Had a good breakfast Saturday. They were really busy and we had to sit in the back room. It was kinda cold back there that's my only complaint. My husband and I got the Bacon & Hash bowl with two eggs over easy. It was really good. The eggs were perfect. I forgot to take a picture. The server was really nice and now I've forgotten her name, sorry. She brought me a container for my left overs and damn I forgot and left it on the table!! 1st visit was for Breakfast my son , my Wife and I. My food and my sons food was good. My wife's came with a bonus peice of paper cooked into her eggs 2nd visit for lunch/dinner all good though service was slow 3rd visit. Dinner on NewYears Day. Restraunt seemed to be empty. Waited 40 minutes for an egg roll appetizer. Waited a total hour for our light fare order. Ended with 1 bite of a Reuben sandwich that was overcooked and dried up. Took the ceaser salad with us. One waitress in the place who was working a room in the back but never told us we would be waiting an hour for our food. Apologized and took crappy sandwich off the bill. Unfortunately we are done. I use to appreciate Spargos as it's close to home serving gyros but it seems that quality I once saw as acceptable has slid to nearly unacceptable. Dry, tasteless and the meat not grilled after cutting. read more

I'm in love with the new owners and chefs at Spargos. They have updated their menus and the food is amazing. I highly recommend their cheesesteaks which have real steak strips on brioche rolls. Their Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and sauce comes with naan bread. The sauce is perfect. The chicken was so juicy and tender. I love their Southern Fried Chicken which included 3 large boneless chicken breasts. I got a side of gravy with it. I also got some of their Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts and a side mixed salad with a citrus vinaigrette dressing. I will definitely be back and this is my new go to restaurant. read more

My review is based just on the atmosphere and downstairs bar area. I did not eat but had a few glasses of wine. This is a local hang out with a cool downstairs to watch bands. The seating was a bit uncomfortable, high back, hard booths. Hard to see band over the height of the booths. Love the pools tables. Definitely a cool little place to get a drink, I hope to be back to try the food. read more

Apparently there is a new owner who has totally changed the menu. It used to have more basic mid-range decent food. I really want to support local businesses but I've eaten here 4 times and been dissatisfied each time. Tonight my friend had a cheese steak sub with no cheese and mostly gristle. When she mentioned the lack of cheese the server just said oh. and made no offer to resolve the issue. Sorry to make such a dismal comment but I could not recommend Spargos. Went there tonight for dinner. The menu is very eclectic - a little bit of Indian, a little bit of Italian, some Greek, etc. The smash burgers were ok - nothing to write home about. But the curry, oh the curry. Having grown up with lots of Indian food, I have been craving some good Indian food. The Indian section was small, but it was amazing. The chef is Indian, and definitely makes some amazing curry. Not sure if I would go back for the burgers, but I would definitely go back for the Indian food. read more

There must have been a water leak in the bar area. There was orange cone in the hallway. The floor was dirty, bathroom was dirty and bar had an odor. The beer coming from the tap was foamy and warm. Sounds like dirty lines. Food was good, but overpriced. read more

I was extremely disappointed when my husband and I went there this past weekend. There was a sign that said, "Seat Yourself" so we walked to an empty booth. We waited and waited and waited for 10 minutes before finally walking out. We tried several times to get the attention of a server, but we were ignored every time. NOBODY even looked at us. A family walked in after us, seated themselves and were greeted by a server even before they sat down. It was clear that the server knew them by the way she greeted them. This was one of the servers we tried to get to come to our table. I can't review the food because we were never given the opportunity to order. Well I ust picked up 40 dollars of disappointment from spargos. They did not disappoint. Crabby fries that gave me eye strain looking for any actual crab meat served over fries that evidently had been baked (not fried) just long enough to thaw them out. Nasty soggy garbage.. Then on to the main course 2 chicken chesapeake sandwiches for my bride and I. They looked as though they had been assembled by a 4 year old. On the wrong roll also. We don't do take out often. Got the fried seafood platter. The first thing is that their web site said that there was fried oysters on the platter and there were none. The crab cake was the only thing that had any seasoning. The fish, scallops, and shrimp were all bland and overcooked. The cream of crab soup was all cream and no crab. I did go close to their 11pm closing time and it looked like there was no adult supervision, but I do expect to get what I pay for. I have been to Spargos twice and the 2nd time I was disappointed and thought I would try again. We ordered carry out tonight for Father's Day. I ordered baby back ribs with dry rub only/no sauce. What I got was gross and even if it was great there were only 2.5 ribs which is not enough, even for a 120 lb female. It was wet meat with some brown slop on it that couldn't be identified. So in the trash it went because I couldn't bring myself to eat it because of it's unidentifiable origin. Oh, btw....we did talk to the manager/Jack and he had no clue what was going on in his kitchen but did say "next time he's going to give us free ribs. NEXT TIME! There will never be a next time. What about now - I'm hungry. This place is horrible. read more

How do these people not know that their pizza is awful? It makes me so sad when a nice family owned business seems to not even try. Aside from getting our order wrong, we noticed the pizza just seems to be made with low quality ingredients. I've had frozen pizza that was better and that's a shame. read more

The soup was luke warm and wasn't seasoned all that well (under seasoned) and the Salad was just a disappointing mix of ingredients of average quality (a lot of ice burg lettuce, cherry tomatoes that were like land mines...they might explode in a bad way if you know what I mean) Service was average. We're not from around here or familiar with this town. Saw Spargos while driving by and stopped in. I feel like we got lucky and picked one of the best places around here. Very welcoming and cozy environment. Our waitress was excellent and the food was VERY good. The menu was huge, so lots to choose from. This place is marvelous service is outstanding and so is the food. I have gone in at breakfast and dinner and it was packed both times but they still found the time to talk to you. I got the mountain man for breakfast and it was delicious and affordable. For dinner I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was outstanding. The place is very clean and comforting. Austin and Samantha helped us out with getting our food, but all the servers had a bright smile on there face. I will be back again and have told all my friends how wonderful this place is 10/10. read more
