Not sure if the other reviewers ate at the same place I did. The food was barely passable, there was only one waitress working on Saturday night, and she was grouchy and rude from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. When we tried to order shakes to go after our meal, she basically tried to talk us out of it by telling us it would be expensive and take a really long time. Overall a horrible experience. On this beautiful Independence Day I rode the rumble bee to Bee Gee's Diner in Rogue River. This is the quintessential small town diner. I ordered the lunch trio: 1/2 sandwich, soup and pie. The sandwich was okay; the vegetable soup was very good and the peach pie filling was good but the crust was excellent. As noted by other reviewers, there was only one waitress and she was very busy. As a consequence service was slow. The waitress and hostess were friendly. (The hostess said that often there is one waitress; occasionally two.) read more

Standard fare. We often get a burger or breakfast. Great chili, too! But, the BEST part is their homemade pie! It beats Sherry's in Grants Pass by a mile for pie. After looking at homes all morning we ended up in Rogue River. Came across this diner. It has that old diner feel but the waitress was fast and nice and the food was really really good. It may not look pretty on the outside or the inside but the food was amazing. My kids had the chili that was homemade and they ate it super fast!! The cornbread that came with it was huge! What a great place. Easy to find, plenty of parking. We were greeted at breakfast time with a smile and didn't wait long for waters and coffee to arrive. The surroundings are dated but nice and clean The menu is pure "diner" but offering a good variety. Our selections were biscuits and gravy, bacon, and chicken fried steak and eggs. All perfectly prepared as ordered and delicious. Like an earlier review said.."it's a diner". But it's doing it's diner thing and doing it very well. Give it a try!! read more

It was early so I went to my #2 place for breakfast. It all started out good and I placed my order. The food came quickly. I asked the waitress for some water and that was the last time I saw her. The food was good but the service was the less than expected. Soon the coffee was gone and I got the hiccups no water no nothing. Bee Gee's has the best breakfasts - great omelettes, yummy biscuits and gravy, tasty corned beef hash. I have heard they have the best cinnamon rolls, but haven't tried one. Lunches are standard diner fare. This place has quick and great service. And don't forget the pie. read more

This was the worst free sandwich I have ever had. DO NOT get any sandwich with "chicken breast". They don't actually have real chicken breast. They have spongy, dry, gross, reconstituted chicken patty. The waitress didn't come by and ask how things were until the end of the meal. When she finally showed up I told her the issue and she was very nice, apologized, comped the meal. I would much rather pay for a good sandwich than get a free inedible one. read more

Haven't been here in a while and popped in for some Pot roast and Mashed potatoes and gravy to go. I remember it being really good and worth the price. When I looked in the box and saw the dinner, I hoped no one else wanted potatoes or gravy that night because the mountain of potatoes and ocean of gravy they gave me most likely depleted them of their entire stock of both. The portion of Pot Roast however was a few small pieces of meat that aren't even worth mentioning. I paid $14.75 for this and you better believe after seeing it, I returned it as UNACCEPTABLE and got my money back. Had a hard time getting that because the server didn't know how to work the credit card machine for a refund and didn't even know if it was okay to do so. Really, and she was left in charge? She had to call a manager on the phone to ask what to do. Wow. I had to stand around and wait 15 minutes for her to get approval or instructions for the cc machine and in the end, she refunded me cash. Maybe their machine is too complicated. Really a shame because as I remember, this dish was quite flavorful. They could do better either lowering the price or serving a $14.75 meal of Pot Roast and trimmings, not $14.75 worth of Potatoes and gravy. read more

Stopped on the way from Crater Lake to Grants Pass. Regular diner food, slightly over priced for what you get. The food was average. A Tuna sandwich that I could probably make at home and a grilled ham and cheese also nothing special at all. Grilled chicken sandwich was average according to my husband. The service was very good and the restaurant was clean. The desserts were fantastic! Super thick chocolate shake and very large piece of really yummy chocolate cream pie. If you go, expect an average meal but definitely get dessert. read more

We have frequented this place over the years being locals. After reading that they scored a 72, 70 is failing after their recent County Health Restaurant Inspection, I decided to call and ask should What were they doing to fix this? The girl.... blah blah petty violations silly in fact! All Righty then. Went this past weekend to give them a look and see. 35 minutes before before we got our order. country fries potatoes had peppers onions raw not even fried [RAW] . ONE egg instead of two. In fact one of our guests had to made over 5 plus minutes for hers to show up after we got our meals.........BOOOOO!!! Hash browns were ruined... burned outside uncooked inside....in fact everyones meal sucked eight of us there together. Even serving coffee......waitresses never make decafe until someones orders it otherwise one gets mud from it sitting there so long. In fact a few tell you they remember Who drinks regular and who drinks decafe at every table. IN FACT KEN claims the same thing. Now how four possible people can do this is Magic. Almost every waitress poured regular or attempted to in a DEcafe cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While I suggested cup coaster likes 95% places utlize TO LET THE SERVER WHO HAS DECAFE .....Mr. Ken was uninterested to say the least. To close.........to have the waitress hide for 35 minutes instead of touching our table for the delay....then be told GEE sorry both cooks are NEW....just had an $80 hour order is weak!! This is the worst restaurant to eat in rouge river. My eggs had a piece of metal in them. They replaced my plate fast but it looked like they just removed the piece of metal off the eggs because the food was cold. The forks smelled like fish. Not clean at all.
