    #71 Orange Chicken
    Kathryn W.

Went here for a lunch date with some friends (my first time here). It was great! Fast and friendly service, food came out quick too. Wings were really good, nice and crispy. I loved my orange chicken.. basic I know lol but it really was good ! My friends had the traditional pho which I've also had when sick and it doesn't disappoint as they serve it with all the fixings . They have a good amount of parking and even a little patio seating. Great location !

The establishment offers palatable cuisine with efficient service. The seating arrangements are well-designed, providing ample space between tables. The decor is understated, and the restaurant's proximity to the university results in a diverse clientele.

Noodle soup with chicken broth and wontons

Ordered through a food delivery app and the food arrived hot and fresh. Rare beef pho, in the larger size, had a large portion of meet and broth was lightly flavored. Also ordered a soup with noodles and wonton, which my son enjoyed as well.

Good spot for pho. Fast service, nice ambiance, and decent menu selection. We always order pho tai with the meat on the side (so you can cook it in the broth to your liking) and theirs was pretty good. We had to ask for more toppings and sauces but overall a good experience!

$22 + $5 for a small bowl of pho tai and a fresh young coconut? I was deliriously starved when I walked in and I hadn't eaten in a long time. And really, when it's 1000 degrees out you should be paying me to eat a steaming bowl of soup. This was more than ever paid for pho anywhere and in any big city i.e. Los Angeles, Seattle. The soup itself was ok, a little less flavorful than I've had in other Little Saigon areas. The service was ok. Cleaning the table and getting someone else their check AFTER me when I was clearly done, not good. Would my rating have been higher if it weren't scorching hot and I wasn't starved. We'll never know.

    chicken pho

pho broth was too oily, the peanut sauce was too warm and extremely watery, the spring rolls themselves were poorly made. I have never been to a pho place where the Sriracha and hoisin sauce came mixed together in little side cups & not on the table. not very impressed with the food. service was eh. nobody ever came by to refill our waters not once. overall would never come here again nor would I recommend this place. I am from CA so maybe there is just a different style in Vietnamese food here.

I can't tell you how pleased we were to find this neighborhood gem. My PHÓ was incredible. My husband got the fried rice with shrimp and sausage and we also ordered the most amazing deep-fried, stirfried, spicy chicken wings. Jonathan and Randy were amazing, so fun and eager to give great service. Thank you for making sure that we will return! I WOULD RECOMMEND

I have been coming to Miss Saigon for two years now and love it every time! The restaurant is small, but there is plenty of seating inside. We are always seated right away and the service is always very polite. I always start with the #2 Gui Cuon/Spring Rolls. I ordered them without the pork and they always accommodate. The peanut sauce that comes with it is incredible. I have gotten the seafood pho plenty of times and my dad also loves the Miss Saigon Fried Rice. Most recently I tried the #52 Com Bo Nuong/Grilled Beef and enjoyed every bite! The portions are very generous, as I always get at least two meals out of my order. There is still so much I would love to try at Miss Saigon. I definitely recommend giving Miss Saigon a try if you are in Tucson, as there are 3 locations, so you can't miss it!

#14 veggie/tofu pho and a side of the red rice
    Mandi G.

We frequent the Craycroft location but there are a couple other locations around town (including the new downtown location, which looks "fancier" but is supposed to still have the same menu.) I'm always amazed at how quick and friendly the servers are at the Craycroft location! The pho is delicious- perfect for a cold day, when you're feeling under the weather, and any other time! The cold noodles in the special clear sauce is great too. Love the red rice. Almond snow with boba is yummy too!

So so appetizer combo ! Spring rolls are mediocre
    Tzu-En L.

Trying this place out for the first time in Tucson and i have to say i was not impressed: 1. pho: pho broth was mediocre, too sweet for authentic viet pho broth. I order the one with the combo of both meatball and beef slices (#23) and there was barely any meatball in my pho. Noodle was overcooked. They are also stingy with providing the side condiments (bean sprouts) and sauces. 2. Appetizer combo with spring rolls: veggies in the wrap was not fresh. Meat slices in the appetizer tasted mediocre without much seasoning 3. Pricing: overpriced for the quality I did live in orange county for several years and grew up in Asia. I also have close friend's mom who made me authentic viet food from scratch so yes my taste bud is very spoiled. However, with the inflation of economy + limited belly space/ money that I have to spend, i want my food to be good to max my spending power PS: I dont really recommend this place

Love this location! Fast service and always delicious. You can't go wrong with the pho. They even give you bean sprouts, cilantro, jalepanos and a lime on the side so you can add more flavor to it.

My favorite Vietnamese food in Tucson in terms of the food itself…read more My favorites here: #16 Seasoned Julienned taro root with vermicelli noodles, pickled daikon and the typical vietnamese herbs etc and sweet soy sauce. It comes with fried tofu typically but they let you exchange the tofu with a couple of their delicious vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu (#14 on the menu) and that's my favorite way to order it. Mixing all of it together is heaven. This is by far my favorite here! I find that I generally really like taro- all parts of the plant! The root as served in this restaurant and in Thai desserts, the leaves in filipino laing and the stalk (elephant ear stalk) in vietnamese Canh Chua soup. #20 Fried rice noodles dish (ask for the crispy option!) . This one became quite expensive recently but when I had it in the past it was delicious. Definitely get the crispy version! #14: Those vietnamese crispy rice paper egg rolls that are stuffed with deliciously seasoned tofu are so good. They let you get them a la carte but the full plate comes with the sauce and herbs. I get them as part of #16 as described above so it has the sauce and herbs in that dish as well. I really love that they have a vegetarian and vegan menu and that they have the vegan sweet soy sauce available in place of fish sauce for that menu. The restaurant is attached to Lee Lee international supermarket which is an absolute must visit in my opinion for international food lovers and people who want to learn about world cuisines. It's a great place to find international ingredients that are not easily found elsewhere. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

The rice noodles with scallion oil came with onions wrapped in beef and grilled, something we had never tried before but were just as good as it sounds. The pho broth also clearly had been simmering for hours. It was dark and rich in flavor while the veggies were still crisp and fresh. For living in central Tucson, this place is definitely worth the 20 minute drive!

Easily the most Vietnamese I've seen in a crowd at a restaurant in Tucson, which says a lot about the authenticity. I ordered the veggie pho and it absolutely hit the spot. Clean, flavorful broth, fresh toppings, and that comforting "pho therapy" vibe you just can't fake. The menu has great variety (hello boba options ), and everything felt casual, welcoming, and community-driven. If you're craving legit Vietnamese comfort food -- especially good pho with real flavor -- this one's worth the stop. I'll definitely be back.

My first experience was when my best friend door dashed me an order on my birthday when I was sick. Let me tell you the Phô hits the spot when you're not feeling well. I have stopped in two other times and both have been great experiences. The large Phô was more than enough to fill me up. (6'3", 250), added with a boba tea made my experience that much more enjoyable. Now, for those who are concerned about MSG, take the time to do a little research. It's about as rare as celiac disease.... Everyone claims to have it. Can it be an intolerance, sure as with anything, but our body uses sodium physiologically and the other part is an amino acid that naturally occurs as well. That amino acid is derived from vegetables. So I call BS, but whatever. Monosodium glutamate (MSG) and sodium chloride (NaCl, table salt) differ primarily in their chemical structure and sodium concentration. MSG is a salt of sodium and glutamic acid (an amino acid) containing ~12-14% sodium, while NaCl is a compound of sodium and chloride containing ~39-40% sodium. MSG provides umami taste, whereas NaCl provides saltiness.  Key Chemical Differences: Chemical Formula and Structure: NaCl: A simple ionic compound, with a cubic crystal structure. MSG: A salt of glutamic acid. (monosodium glutamate hydrate), which contains a sodium ion and a glutamate molecule. Sodium Content: MSG has roughly two-thirds less sodium by weight compared to table salt. Production/Source:NaCl: Obtained through mining or evaporation of seawater.MSG: Produced through the fermentation of starches, sugar beets, or sugarcane. Flavor Profile: NaCl provides a purely salty taste. MSG triggers the umami (savory) taste receptor, enhancing flavor without high sodium levels. Appearance: Both are white, crystalline, but MSG crystals are often longer/prismatic (like "mini snowflakes") while table salt is often granular or cubic.  Impact in Cooking:While both enhance flavor, they function differently. MSG adds savory depth (umami), while salt provides salinity. Due to lower sodium levels, MSG is sometimes used to reduce total sodium intake in food, providing savory flavor without excessive sodium.  So Newton Pho.... Keep serving up your yummy goodness. I appreciate it!!!

It's not going to be the best you ever had in your life, and if you've been to Southern China, you're not going to be blown away. HOWEVER, it is the homemade taste that makes it good. It doesn't feel like any other restaurant, it feels like you are at somebody's house. Here's the thing, I came in expecting the usual Chinese food affair, but I left genuinely surprised and impressed. This restaurants specializes in Southern Chinese food, which is different from other regions. I am so happy this restaurant and its chains helps the cuisine gain exposure and adds depth to Chinese food in general. Even better, the menu is laid out in a way that it is easy to understand: gluten-free options, allergies, and spice level. The service was great. All though it isn't a "full" sit-down restaurant, everybody there seemed to know the menu well and was happy to be there. As a Cantonese person, it was nice hearing my language being spoken in the kitchen. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and very modern. We came during early dinner time so the parking lot was near empty and easy to park. Overall, if you've never had Southern Chinese food or are looking for something more authentic than classic Chinese takeaway, definitely check out this location. The cherry on top are the big portion sizes and the price.
