I read the reviews. I had to see and taste for myself. The Italian cold cut is the absolute bomb. I look forward to trying some of their hot subs. Absolutely the best cold sub out there. read more

I can't believe I never went here before. I got the Italian extravaganza and yes it was. Good hoagies and good people! read more

I came in during COVID for a sub. It was fresh and yummy. Exactly what I would expect from a good deli. I marked off a star because both the ladies there were not wearing masks properly and even had partially exposed mouths. In this day and age, that definitely counts for your or against you. read more

Great Italian sandwich shop. Has indoor tables in the mall behind the deli and lots of parking in the back. Went there for lunch on a weekday and service was really fast. read more

Wonderful, friendly staff and fantastic customer service! It was my first time stopping in today and was beyond pleased with the soup and sandwich. Will be going back for the pasta and desserts which looked amazing. Thank you for a great experience and so happy to have found you! read more

Wonderful subs, friendly staff. I ordered a few subs for a small party and everyone loved them. The whole atmosphere reminds me of the delis where I grew up on Long Island. Highly recommend! read more

This place was awesome !! Got some gabagoul some salami garlic Brad also had pulled pork ... this place is off the hook ... had huge calzones and lasagna trays wow!!!!! read more

Crab cakes were great! Highly recommend!! The new ownership is excellent and attentive.

Hands down they make the best Italian cold cut I have ever had. They are highly requested at family gatherings so I order them deconstructed and everyone can "make their own". They provide every topping and the meat and cheese are pre portioned. As soon as you enter, the delicious smells hit you and you know you are in an Italian deli. read more

This a great deli that is family owned and operated. The food is fantastic and the service is too!

Great for everything- salads are fantastic, we get the subs all the time and while I'm there I often grab something (lasagna, stuff shells, eggplant parm, meatballs) to take home for dinner. Also a great option if you want a tray of subs or plan of lasagna for a party! The shrimp salad is one of my favorites! The nicest owners! read more

I had an Italian sub over the weekend. It was really good and the people who work there are very friendly. A great place for lunch when visiting Westminster, MD. read more

Delicious subs, lasagna, imported pastas and snacks. A different homemade soup everyday.

Italian cold cut... probably could do without the pepper spread but the portion was huge!! Yeah, yeah, I'm a wimp with my spices! Maybe I'll ask for a smidge next time. This is a solid spot. The owner is retired Army which is a huge bonus since my husband is currently active. I wish the parking situation was better. It's a no frills on point local joint. Can't wait to come back and maybe next time we can get some freshly baked bread on our way out. read more

Little Italy meets Westminster (CarrollCo) with this spot. Billy's deli is top shelf. Mamas chicken salad is great. My go to is his Italian Subs "all the way". Hands down the best Italian sub in Carroll. Lots of other choices here like Instructional Dinner classes for date night, cannoli, meatballs, imported meats, olive oils the list goes on. Get your ITA fix here. Quote me! read more

Giulianova - Best sub in CarrollCo and one of the best in MD period! I've tried most of them. Order it "All The Way" or how u want it. - International Grocery Near Me - Westminster, Maryland

Cutest little Italian spot I have seen in a long time! Imported Italian groceries, cheeses, meats. I could have spent all day in there. As it was, I just stopped in to get a bite to eat on my way out of town. The owner was very nice and hooked me up with prosciutto, mozz & balsamic on a half hoagie roll for just $5. You don't get prosciutto anything for just $5! That's awesome- I expected it to be pricier. This place is the real deal! If only Westminster wasn't so far out of the way of everything! read more

Giulianova - a storefront with a flag hanging outside - International Grocery Near Me - Westminster, Maryland

I got Italian Roast Beef Sub, so delicious. Friendly people, definitely worth trying.

Carroll's Best Deli according to Carroll's Best magazine. I would agree. I like the fact they have access from a parking lot and main street. They do a lot of different things too- pit beef, crab soups, italian dishes to take home and cook yourself, deli sandwiches. The deli meet is very fresh and good. My only real problem is that the person preparing my sandwich did not wear gloves. I assume his hands were clean, but I would have really liked to see them wearing gloves. Also, I got a hot pastrami sandwich and it was put in microwave instead of on a cooktop. read more

the best value for the buck. The food is so good. Had the lasagna and my son can never get enough food there. They heat it and it is ready to eat. Love the place. read more

We had our rehearsal dinner here tonight, and it was amazing! We worked closely with Bill to plan the menu: Italian sausage and peppers to start, with garlic bread, salad, two kinds of pasta (vegetarian baked ziti and lasagna with meatballs), and cannoli for dessert. Bill was super easy to work with, really accommodating and flexible. We got to use their back room to hold the dinner, and they put out flowers on the tables and let us choose the music. It was super low key and casual, which is what we wanted; it was important to us to have a relaxing night before the big day, and Giulianova did not disappoint. Most importantly, everybody loved the food! We got compliments all night. And at the end of the evening, they boxed up our leftovers for us because they knew we were entertaining out of town family. Would definitely recommend for small private events (our group was about 12 people). read more

The Italian cold cut is amazing! You can not go wrong with whatever you decide to get from here!! It's all fresh cut Italian deli style and a co worker and I crave it occasionally read more

I miss working in westminster because of this place. Pure authentic Italian. Get the Italian sub, just get it, and let him do what he wants, he is a master. There is a little grocery store with Italian imports which is great but just go and get anything he makes there. Did I mention the Italian sub? My mouth is watering. Not many places have a better sub. read more

Giulianova has the BEST Italian Cold Cut in Carroll County. The ingredients are always fresh and the owner makes everyone feel right at home whether you've been there 100 times or this is your first visit. The crabcakes, when crabs are in season, are also very good. You can buy a complete meal to take home with you. In the Spring and Summer, they have pit beef, pit ham, and pit turkey, all to die for. If you are in the area, or are looking for a nice, friendly place to visit stop into Giulianova's. read more

This place is amazing. The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff are very friendly. And to boot, it has a great hometown deli atmosphere. It's great having people who really care make your food. Try everything, especially their Italian cold cut and their canoli. It's the best part of Westminster in my opinion. They do outdoor cookouts, change their menu regularly, and have the best live music in town. I can't say enough good things about this place. Just go check it out. read more

Went in with 5 year old granddaughter who just had her tonsils out. Greasy looking guy says Hi. My granddaughter couldn't really talk and waved instead. He said" when someone says hi to you you say hi back that's socialization" I said " she just had her tonsils out yesterday" he said " I don't care!" We left without our drinks. Won't be back. read more

Best Italian deli I have ever experienced. You can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Billy's chicken salad is the best I have ever had. We frequently get the pre-made spaghetti and meatballs dinner from here. Always a hit with the family. Staff is very personable and efficient. Give Guillianova a try. You will not be disappointed. read more

Words do not describe this place on the level of taste the food has. Billy knows what he is doing no matter what he is making. The pit beef is only done a few times a year and when he does the line is out the door. The rest of the year the Italian chicken salad and the Italian cold cut is to die for. ( You also can get it on a bed of greens if your gluten free). All the soups are made from scratch daily. I drive 15 minutes to go here for lunch at least twice a week. The place is a little bit of a hole in the wall but the food speaks for itself. read more

Very nice spot on Main Street! The owner is very nice and accommodating and the products are all top notch. We have used the catering services a few times and the food has always been delicious. They make a great Italian green salad, chicken parm, and tortellini salad! If you want a dinner for a small group and don't have time to cook, it's the best! In addition, the fresh cold cuts, cheeses, and frozen items are yummy as well! The very best thing is their sandwiches! Wish this place was open later so I could get the subs more often but they are amazing! Nice place and we are lucky to have it in Westminster! read more

Absolutely incredible food!!! The guy who owns it is so friendly and helpful. They have such a range of options and great prices, and my family has had them cater for lots of our parties. read more

Fantastic Italian sub, sausage peppers on point. If you are looking for an authentic Italian deli sandwich, look no further. Could use a wipe down, but the important part is the food. read more

I'll get this out of the way first.. The food at Giulianova's is not the problem. In fact, as other reviewers have noted... the chicken salad, shrimp salad, lasagna and sandwiches are all very good. However, my wife usually does the shopping so I've never actually seen the inside of this place but when I came in here for the first time recently I was so turned off by cleanliness of the establishment that I just HAD to write this review. The older of the two refrigerators on the floor (where the meat is kept) is grotesque. Looks to me like there's more mold and bacteria inside than there is food. Just looking around the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. It's old, rundown and in desperate need of an upgrade. But perhaps even worse is the OWNER's attitude...the last time I came in here, he was eating with his hands while making someone's sandwich with his hands and then ringing people up on some filthy old register with his hands! AAHHH!! Not a glove in sight. That was enough to make me completely sick and not want to ever support this place again. The best part is that the owner is slow as hell in serving people and also complains about how this "town" is difficult to people. Uh, no my friend, you are the difficult one. You have a prime location on main street.... you should be killing it. But I'm guessing you're not because your attitude sucks and your establishment is gross to look at. It's tragic because the food here is decent. I just can't stand it when restaurant owners are so apathetic about maintaining standards for cleanliness. read more

The food is perfect. Italian cold cut, crab cakes (in season) stuffed shells and soups are just a few of the items to fill the palette. Bill always has a smile on his face and ready for any conversation about the O's or Beatles. He also has options for take home dinner prep and catering as well. Do yourself a favor and make it a weekly ritual for lunch downtown read more

Pit beef (seasonal - check the website) is Ah-Maze-Ing!!! He carries really great international prosciutto, cheeses, etc. Prices are what you'll pay elsewhere. Bill is a great guy - friendly, a foodie, loves his business & customers. While we work elsewhere & live in Westminster, we visit as often as we can. Never tried his sandwiches or other foods, but his deli goods are top-notch. Definitely a go-to if you're in the area! read more

I have been counting on Billy and his staff for several years now for catering small events at our home, they NEVER disappoint! Great food, pleasure to deal with! read more

Best hoagies in town (and possibly Maryland) bar none. Ingredients are legit Italian- fresh, and delicious. You could easily put this place in Philly's Italian Market and it wouldn't be out of place at all. The Meatball Hoagie and Italian Cold Cuts are my favorites, and they do Pit Beef every Sat (Haven't tried it yet but heard it's great). read more

We get lunch here frequently and everyone in our office loves Bill's subs. This is one of the few places in Maryland that you can get such quality food for under $10. Keep up the great work Bill! read more

Seriously amazing subs! I love the Italian sub with everything (especially the olive tapenade and hots) and the tortellini salad. They have a great dinner deal and decent cannoli. Highly recommend a visit. read more
