    Breakfast Tacos

Perfect place for a chill brunch with friends! We got the brisket breakfast tacos and quesadillas, along with some of their lattes - all so good! The vibes were laid back and I loved the outdoor seating area and open concept as well. Highly recommend! It's also pretty easy to find street parking nearby tldr 5/5 food - brisket breakfast tacos were superb, good bang for your buck as well 5/5 service - you order at the counter and the line moves fast! 5/5 vibes - chill, laidback, good vibes overall

This establishment should reinstate taking phone orders to improve wait times and friendlier customers service. Ok food but needs a wider range of salsa - ok food though

Dinette is a nature/hiking themed brunch and cafe in south Burbank near the LA River. The restaurant styles itself on the small, inconspicuous little joints seen in US National Parks. While a decent local place with personality, and a slight hipster vibe, I left slightly disappointed. On an early Friday morning, an old friend and I caught up; you order at the front register, and I asked the staff what Dinette was most famous for and what she recommended; she suggested the Basecamp Breakfast Burrito ($13); this came with a side of hash browns. Accompanying this was a rather generic cappuccino ($4.50). The burrito was disappointing, which was fairly dry, filled with too many hashbrowns, and a little overcooked. While thankfully saved by a decent, slightly spicy salsa, I would suggest more eggs, bacon, cheese, and to drop the hashbrowns altogether. The hash browns were fairly generic, and a little overcooked as well. The ambiance is relaxed and outdoorsy, and the staff friendly but not effusive. The food came fairly quickly (10-15 minutes). The prices, while not extortionate, were fairly middling for somewhat lackluster food. Perhaps I would have been better served by a better entree choice or one of the many tasty bakery items in their window, but alas I try what was recommended. More lodge diner than national park gourmet, Basecamp Dinette is a fair choice for a middling meal with relaxed, national park vibes. Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Value 3.5/5

    Hot Horchata Latte

Trendy little coffee shop tucked in on Riverside that offers coffee, beers and brunch. I tried the Hot Horchata Latte with oat milk and would love to come back here to try the food. The space had an earthy, filled by locals vibe. Definitely lives up to its name "Basecamp." They still accept cash which is nice. The entrance is easy to miss so enter near the white tents, not the corner shop. The person and the register and the barista were very pleasant. The third person at the bar was not so much.

This is my second time dining here. The space is great and there's ample seating inside and outside. The first time I ordered breakfast tacos which were delightful. This time I ordered French toast which wasn't a fave sadly. I'd still recommend and will likely bring any friends visiting to this spot

Great spot! Friendly staff and food is amazing! I came by during my break from clinical and was in a time crunch, the line was long because it was a Sunday during lunch time. Maybe pre-order online and pick up if you're ever in a rush. They have seats like picnic style outside, and more seats, bar style and couches inside. They also have pastries right by the entrance, which I will probably try next time! I had their Base-ic burger and Iced Matcha Latte! The burger was juicy and the portion is great! I had the fries and the cut is not the usual ones you see out there and I enjoyed it. The Matcha Latte hit the spot Will definitely come back and try other things (maybe when I'm not in a rush )

First time at Basecamp/Scouts Honor BBQ! It's a charming spot with nice service. We were initially confused about parking, as both share the same building. Basecamp's food ends at 3 PM, but beverages are available. Scouts Honor BBQ was delicious and affordable. The BBQ falls apart easily and melts in your mouth. I loved the breakfast tacos, you can sub for beyond meat and the hazelnut latte. You can sub the milk with non-dairy.

WE LOVE BASECAMP! This has quickly become our favorite weekend spot - they have amazing drinks & food (their Horchata Latte & Dirty Chai is awesome...also had their veggie omelette and Lavender waffles ) They have plenty of shaded outdoor seating, the staff is kind and you never have to wait long! PLUS it's located in the Rancho Equestrian Neighborhood so chances are you'll see people ride by on horses while you sip your coffee! Definitely put this place at the top of your list

They also have local baked pastries from a bakery in Glassel park. This cafe also carries cute little gifts, as well as a cold case filled with snacks and tea. Lottie and I chose a palm coffee favorite, the coffee cake donut and the ham and cheese croissant. For our drink, we had ti try their best seller, which actually put them on the map as a must try-spot for coffee in their cinnamon toast crunch iced latte. Then I ordred an iced matcha because they said they take their matcha seriously, it's ceremonial grade and this is also a popular drink item on the menu. The staff at the Palm coffee bar were so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They really helped us pick the right drink and snacks for us. Lottie and I had a great time at this coffee shop and we highly recommend it to anyone if you're in the Burbank area.

This cafe is run by a family of wonderful, empowering women who support their community and their customers with engaging events and delicious coffee. When I first moved to Burbank I was given a warm welcome by the ladies behind the counter and since then I'm happy to be a regular. Their drinks are on the more expensive side compared to larger corporate chains, but the taste and quality well makes up for the expense. They have a comfortable selection of bakery items, a diverse drink menu for all kinds of pallets, and signature lattes that hit the spot. This location offers a free library where customers can take a book and leave a book, reading in the shop or taking home, with an honor code of being expected to keep said book in good shape and to return it eventually. Their book vending machine is a huge hit, the interior is beautiful and relaxing and their location has a restroom. On the weekends they invite other small sellers, clothing entrepreneurs, bread makers, up-in-coming pottery shops, and more to use their store as a venue to expand their business. The Three Sisters' dedication to their community goes as far as sharing their success, which I admire! The cons of this location however, are that I firmly believe they've outgrown their space. Lines often form out of the cafe regularly and onto the street. It can take quite some time to wait when this happens. When they have sellers inside too--it becomes difficult to move it's so crowded. There's often not enough tables and chairs to go around, and it's uncomfortable to wait outside when it's sunny with zero shade or seats. While I love the shop encouraging people to stay and do their work, or relax, the limited seating capacity makes it so many customers are often left standing. I hope Three Sisters considers moving to a larger space, adapting outdoor seating to the experience, or grows their business enough to comfortably open multiple locations in the future to give their dedicated consumers and neighbors more space to enjoy their products.

The…read moredrinks are ok, nothing you can't get at any of the other 20 coffee shops in Burbank, but the reason I won't come here anymore is the service. The times I've been here, the owner has been the person who's taking orders at the register. Both times I've seen her be very warm and welcoming to the person in front of and behind me (one of which was my friend) and then as soon as I come up to place my order I just get a "what can I get for you" and kind of a whole attitude switch. This happened on my very first visit to this coffee shop so I don't think I did anything wrong? I have worked many customer service jobs so I always approach the counter with a "hi, how are you" and try to have a pleasant demeanor. I try not to let it bother me but it's hard not to notice the immediate switch from the interaction of the person in front of me. Now, I don't need people to be nice to me but I would like the same common courtesy I try to give. This happened on two other occasions and it's clear to me I just don't need to be going here. Maybe if the coffee were exceptional I could get over the service, but that isn't the case. I got an espresso tonic that was just ok. Glad people in Burbank like this shop but it's a chop for me.
