto option and super delicious; it beat the elk steaks we had in Colorado. Great spot for a date night, starting at the Burns Speakeasy that opens Friday and Saturday at 7, then dinner at Marmaduke's - live music was very good too. We'll definitely be back.

The sampler platter, Elk bites, fried pickles, fried green beans

Went here just at the tale end of happy hour. Nice little crowd. Cute little place decorated like a hunting lodge. They have a nice selection of craft beer plus all the regular domestics. As this was our first time we started off with the sampler platter so we could try and bit of everything. It included elk bites, fried pickles and fried green beans. They were ok. They came out screaming hot though! We like hot food! We had to ask for some kind of dipping sauce as nothing was served with it. The server brought some ranch dressing. Honestly this was enough food! So much food, we shouldn't have ordered more but..we shared the spicy chicken sandwich with macaroni and cheese as the side. It was also ok, the Mac and cheese could definitely use more cheese sauce (personal preference) The servers were all really friendly and attentive. All in all it was a fun place, Might go back and enjoy a few more craft beers

    Deep Terra DIPA. Great.

Great find! Have a fantastic beer list - draft and cans. We had a tasty lunch of a cheeseburger with tots and a chicken Cesar salad. Both hit the spot. Will come back!

It felt like stepping back in time. If you want a nice quiet afternoon, go to Leesburg. Walk the quiet streets of this lazy town, and visit this pub. People go and stay for hours and no one rushes you. I met a friend here. We enjoyed a nice meal and had a nice quiet place to sit, talk and catch up on each other's lives. The food was very "English." We split a gigantic pretzel and fish and chips. Had we both ordered our own, it would have been too much food. The waitress was very accommodating. She didn't rush us and was there whenever we needed anything. Although we stayed for about 2 hours, other customers were there longer than us! I definitely will return. It is about and hours drive from Orlando, yet a stark contrast.

Cheese sauce for pretzel was good. Ordered a burger and asked for medium. The bun bottom was soaked and wet in blood so I knew it had to be undercooked for sure. It was extremely rare. I didn't want to send back so I ate the outer parts of the burger but it really wasn't good. Fries are good. Not those breaded seasoned deep fried things everyone is going to. They were like a nice normal steak fry with salt and pepper. There were so many of those tiny gnats or fruit flies everywhere also. They got in our drinks and our food. It was annoying. Definitely means there are issues there.

Service with a Smile at Sawgrass Tavern…read more Last Sunday, my golf group and I (all 14 of us!) had lunch at Sawgrass Tavern in The Villages after our round. When I made the reservation, they planned to split us into two tables, which was fine -- but once we arrived, one of the golfers suggested pushing the tables together. So we did. They seated us in the spacious back room, probably thinking we'd be a lively bunch and wanting to spare the other guests. The Scottish décor -- a holdover from when it was McGrady's -- gave the room a cozy, fun feel. Our server, Georgia, was fantastic. Great sense of humor, knew the menu well, and handled our group like a pro. When we told her each couple needed separate checks, she immediately assigned numbers to keep everything straight. Smart, simple, and flawless. I ordered the Reuben, and I couldn't have made a better choice. Absolutely delicious. My spouse ordered the same, and once everyone's meals arrived, the whole room went quiet -- always a sign of happy diners. Even the sides impressed us, and my fries were perfectly crisp. I usually mix hot sauce with my ketchup and bring my own, but I forgot this time. I asked if they had Cholula; Georgia said they only carried Tabasco. But when my meal came out, she brought ketchup and a bottle of Cholula. She laughed and said, "The manager had Cholula, so I took it -- but don't tell him." Everyone had a great time socializing and enjoying their meals. Sawgrass Tavern definitely earned a spot in our future plans -- whether it's just my spouse and me or the whole golf crew again.
