Service was super quick and easy to order online. If you are ordering online, they package everything to go. Ordered the flandan cheesecake (Pandan) and green thai soy pudding with less sugar. The pandan flandan cheesecake was not too sweet and had a slightly caramel aftertaste to it. It is more of a flan-like cake than cheesecake. As most of their baked goods do not require advance preparation, orders are prepared super quickly. I would not hesitate to ask for the status of your order as it may already be ready.

Very clean, and went early when they just opened and there was no wait. Delicious snacks and drinks. I am so glad people can try some Vietnamese food and this is my first time going to this location. Nice place to catch up with friend ir chat and snack! Highly recommend 10/10 for any one in the area or passing through. A variety of choices and I got the sampler box and they were all ok. I am a huge fan of pandan but I didn't really taste it much, I do appreciate that their desserts are less sweet then typical Vietnamese desserts aka che. I love all the options and the jelly. My mom was a fan and I'll definitely go back to get others to try as well. The restaurant / cafe is very clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and very good customer service Such cute decor and signs. Also I got 2 bags of the shelled macadamia nuts by the cash register and they were delicious! I definitely will be returning for more. They tasted so buttery and fresh, i got the larger bag for $15 and I believe the smaller bag was $8 or $10.

Walking into this dessert shop, you could see how busy it is. There wasn't a line, but almost all the tables were filled. Service was quick because after ordering, within minutes we got our che. We tried the pandan grass jelly with coconut milk and the avocado pandan with coconut milk. It was delicious, but I felt the serving size was kind of small. Most of what was in the cup was ice and coconut milk, not too much pandan grass jelly. Overall, it was good but it didn't blow me away.

It's so great to have this here in SGV, we no longer have to drive to Garden Grove. This location gets busy and parking is limited. Luckily, there is street parking. Inside is very clean with ample seating and some outdoor seats as well. I have had the House Special with Durian. It's so rich, yummy, and full of toppings. My favorite, though, is the Longan Aloe Vera. It's so refreshing and has a unique taste. For banh, I have had the Cassava and Durian Pandan. Both delicious and perfect snack-sized. However, it's been a few disappointing visits when they run out of the Durian Pandan midday. Will return to try the other drinks.

You already know this is mine and hubby's weekly dessert spot. It's basically tradition at this point. He gets his usual special, I get my Thai dessert, and balance is restored in the universe. Tonight's danger? A deal on the Jell-O. Buy three, get one free -- specifically the coffee Jell-O. And yes... I absolutely folded. Bought three longan jellies and proudly accepted the free coffee one like I had self-control. Staff is always friendly, service is fast, and somehow we're in and out before I convince myself to buy even more. Welcoming atmosphere. Same spot, same favorites, zero regrets. Happy eats!

I was looking for some good che in the area and found Bake & Che. From the reviews, it seemed like they would have something I would like here for a sweet dessert. Now I've had che many times before and enjoy the simple mixture. Here at Bake & Che, it's definitely more of a decorated milky dessert. The dac biet che had all the normal ingredients, but they added some extras and also peanuts. I have to admit the peanuts added a nice crunch to it. But they do go a little crazier with the ice, so I'd recommend asking for less ice, or get the largest cup for maximum che. A regular size cup was $7 for the regular dessert che. It was a little bit more than I expected, as usual che is about two dollars less. If it was maybe less ice, it would be a better match with the price. Counter staff are fine here, nothing too special there. They take both cash and card here. A few tables inside and outside, but they are taken quick if it's a busy day. Parking is on the street side, but can also be crowded if you come at a busier time.

We tried the #1 with durian. It was good but I felt there wasn't much to a cup ratio. I wish there was more durian. There was a variety of Che in the cup but didn't feel as satisfying for the price. Service was great and very clean restaurant.

Having been feeling super curious, I really wanted to try Bake & Che as I haven't had Vietnamese desserts very often. There was no line when I got there 30 minutes before closing. The girl was friendly and polite. She asked me, if I wanted the ice on the side. I said sure and later realized that was a great idea. I ordered C2 Thai which contains fresh jackfruit, longan fruit, toddy palm seeds, a variety of jellies, and pomegranate seeds. She gave me a lot of ice in a plastic bag tied up with a rubber band. The cup is on the small side. After taking a few sips through the straw, the liquid was entirely gone leaving the solid ingredients which are too big for the straw. I wish the cup had been bigger so it can accommodate more liquid. It was very difficult to use a spoon while driving home. I decided to wait until I get home to finish my drink. Luckily, I had condensed milk in my fridge. I poured my drink and ice into a bowl and added some condensed milk. Voila! I was finally able to enjoy my drink! Delicious! Really cute small place. The desserts were showcased nicely, but many desserts were sold out by that time. Casual seating areas. It looks like a fun place to hang out with friends and family.

I devoured the coconut smash in one sitting. It was that good. Wish I had more time in LA to try other che variations!

Was excited to see this in the SGV area since so went to check it out. We ordered the special with durian. Was hoping this would be compatible with Bamboo desserts. They also have other dessert bake goods. Ranging from cassava cake, flan, Tapioca cake, etccc. Pretty nice place to enjoy the desserts. Indoor and outdoor seatings available. Ordered at the counter and until your order is up.

Yummy dessert/snack and drink spot located in a small plaza with parking. I went there on a Saturday morning and ordered 4 desserts: mini palm sugar, taro and cassava cakes and their flan. All desserts tasted fresh and the true hallmark of Asian desserts- "not too sweet." There is decent seating inside where lots of customers sat and enjoyed their drinks and food. Staff was also very friendly. I've passed by other locations and they always look busy. Our order took about 15 minutes, but I think it was definitely worth it. I want to try one of their Vietnamese drinks next time!

I've visited this location 2-3x so far, and they have been generally great experiences. My last visit was yesterday, Sat. 11/29 at around 8 PM. We have ordered (prices as of Nov 2025): Thai Dessert Che Tai - $7 -- Classic! Leans on the sweet side for reg sweet, but so yummy with all the ingredients that they put inside. Longan Aloe Vera Che Nhan Dam - $7 -- Refreshing! My husband ordered this yesterday and this dessert was packed with aloe, pieces of longan, and other diff textures. Smashed Coconut Dura Dam Thot Not - $7 -- Delicious and creamy! This is a coconut lover's dream lol. This contains all types of coconut, and I will just continue to order this haha. Customer Service: Pretty short - nothing frilly. You also have the option of pre-ordering online. They are cordial but not exceptionally nice. Seating: Indoor and outdoor table seating are both available! The store gets busy, so snagging seats can be a little difficult at peak times. Parties tend to stay for some time, so just be prepared. Parking: There is a parking lot, but it becomes extremely crowded during the day. Street parking is also available right by the shop, which is most convenient for me. All in all, since this location is the closest Bake & Che location, I will be back!

    Lucy T.

I was craving a small gluten-free dessert, and I found this place! The best part is most of their desserts are gluten-free and not too heavy! I got a sugar muffin that was delicious! I think it was made of tapioca flour and a special Vietnamese sugar! I had the most perfect sweetness and it was the texture of mochi! The girl who helped me with thorough and straight to the point! The ambience was really cute and it was packed!

The shop itself is small and cozy, but super cute and full of energy. Even though it was busy when we arrived, the line moved quickly and the staff kept everything running smoothly. The moment we walked in, the smell of fresh waffles and sweet ice cream filled the whole shop and instantly made us excited to order. Since we had all just eaten dinner, we figured we'd play it safe and order the small sizes... big mistake! Their "small" portions are HUGE and definitely big enough to share. We were honestly surprised when our desserts came out. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better -- fresh, warm, sweet, and perfectly satisfying without being overly heavy. It's surprising how busy this place is especially for women/girls (maybe souffle is more popular…read moreamong girls?) The only guys you see mostly liley are those who come as part of a family. However I personally think souffle is a glorified version of pancake. It's slightly thicker and more fluffy and if you like pancakes there is no reason why you wouldn't like this (other than the price?). The location is in a strip mall next to the bigger 99 Ranch plaza and parking can be difficult to find especially top side but there is a underground parking lot next door. It can still get busy so you may have to park in that plaza and walk over on busy weekends. Just note this place is busy even in the weekday evenings. There are very few tables so if you are coming as a date/family, you may not find a table. The tables are also small so I wouldn't recommend a large group of more than 4. You order via a kiosk and for drinks they will call your order number. For souffle if you dine in, you can take a number stand and place on your table just like some McDonald's. Souffle is not bad and not too sweet especially with the original flavor.

Souffle pancakes in different occasions always look so pretty, are the best everyone's ever had, some some flavor profiles don't work. Maybe that's why the menu sometimes changes. For example the yuzu grape was completely bland because the yuzu drizzle on top was a thin line i couldn't taste at all. At least put a spread between each layer or pour a lot on top like the others (eg berry or mango). The mint leaves was the most potent flavor in this dish. Over the grapes, blueberries, matcha powder, yuzu. Got the mango triple layer drink this time and if you drink it carefully, you can appreciate the contrast from the mango puree, the milk, the creamy salted matcha. If you just mix it up completely you won't get that affect. One thing that bothers me is because the menu changes I seem to always be unable to get something I'm thinking of from the previous visit. I recall last time I had some mochi and rice ball I added to a drink that was so damn good and I couldn't add it this time. Though I recall that drink being $11.50 from the add ons. The souffle pancake was $21... so place is $$ but again the quality is there. Service wise, never interacted with staff really. Kiosk to order. Drinks just sit at counter when done. Didn't call numbers. Oh they did bring the pancake, no words spoken.

This is in the same tiny plaza as Golden Deli and Bopomofo, so parking can be tough at peak dinner time. The good: the taiyaki texture was nice and crunchy. The ice cream was smooth and not icy. The price is good for amount you get. The bad: the store was extremely cramped and hot. It's a very tiny shop so easily felt packed inside. I was annoyed when they called my order but I was struggling to get through the shop to get my order. By that time the employee had walked away. I was annoyed because when she came back she completely ignored me and handed someone else their order and walked away. I don't understand why they keep the completed orders way behind the counter if they don't even verify the correct person is picking up... after being skipped over twice I finally cut in and interrupted the other employee for my order and she was like oh... sorry it's melted. Like yeah it's been sitting there and I didn't want to go into the employee area to get it! That was really irritating. The ube flavor was bland. It tasted like milk, I did not get any ube flavor. The custard in the taiyaki was just okay. The worst part was that the taiyaki had a really off putting taste on the outside... almost like the aftertaste of margarine or something, it bothered me. Overall the flavor and service was lacking and the experience inside was not good. I was not impressed by any aspect and would not recommend this place unless you were already dining in this plaza and wanted to just walk over.
