Nice dinner at Beachfire, they were busy but the wait was made better with drinks from the bar. My strawberry margarita was delicious. We had chicken wings for an appetizer- the honey buffalo was well balanced and the Smokey taste made them better than your typical bar food. I had the 'that's my jam' burger and the pb&j spin was really tasty. My husband enjoyed the rancher chicken sandwich. Anytime we are in Ogunquit, BeachFire is a must for us! By far the best chicken wings we have ever had! They are cooked perfectly with the right amount of crisp! This place was a great find! I have had a place up here for 3 years and just found this place. The pulled pork nachos are amazing. The chicken tenders are hot when you cut in them and huge! We were in Ogunquit for New Year's 2023. We went to the BeachFire Bar & Grill at about 6:15 pm on New Year's Eve. We only had a 30-minute wait, and the service was terrific. As busy as they were, even the manager was running around like crazy, yet she made the time to stop by and clarify food options for food sensitivities. Great bbq spot. We sat inside at a booth. Our server was great and very friendly. I like that this spot has specials throughout the week. We went on 50 cent wing night. The wings are outstanding. The honey bbq were top notch and a A+. The teriyaki were great but maybe a tad salty but still great. My wife ordered the brisket platter. Heads up, the rub on the meat is a tad spicy. There's a warning on menu. Her brisket was tender and flavorful. The coleslaw was homemade and very good. The beans and potatoes were just ok. Beans seemed to be canned and our potatoes needed butter which is why I'm giving a 4/5. We had a really nice time and would return. I'd give this place 5/5 A++ for those wings. My wife had a Buffalo chicken sandwich, which she declared to be "average." The fries were good. I got the special smoked ribeye, ordered medium-rare. It was a thin piece of meat, which was well-done and hard to chew. Neither of the bartenders came over to ask how everything was and if we needed anything. Not once! I would have immediately sent it back if they had. I ate the Brussel sprouts and cornbread. The steak came home for my lucky dog. Was looking forward to my first lobster roll of the season. Unfortunately, it was the worst lobster roll I've ever had in my life. The lobster itself was small chunks and cold. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed they just serve it that way. But the grilled hotdog roll and bowl of butter were both cold as well. In the lobster meat was the most bland I've ever tasted. At least the lettuce in the roll was the right temperature. Unfortunately I hate lettuce in my lobster rolls so overall a 0 out of 10 ranking. So why the four stars you are wondering? Well, I really like this place and the servers are very sweet. So I will still come back, but will never order another lobster roll here. Then they slather on this wonderful sweet and tangy bbq sauce and grill them. The flavor was amazing and they were fall-off-the-bone tender. And who would ever think to smoke lobster?! Well, they did and from what my very friendly and attentive server,Jennifer, told me it took much trial and error to get it right. And get it right they did! Great service; great food! Arrived around 5:45 on a Friday night and immediately found seats at the bar.; service is usually great at bar and tonight was no exception. Chuck and Nick were our bartenders and were attentive to our drink and dinner orders. Additionally, meeting the locals, who know where to eat, at the bar is enjoyable and enlightening! We tried the 'dusted' fries and fried pickles; I highly recommend both. The dusted fries had a little 'Cajun bite' to them and were served with ranch dressing. The pickles were accompanied by aioli sauce. For dinner we ordered the pulled pork sandwich and baby back ribs. Both were served with corn on the cob and the ribs had homemade cornbread as a side option. Both meals were fabulous! The corn bread was decadent!! DO NOT miss the cornbread!! My wife and I live within easy walking distance to this establishment. There is a horrible bartender there that does not prefer the patronage of either me or my wife . His name is Chuck. He is the most obnoxious individual to serve behind any bar my wife and I have ever observed. I was a professional pilot for at least fifty years all around the world. My wife was also an international world traveler in business . We both have been involved in our own businesses together and separately. As a client and business owner I would never entertain such a person as the bartender Chuck to represent my business to the public. Therefore, we do not recommend patronizing this establishment, especially recognizing the fact that there are so many great options in the Ogunquit area. My wife is a fifth generation native so she is very aware of the businesses in the area. We will NEVER attempt patronize this place and highly others to do the same. BTY, the first time we walked in about four years ago, we sat at the bar in late afternoon. An off duty employee who just finished his finished his shift at the kitchen, of all places, sat down at the bar near us, took a shot of whatever. Next thing we knew, he went completely over backwards on his barstool onto the floor. Kinda makes you wonder what was going on in the kitchen during his shift.
