Today My wife and I decided to tried this place for lunch after hearing about it through my wife's friend. After looking at the many reviews and pictures of other postings, I have high expectations for the place. The owners were there and kindly greeted us and took our orders. Being opened for a few months now I was impressed to see the flow of customers coming through to order. They were in and out within 10 mins with no wait time longer than 15 mins. I ordered the bbq pork banh mi and a Thai tea for my drink. I was told by the owner that these are the popular that everyone usually gets. Upon unwrapping the banh mi to start eating I thought the portion size was pretty standard, I was full by the time I was done eating. Although, I wished they would ask if I wanted my banh mi to be cut in half or not if I'm going to be eating in but ripping it apart is fine. The bbq pork banh mi itself was really enjoyable! Everything was made hot and fresh with just the right amount of veggies. Also the Thai tea was great! It was made fresh daily and not pre-made. It was packed with flavor that compliments the banh mi. Stopped in for lunch today. They have a selection of about a half-dozen banh mi sandwiches to chose from, plus some interesting looking beverages. The prices of the sandwiches is VERY reasonable - there is no reason to go to Subway when this place is around!! I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich, and it was ready in about 5 minutes. There was about a half-dozen tables inside, but I elected to sit outside where they have a couple of tables in the noon shade. The sandwich looked delicious when I unwrapped it! Lots of good looking veggies, and the feel of the bread told me there was a nice crunchy crust. The first bite was no disappointment! The bread/roll/baguette is really wonderful, crispy crust and soft inside. The veggies were plentiful, and very fresh and "snappy" when I bit into it. The BBQ was absolutely great! Sometimes banh mi has a fatty pork belly that lacks sauce & spice, but the meat on this sandwich is exceptional. Banhdicted really exceeded my expectations. Okay but not amazing. Got the AZ special which tasted decent but was a bit dry for my taste (a little heavy on the bread). The ratio of meat (2-3slices total?):bread/other fillings was a bit low compared to what I'm used to (in nyc, etc.) Would definitely recommend either adding a sauce (or maybe putting in a bit more pate) and/or additional layers of meat since the pork belly and ham are quite thin. This could also be because of the meat in this version - my friend got the beef, which definitely looked like it had more meat in it/tasted a little more balanced. The ube snow that I got looked really cool/interesting but tasted quite odd (would not recommend) - perhaps it's the syrup that they used(?) - it tasted a little medicinal. The menu is super straightforward. Eight different banh mis, all of which sound delicious. Milk tea. Juice and smoothies. That kind of laser focus on one type of sandwich means you better nail it, and man, Banhdicted delivers. The baguette is warm and toasty. The veggies are crisp and fresh. The lemongrass beef and pate brought an incredible amount of flavor. In the end, I was the perfect amount of full for less than $10. It was a screaming value for how happy I was with my meal. The sandwich shop is clean and the people behind the counter were friendly. It's on the small side, so you aren't going to hang out here for hours, but it's a great little pit stop for a tasty lunch. The ambiance was really peaceful, with having a welcoming environment, with lots of comfy spots to have a bite of yummy food. Banh mi oh my! I miss my banh mi from my days in Portland where I first discovered these addictive sandwiches! Talk about flavor + comfort. The perfect blend of French and Vietnamese influences - the sandwich is always done in a French Bread Roll, filed with your choice of meats or vegetarian options and (don't skip this!) Cilantro, fresh matchstick carrots, jalapenos and the combo is outrageous. Not spicy, but def tasty, worth a visit and another and another. After leaving yet another scary stressful vet appointment, we stumbled onto this gem. Lucky ys, lucky Guinea pig. We had it to go (she was sweet and ran it out to my car!) My friends and I were super excited when we saw a new Bahn Mi shop in town! It's quite difficult to come by in Tucson. When we got there, the staff were super friendly and kind. We were impressed by how welcoming they were and the genuine air of excitement to be bringing Bahn Mi to Tucson. I got the BBQ pork Bahn Mi. The veggies were excellent. The jalapeños were quite spicy so avoid those if you want to taste your food. The meat was a little disappointing because it was super salty and not as sweet as I'd expect BBQ pork to be. The pâté was alright and the sandwich could've used more of the pâté and mayo to bring out the flavors. Overall, it was an OK Bahn Mi sandwich, but I was really pleased by the customer service and I think that the shop has a ton of potential to improve! Stopped in for the first time for lunch yesterday. I had the bbq pork keto style and my husband had lemongrass beef. I loved how mine came in a rice paper wrap instead of a bun. It was similar to a summer roll. The flavors were awesome. My husbands seemed a little stingy on the fillings, and he wasn't full afterward. I am now officially ADDICTED! This has to be my new favorite spot. The sandwich are perfect. The vegetables are so well marinated with vinegar and most of all they are FRESH! Such good quality and just stood out from most places I eat. The buns are warmed up and not too crispy or burnt. I was thinking it wouldn't be enough to fill me but man by the end of it I could barely finish it all. The grilled chicken and BBQ pork were cooked so well and flavored so nicely with vegetables. I just can't rave enough. Side note for all the Non-spicy lovers make sure to take off jalapeño I almost missed it until the cashier asked if everything is okay on topping. The teas are creamy and not too sweet or over filled with ice. The Hokkaido paired so well with egg custard with the sweetness of the custard with the milk tea it was good combination. The pricing is so fair as well with both indoor and patio seating it's a very nice atmosphere. I will definitely be going back for more and raving about it even more to friends.
