The restaurant is located in a nestled spot but has a good atmosphere. The food came out relatively quick and there were plenty of staff available for accommodations of those dining in. There's also an area for ice cream.

Gray patches In my Corned Beef are disturbing.. I

I thought the gray splotches in the corn beef would make me sick, but it did not, did not eat for the rest of the day to minimize vomiting or the other end. Google said it could be nitrate free corned beef . Does not seem like the likely option for this place. We have always been happy with the breakfast here . Glen was not happy at all with his salad, the onion rings had a dip which was way too spicy. I DID NOT EAT SALAD HERE!! YELP

Service is very good, even though they are busy. Despite being busy the ambiance feels good. Roast beef was great, hot tender all was wonderful. I feel I'm at my grandmas house for Sunday dinner. Which was always a treat. Will I return? Sir Yes Sir

This restaurant has been in business for many years and is an institution in Westminster. The service was good. Our server has been here for 20+ years. Food was okay. The New York strip steak was a little bland for my taste. The onion rings were good. One could choose from their different pies with option of serving it with ice cream. The egg custard pie was fine though I was expecting it to be a little sweeter. After eating, I went to their market where they sold fresh fruits and vegetables, pies, jams. Overall, I will give it 3 stars for affordable price, good food, and homey ambience.

Came here for lunch for the first time with my husband and some friends. Hubby and I ordered their snack attack appetizer, their chili cheese fries appetizer, chef salad, and their beef bbq sandwich. What's hot - Service. We came here on a long weekend, when the wineries were full, so it was difficult finding somewhere we could actually get food and service. We totally appreciate they were able to seat us right away, as well. Service was good and prompt and we didn't have any issues. - Menu. Pretty decent variety- meats and veggies. One of our friends is vegan and she had options, which was helpful. Their breakfast is generally served all day, with the exception of specific items, like hotcakes and specific omelettes, so be prepared on the time of day you come. Their dessert menu looks great. - Portions and price. Good value for money. - Quality. Not bad, but not great. It appears the cheese on my chili cheese fries appetizer was velveeta cheese, but oh well. Tasted decent. They put a good amount of ground beef and bacon on my fries, as well. One of our friends ordered their fried chicken, which came our tender and not overly battered. - Parking. There's a decent size parking lot, which is helpful, because this spot appears popular with the locals. - Shop. The restaurant is right next door to the market, which is extremely helpful in that you can get some food shopping done while you're there. What's not - Quality. As previously mentioned, not bad, but not great. This place appears to cater towards the locals and random tourists/passersby. It's nothing to write home about, but it's dependable. Final answer Not bad. Probably wouldn't be on my list of top places to return to, but it's good and dependable.

What you see is what you get. It's a little old fashioned, but it's cheap and quick way to get your bacon, eggs and toast.

Collision Course absolutely delivered…read more We ordered the shrimp and grits, the Kill Bill salad, and the BBQ chicken egg rolls, and every dish hit. The shrimp and grits were outstanding, creamy, cheesy grits with just the right consistency. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender with great flavor, and the dish had a light touch of broth that brought everything together without overpowering it. The mix of red onions and green onions really made the dish and added just the right balance. The Kill Bill salad was fantastic. Two whole chicken breasts, fried crispy and golden, sitting on a fresh, well-balanced salad. The chicken was juicy on the inside with a great crunch. definitely not an afterthought "salad chicken." The BBQ chicken egg rolls were another standout. Crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside, and paired with a delicious sauce that complemented them perfectly. They're rich but not heavy, easy to keep reaching for another. Great food, great execution, and everything felt thoughtful and well done. We'll absolutely be back.

I was put onto Collision Course by some locals -- they swore by it -- so I had to check it out…read more I ordered shrimp and egg rolls, with mac & cheese and collard greens on the side, plus some sauce to go with the shrimp. Let's start with the egg rolls -- these were filled with BBQ chicken and done just right. Not too hard, not too soft... perfect texture and flavor. Big fan. The shrimp were good overall. I personally would've liked a little more seasoning, but once I paired them with the sauce, it all came together nicely. Now the sides? The mac & cheese was very good, and the collard greens were on point -- and most importantly, not overloaded with stems (huge win for me ). They do have indoor seating, but I'd recommend making a reservation if you're going with a group. Parking is available right in front, but it looked a little limited, so that's something to keep in mind. The customer service was solid, and the music playing in the background gave the place a great vibe. Overall, this was a good experience, and if I'm ever back in Westminster, I'm definitely pulling up again.

If you want a "just average" eating experience you should skip Rock Salt…read more It was fantastic. But, get there early, make a reservation, or be prepared to wait. My brother and I wanted something for lunch after going to a car swap meet. We landed on Rock Salt Grille. I'd eaten there several times before. We arrived at 11:45 AM (Saturday) and there was a 30 minute wait, so we grabbed two comfortable seats at the bar. A good call. I had the Rock Salt Oysters, broiled with bacon and parmigiana. Delightful. I also had the cream of, and Maryland crab, soup combination. My brother had the crab cake sandwich. I'd had it before, but wanted the oysters. His crab cake sandwich was double the size of any I'd ever seen, without exaggeration. He guessed it was 8 ounces or more, without exaggeration, with no visible filler, (Broiled). I had a few beers and we split the Bread pudding with Grand Marnier sauce. It was enough for four. The bar and food service was spectacular with "tag teaming" to make sure we didn't wait for anything. I'd like to thank the bartenders who served us perfectly: Kelsey and Nikkea. Award winners. Rock Salt is not inexpensive, but the quality of the food and the great service justify the premium. I'll be back more often

Two of us ordered the stuffed rockfish which both said was delicious and there were no problems with the dish. Did have a problem with a photo so that is why you don't see one below. The old bay wings were cooked perfectly. The dressing was extremely good and the celery was the best I have ever had. It was light and crispy. I normally don't eat celery, but this was incredible. I was impressed. The double crab cake dinner was perfect, along with the green beans and baked potato. The lobster and filet mignon were cooked well and to order. The accompanying green beans and baked potato were also perfect. The waiter was prompt, polite and accommodating. We were checked on by the hostess, and the general manager was seen monitoring the restaurant. The ambiance was excellent. The restaurant was noisy, but this is to be expected since the restaurant was almost at capacity. I only saw one table for two that was empty. When we left an hour later, we were the only guests left in the back dining room. The rest of the restaurant was at or near capacity.
