I fell in love with this Mexican spot. We decided to eat outside and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It's right across from the Sagamore Pendry in Fells Point. The shrimp tacos were the best thing on menu. I also tried the Oaxaca Guacamole and I wasn't crazy about it. The traditional guacamole tasted way better. I would definitely come back.

Can never go wrong with the chips and guac - def good for some yapping. The peach palmer was so good! I highly recommend for a nice refreshing cocktail. I got the rockfish (phone did not eat lol) and it had a kick to it but super good. My friend liked the green goddess salad as well

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Booked a resy on open table for Mother's Day brunch. We got a beautiful outdoor table by the water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bottomless mimosas were watered down severely but our server Kelsey made sure we were taken care of regardless. All the food ordered was delicious and even with the holiday, food arrived promptly and still to temperature (main comment was all items could have been bettered seasoned). I've visited before and will be back again!

Excellent. The service was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance sitting outside in sight of the Pride of Baltimore ship was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My son really enjoyed his steak tacos and I loved the cauliflower tacos. The guacamole and chips were excellent. I think it was the Barcocina guac.

I love Barcocina. I've lived in Baltimore for 4 years and it's still one of my favorite places to go. Their brunch is great, their tacos are yummy and they have so much variety in terms of meat/veg and flavor profile. The first taco I ever tried was the Bang Bang cauliflower taco and I'm pretty sure I ordered it every single time I went there for a year. I also love steak taco, and at one point there was a taco take had Korean inspired flavors that was super yummy but it's no longer on the menu. For drinks I love the Julio smash and the red sangria. I also love that they always have bottomless mimosas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's always ample seating inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, if you're sitting on the outside that's closest to the harbor, you're kind of in the outskirts and I'm not gonna lie the two times I've sat on that far side it almost felt like our server completely forgot about us but you're by the water, it's nice and sunny, there's a nice breeze[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also great for people watching or if you just want a little bit more privacy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is usually great, they are frequently training staff tho. I'm not sure if it's just a summer thing and maybe they have younger college aged adults who just need a summer gig, but once the weather gets nice there's a higher chance of you getting a server whose simultaneously training someone or you have a trainee as your waiter and then someone comes every so often asking how they're doing. Not a big deal but it can get a little annoying. Either way the food is great, the drinks are great, the location is perfect for the summer time and they have friendly staff. I will always be a regular there.

I went here twice in the same week and different experiences... the food is hit or miss. The tacos are lackluster, if you know what a good taco tastes like, these taste like they're missing something. The jalapeño cornbread and octopus dish were both good and creative. The corn dip is just ok, not a standout, and same with the guac. The service is also just ok, my first waitress here was nice the other was very disinterested/not wanting to be as helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is by the water so it's a great vibe/atmosphere-- a homeless guy did come up to our table and he went in the restaurant to ask us to buy something for him so it is a pretty open space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Sunday evening dinner at the inner harbor. Seated immediately. Server was attentive. Fair prices. Comfortable outdoor seating waterside.

Barcocina left me with mixed feelings. I came here for a night out and dinner after seeing strong reviews online and hearing several recommendations. Service: We were seated quickly, which was a great start. Unfortunately, after that it felt like we were mostly forgotten. Once our server came back, everything seemed rushed as if they were trying to catch up. Taste: The food itself was underwhelming. The salsa tasted like it came straight from a jar, and the tacos we ordered were very Americanized with little authenticity or standout flavor. Ambiance: This is where the restaurant really shines. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location right on the harbor is beautiful and the overall vibe is relaxed, making it a great spot to sit outside and enjoy the waterfront.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the setting is excellent, but the food and service didn't live up to the hype.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Only got the queso.... Mid at best. Will update when l go back again. Would not recommend this one. (Only the queso)

    Brunch Enchiladas

It's been years since I last visited Barcocina, but I'm glad the deliciousness of the food has stayed consistent over the years! I ordered the brunch enchiladas, which had spicy chicken, fried egg, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, and our waitress brought a spicy sauce to complement the dish. I also ordered the blackberry mule for my drink, and I only have good things to say! I really enjoyed this meal and will definitely order it again!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant in Fells Point had great view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view makes the experience much better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was very helpful and attentive. We got few tacos and they were all delicious. I would def recommend to friends for a brunch or dinner.

    Karen T.

This place has a really good bottomless mimosa deal that happens throughout the week. My friends and I love to come here for bottomless mimosas. The food is okay, I like to get the steak tacos. I was not a fan of the cheeseburger tacos. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice place to grab mimosas near the water with a great view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is attentive.

    Octopus
    Esther A.

We love the Green Goddess Salad, we add grilled chicken and shrimp, so delicious! We also get the Octopus (only available for dinner which starts at 3pm). Today we tried the calamari, I have had better but my husband thought it was decent. Service is fast enough, people are friendly enough. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are options for inside and outside seating, good for large and small groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

She has always been wanting to try this place. And she absolutely loved it. Clavel has been in the Remington neighborhood since 2015. Mainly a family/minority owned taqueria and mezcaleria with deep Sinaloa roots. One thing I absolutely love here is the ceviche. My favorites are the Aguachile( shrimp cured in lime and spicy cilantro pesto). The salmon crudo was straight fire and I always love the ponzu tuna. You can never go wrong with the queso fundido. And not pictured were the tacos. We also got a few tacos to share for the table. The barbacoa de borrego and the El lucahdor( fish taco) is my favorite. And their cocktails are to die for. Don't let the outside deceive you. Once you walk in you'll smell the fresh cilantro and chile. It took a bit to translate the menu, but you'll figure it out. There are plenty of options. The server helped us figure it out and we were set. I ordered the El pastor tacos, beans & rice, and tortilla chips. The tacos were theeee best! What I loved the most is that the corn tortillas didn't fall apart!!! I hate it when I go to eat a taco and it falls apart. They cooked the tortillas enough so they held up, but were still soft. Did I already say how good the tacos were?! Along with the meat is cilantro, some onions, and you can top it with some green chili sauce. Sooooo good! The pico de Gallo was some of the best I've ever had. I know what you're thinking. How could you go wrong with pico de Gallo? Yeah, I wonder the same thing, but this pico was FRESH with just the right ratio of tomato, onion, cilantro, etc. Next time I'll order two of them. The chips are restaurant-made. That was our first indicator that the food was going to be ALL that we hoped it would be. AND it was. The beans were pinto beans. Memories from home and the ultimate comfort food. The were cooked perfectly with just enough seasoning. The rice was perfectly cooked too. This is the taco spot you need to try.

It's there and cooked without oil immersion or the awful trap of terrible portioning. Here, the nutrients shine. And that is healthy. Price: Decent. Very Decent. Everything I bought there was roughly over 45 dollars (before the tipping) and keep in mind, the condiments and sauces were complimentary. For this quality and quantity? I definitely got my money's worth. Experience: Wonderful server. Even in a busy dinner cycle, she came over and literally started to hand me a menu almost right as I sat down. Even gave me a great recommendation for the Enchilada platter and brought the holster of extras over to the table as well. The food was delivered quickly, and the small details (utensils, cleanliness, chair organization etc.) were great. Taste: Honestly this place is a standout for seasoning. It's flavorful, unique, and skewed towards spices over oil. Tasteful impact, without the baggage. A gem.
