Just had a really good late lunch here. The garden vegetable soup had a least 10 vegetables in it. It was very good. I had a club sandwich. They put sliced avocado on it which gave it an extra layer of flavor. The onion rings were crisp, not soggy and they weee a good size. My server had a beautiful smile and was very pleasant. I was tired, cold and just wanted something warm & tasty without having to get dressed up This is a real diner in the small town of Rogue River with all the entrees you'd expect. The portions are good size and the food is tasty with a different twist. The salmon chowder is a definitely try. It is thick, tasty with chunks of salmon and potato. Pork chops and fried chicken are good. The chicken has crunchy shards on it and the chicken is moist inside. Mashed potatoes are real. Mixed veggies have a strong seasoning that is good. Went here 2 days in a row. First time I have the Pork Benedict and it was amazing. So much so, my wife got it the second day. I had the Country Scramble, and although it was good the Pork Benedict was the star. Friendly atmosphere and outside dining if the weather is right. My second visit this morning for a very late breakfast. Chicken fried steak hit the mark. Hash browns done crispy. Gravy was thick and meaty. Eggs were over easy just like I asked for. Just delicious. Portions were huge! I was quite surprised at how many people were there at that time. Kind of a pre lunch crowd. Not expected for a small town. We have eaten at this restaurant 3 times over that past several days. The soups are homemade and outstanding. My husband ordered clam chowder and said it was almost as good as his grandmas. I eat a here every 3 or 4 days and I always get the same thing - Cheeseburger and french fries with a side of onion rings (sometimes get the coconut creme pie too). The food is always fresh, well cooked and the leftovers are amazing I always take the leftover onion rings and fries and they're enough for a couple of more snacks. We actually visited this establishment for dinner and breakfast. We arrived later in the evening so there was only one elderly gentleman at the bar near the kitchen. The seating is "Seat Yourself" but we were directed as to which section. We were immediately greeted by Amber who took our drink order, and we wanted some comfort food so I ordered the pot roast with whipped mashed potatoes and roasted carrots, with the option of a green salad. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak also with mashed potatoes and he chose the navy bean soup. My salad came right away which I preferred and it consisted of your basic iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes and olives with a few strips of cheese. The pot roast was very tasty with the ends crisped nicely. The gravy was delicious and the potatoes were fluffy. The meal came with a biscuit not sure if it was home made? The portions were quite generous as my husband and I both had some food left over. He appeared to enjoy the chicken fried steak and remarked on how good the gravy tasted. We also ordered a bacon avocado burger to go for our daughter which she later remarked was quite good. Having said that we liked the food so much we decided to return for breakfast. The place was quite busy unlike the evening before. The coffee was a bit on the watery side and I got a second cup but it was also not flavorful. I ordered the waffle with two eggs over medium with bacon, which comes with three strips. My husband ordered the half Cinammon roll with scrambled eggs and bacon as the rolls are huge (see photo). Our daughter ordered the carnitas benedict which as a culinary trained chef - she remarked the meal was perfect and just as it should be with a very nicely flavored hollandaise sauce, so high marks for that. Other then the weak coffee we had to flag down the buss person to get any water as Chelsea our server just kept forgetting. All in all I preferred our dinner and would possibly return for breakfast another time. The prices are reasonable for the quality of home made food. read more

I am local. Took my elderly mother who was visiting out of town. We just wanted a milkshake. The waitress tonight asked how many and directed us to pick a seat. We asked to sit outside. She was condescing to all of us. Stating " Sure" , rudley, then tells us where are you going the only door is up front " rudely. We found our way to the front. Terrible customer service.!! It's quite misleading from the moment you walk in the door. Although the diner opened w/the love of Bee Gee's, it now a gun toting, fly gathering, dog visiting health code violation with no reference to the Bee Gee's or the love they stood for. Although I love dogs, the non-therapy dog who ate from the table and had no manners, did not belong there. Three things in our order came out incorrectly. Even though 1 mistake was wait staff error, we were charged. Stickers on planters expound viewpoints about "Americans Over Illegals." Most of the customers are locals who spew personal political opinions paired w/verbal threats loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. Customers who generalize how stupid people are who have differing beliefs from theirs are always part of a problem, not the solution. Staff mistakenly got themselves involved w/these conversations and affirmed what the attention seeking man said. I know there are open carry states but I don't live in one. It's always shocking to see an elder on oxygen sitting at the diner counter with his gun. But when he pulled the fly swatter out and started killing flies at the counter, we knew it was time to go. Over the past year, there have been many occasions when we've been completely ignored by the management and staff at this restaurant. This morning was the last draw. Our waitress did an excellent job, however when we went to check out the manager and other employees completely ignored us at the counter, checked out three separate transactions even though we were first in line and had been patiently waiting. We received zero customer service at the counter. If this were an isolated incident, I would not write this review, this has happened numerous times. They have lost our business and respect. We got the chance to explore Rogue River a bit while staying up here, and we thought we'd give Bee Gee's a chance. We're glad we did - they were following all the COVID precautions, and it was similar to other diners throughout Oregon and my home state of Nevada. I took it all apart put it in the toaster oven to see if I could eat it but their ground beef is inedible. I go out to eat with my 13-year-old daughter and she writes the review. Let me start with, I just got braces last week so I may have a bad attitude about food in general, but I'll do my best not to let it hinder my review. When I drove up I noticed that there was still a string of Christmas lights strung over the entry door. Which might seem like a bad thing, but I mean who doesn't like a little bit of extra colours. Overall the exterior of the place gave me the kind of vibes that you might find at a road stop or gas station after hours of driving. Which is to say that it looked both welcoming, messy but somehow neat aesthetic. Anyway, inside the place gave off a really vintage vibe, which I'm pretty sure was on purpose, especially considering the classic 60s music (I think it's 60s, I don't really know for sure though). I ordered a simple pancake with sausage link. The pancake was good, a little soft for me (I like mine crispy around the edges) and the butter was a little too salty, but overall it a generally nice pancake. I didn't actually eat any of the sausage but my dad said it was good. I did have some of my grandma's (she came with us) bacon however, which was very good, even if she thought it wasn't crispy enough (ofc she likes hers practically burnt so take that as you will). Charlie Brown Christmas music and a certain sense of calm and confidence, maybe (40) years! Greeted as I walked in and met with a smiling friendly face of Cynthia, my waitress. A stark contrast from my dinner experience last night! The Hot to Trot omelet was perfect and the sourdough toast had color and great taste along with the blackberry jam. Seems you can never find blackberry jam at restaurants theses days! Well the blast from the past was a huge hit for me! Worst meal we've ever had, no exaggeration. We couldn't even eat. Everything had a weird taste, including the Bloody Mary. Ordered the veggie burger and my drink came with a piece of bacon in it! Put 2 and 2 together people! Prime rib tough and over done, mushy broccoli, and I don't know what they did to it but even the baked potato was inedible.
