My husband has been here several times, however, this was my first visit. We ordered the crab dip, shrimp, and fries. We sat at the bar to eat lunch and the bartender was very attentive to our needs. My family and I came here after passing by numerous times. When we walked in it was like a flash back to the 90s. The decor was outdated and it was poorly lit. There was maybe like three other people there but no one greeted us when we entered and the bartender seated us. The table we got was two small tables put together and had a table cloth haphazardly put on it. The seats were worn terribly and the table was cracked. The only thing we tried was one chicken wing and despite ordering it with mild sauce, it had no sauce. The calamari was bland and the kids meals were just sad. I would not recommend anyone to come here. It feels like this establishment should be a bar only and even then that is questionable. Today 4-10-2024, Again we ate at this lower level parking & eating restaurant and are happy to have had lunch there. Each Wednesday, we enjoy the nice fat flavorable briney oysters on the half shell that we get a couple of dozen. Only a dollar apiece! Other entrees are available too. Soup d'Jour today was a decent beef stew. Daughter enjoyed a Ruben Open-face sandwich; but, I don't like that the sauerkraut was fried/sautéed with off-tasting beef drippings oil as it was unpleasant to me, and to some degree to them. Plenty of items to choose. This place has regular live bands and dancing on. Fridays & Saturdays. We are elderly and want good food that doesn't upset out G-Tract; so we keep going back for more. This place isn't a fine dining experience by any means but it's an awesome local "dive" bar and restaurant that serves amazing seafood! It's got a vintage 90s Western meets East coast vibe which was welcoming for us. Service was excellent as was the food! Front end manager that night was a little off-putting discussing staffing with a staff member right in front of us instead of seating us right away and not saying goodbye when we left...that little stuff goes a long way in retaining good customers. I went here to visit a good friend while in town. We were there to see a band,I can't remember the name now (sorry). I only ordered a bowl of Maryland crab soup and found it underwhelming. It was so salty I couldn't finish it. It didn't have very much crab meat in it, I just found it to be disappointing. I grew up in Maryland and when I visit, I usually order crab soup and a crabcake everywhere I go. During this trip, this was the only bowl of soup that I couldn't eat.... I don't want to judge an entire place on one bowl of soup. The staff seemed friendly and my friends were regulars. I walked in with my father to get some food and was told to go to the bar to order our food to go, and when we had gotten to the bar to order, I was told to stand near the wall and couldn't even look at the menu to order, and customers also yelled, "Yeah, go wait near the wall." This has to be one of the worst places to eat anywhere. We had been semi regular customers a few years ago. We moved away but today being back in town we decided to go back to one of our old favorites. We are not sure what happened but let me start with our waiter Jake, not only did he not know the menu, he also took one of our orders wrong and then proceeded to blame my son for his mistake. Really, you never ever blame your customers. He would disappear for long period of times and we waited almost 20 minutes for our bill before asking someone else to get him for us. I had to clear our plates to the table next to us because he didn't. This kid was the worst waiter ever. Now the food, my overly prices steamed shrimp was overly cooked with no flavor, my son's burger's bun was overly toasted. My granddaughter's burger was dry as could be, the mozzarella sticks dry with no seasoning, the cream of crab soup again no seasoning I had to add salt to it. Then to top it off my husband's dinner chicken Parmesan was dry overly cooked chicken and had no flavor. My husband who eats that a lot at different restaurants said it was the worst chicken parm he has ever had. The fries were also terrible. It was to bad because the reason we went was for his birthday. All in all, we will never ever go back considering how expensive this dinner was and how grossly terrible it all was never again. We've been getting our crabs from Lou and Kenny since the summer of 2020. Last night's birthday order was great. The 50 oysters were scrubed clean! In all fairness, oysters are not always scrubbed as clean as last night's. The loaded potato skins were good and had lots of bacon pieces. I loved the pickled beets. And the shrimp/mac salad was good. The only negative about last night's order was that I had to remember to order dressing on the side. There are no penalties for that. He said will redo I was with a friend who long before finished her food. Got burger cut it SLIGHTLY pink inside. Began to eat. All around outside of burger was well done. Years ago this place was a 'hang out' for the Baltimore Colts and was very popular. Westminster was spring training for the Colts years ago and more recent the Raven's football. Today the new ownership has improved the place offers many social activities in the evenings, but a lot of canned and fried foods. Still, the place has such good seafood it's hard to give them a bad rating. Very good crab cakes, mostly a bar restaurant local place. Went here after playing Westminster National since it was one of the closest things I found on Yelp with good reviews. It is definitely a rustic/western style restaurant with a pretty nice size bar and wooden tables and chairs. Every TV had Nascar on and it seemed to be a place popular with the locals. I sat at the bar and ordered a few beers, moderately priced. They only have a couple on tap and only one was a non macro brew like Coors or Miller. The food was ok. I ordered the gyro platter and it was huge, but very messy to eat and they served it with pita chips so I ended up just eating the meat with a fork. I knew better than to order a gyro at a western restaurant but the bartender highly recommended it. Needless to say it was better going in than coming out... The service at the bar left something to be desired as the bartender seemed like she was lost and didn't really know much about the beer or food menu. Most of the food was really expensive too, especially from a restaurant of this style. They had chain prices (i.e. Lone Star, Texas Roadhouse) with some items as much as 25 dollars. The only thing moderately priced were the sandwiches. I would probably try somewhere else if you're in that area. read more

The supposed owner Stanley, is deceptive in his business practices. He increases prices mid evening/mid dinner, without your knowledge. There are no notifications posted or verbal communication to let a patron know their next drink will cost you more. When you question the bill, he crosses his arms and ignores his patrons. He is far from being an honest businessman. Because of his arrogance and dismissive attitude, I hsve notified the BBB, RAM and liquor licensing board. read more

Our first time here so we weren't really sure what to expect. The food was really good. The only complaint I have about the food is I ordered the Chicken Penne Pasta and there was a lot of pasta and not a lot of chicken. Good flavor though. It didn't come with any sides. It took a long time to get someone to wait on us. Finally an awesome waiter named Dalton said he would take care of us since our waitress/waiter couldn't be found. He did a fantastic job of checking on us and delivering drinks through the madhouse this place became once live music took the stage. Once the live music started our evening went downhill fast. The band was Big Jack is unbelievably good. An AC/DC tribute band that I would love to see again but can't deal with the crowds. The dance floor was completely packed with people and they weren't dancing. We had a table along the wall by the band and we got packed in and blocked by so many people in the place. They were way over capacity. Forget trying to get through the crowd to go to the bathrooms on the other side of the bldg. This place needs to limit the number of people they allow. They need to be more concerned with their patrons safety and less about how much $ they can take in. Their cover charge is $7 where most places it's still $5. read more
