Egg Sandwich with Linguica plus One Waffle side
    Jason H.

Warmly greeted and offered us to sit anywhere we like. I found this cozy place when our golf group came here before a tournament. (They can accommodate larger groups in their side room.) So, I knew the service was good, because they knew to get us in-and-out quickly without us even having to ask. Today, I had more time for a leisurely breakfast, so I ordered the Egg Sandwich with Linguica with a side of One Waffle and a bottomless cup of coffee. (I remember I got French Toast last time, but it was not very filling for the price.) The breakfast sandwich was very good, especially the linguica, as were the potatoes, but the waffle was a tad burnt -- almost enough to want to send it back. But, I decided to try it anyway. Our server was awesome: friendly, attentive, and very pleasant. A decent sized parking lot surrounds the restaurant. Fair pricing, as well. I will definitely come back to give them another crack at that waffle.

I gave my friend a few breakfast options, and they chose Baji's since neither of us had been there before. We arrived right when they opened and were greeted immediately, which was a great start. We even got to pick our table, which was a nice touch. By the time we left, the place had definitely filled up. The service was great, the food was spot on, and my mimosa was both super cute and delicious -- also the only thing I remembered to take a photo of. The restaurant is fairly new and sits on the corner of a busy street, but there's a parking lot with plenty of spaces, which makes it easy. Overall, a really enjoyable breakfast, and I'd definitely return.

Cute little cafe. A bit expensive for breakfast items specially if you get the eggs plate. Husband got the eggs your eay (over medium) which came with potatoes and toast. It was quite small and he added a side of 2 eggs ($8.5 or 2 eggs) making his dish total more than $23! For eggs and toast! I got the eggplantsandwich ($18) whoch was super tasty and would eat that again. It came with yummy fries.

This is a very popular weekend spot. While there was no line, it was definitely crowded. It is a relatively small restaurant, having both indoor and outdoor seating. The walls are decorated with sports items. It was nice having a TV nearby so I would watch a sporting event while dining. Service was first rate and attentive. Iced teas and sodas are served in a large, retro style Coca-Cola tumbler. I would recommend they provide longer straws, however. The standard ones they have are a bit too short. I was craving Chicken & Waffles, so I did not bother looking at the menu. My order came out relatively quick and looked great! Do note that the "honey" in the order comes in those quick/to-go packets. It is your basic fare as opposed to something special or artisan. The waffle itself was crispy on the outside, a bit cakey on the inside. The 2 pieces of fried chicken were moist on the inside. I could not, however, discern any brining to enhance its flavor. Overall, it was a solid dish for just $19. I would say this is a good place to visit. I would probably lean towards ordering an omelette/skillet dish in the future, though.

Standard diner with all day breakfast available. Came by while waiting for my car maintenance for a quick bite. Service was nice and fast, food came out hot and delicious. Everything was decent. Less food than expected and we finished our meal with no leftovers.

Located along Middlefield near 101, parking spots are few but available. There's a good amount of seating indoors. I also liked that they had a ventilated outdoor seating area too. Bajis Signature Omelette (5/5): so yummy. Each bite was well rationed with the ingredients being used. The bell peppers were crunchy and really added an extra layer to the texture. The flavor was just right. It wasn't overwhelmingly salty nor under salted. The hash browns were amazingly crispy. Service was great. The staff did an excellent job making sure we didn't need anything. Overall, Bajis Cafe is an awesome breakfast/brunch place. Food is phenomenal with top tier customer service.

Went bike riding and passed this place and a couple of days ago, so I decided to try it. The place is really nice with sports memorabilia, even though I only saw one warriors pic of Joe Smith. My daughter and myself had the meat lovers skillet which comes with a side of toast or pancake/waffle. My daughter got the pancake and I got the waffle. The skillet was delicious, but the waffle and pancake was very rubbery and disappointing. Overall great restaurant and the staff was very friendly.

A nice, friendly, solid American Style diner. I had the biscuits and gravy and some hash browns. The biscuits were cooked well, soft on the inside with a nice firm top/bottom. The gravy was just a simple white gravy with some sausage bits. I found it to be a little under seasoned (which I fixed with some salt and pepper at the table) and it was okay. Not the most amazing biscuits and gravy I've ever had but a some 3 star and I would eat again if in the area. The hash browns were mid and just okay. Nothing special but nothing horrifying either. The staff working there were super friendly and quick and were overall great!

Wasn't sure what to expect from this little diner. Went to breakfast and had a great time. The food was tasty and the service was great. The people working there tagged team the tables and made sure everyone had what they needed. They checked on us as they walked by to make sure we were good. The scene is a little dated, but it's expected for a diner. Not a bad place to grab some breakfast and chill with friends.

    Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

Best orange juice 10/10 would definitely recommend. The chicken was perfectly crispy and cooked amazingly. The waffles were perfectly fluffy and crunchy. Eggs were also great. Highly recommend Bajis Cafe.

Hi, the buckwheat pankanks include wheat flour in the ingredients, which unfortunately is not gluten free.

    Is there still indoors dining?

    Absolutely.

Hi Renee, we have the Pure Maple Syrup add-on for $1.50.

    The coffee is really good!

They made Mother's Day so fantastic, mom, 92, loved it, do they ever have a buffet?

However, a staff member named Viri intervened and insisted we be seated at a different table. When I requested a different location, I was told it was unavailable due to other reservations. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I am familiar with how reservation systems function; I noted that the restaurant remained largely empty during our visit. At one point, we were even asked to vacate a table we had sat down at before eventually being placed near the hostess station. I am bringing this to your attention because I felt our treatment was inconsistent with standard hospitality. The restaurant was very pretty, with a sleek and floral theme. Also, I noticed some herby smell which was pleasant so extra hats off to that detail. I placed a reservation of 5 at 7:45 pm on a Friday night with me and my family, and we had no issues getting to our table. We were a bit late, however staff made sure that we get seated in no time. Once we got sat down, we got our menus and took some time to decide what to order. Our amazing friend and waitress Elizabeth made sure to give us time to thoroughly look through the menu and decide on what we were going to eat. She was very friendly and caring, and was so excited to take our order, which elevated her experience. Her suggestions were perfect for our family. We ordered the Mixto Clásico ceviche, 2 orders of truffle mac and cheese, Arroz Con Mariscos, Pollo A La Brasa (Half chicken), Beef Anticuchero Roll, and Lengua a La Parilla. In five minutes, the staff already brought the ceviche, which included calamari, fish, veggies, and the taro chips. It was refreshing and citrusy. After we finished that , then another 3 minutes goes by, and everything arrived. I was so shocked on how fast they serve especially because of how busy they were. All the dishes were so fresh and cooked to perfection. The mac was so creamy, cheesy, and delectable especially because of the truffles. The pollo a la brasa was cooked nice and tender, served with fries, and that yellow sauce was addicting, literally ON CRACK. The lengua was great, the mashed potatoes along with the lengua, shrimp, and spicy sauce gave it texture and flavor. The nikkei beef antichchuero roll I was surprised with. Sushi in a Peruvian restaurant? However, I did not expect to be one of the best and interesting rolls I have tried ever. The arroz con mariscos was my favorite by far. It really reminds me of a Spanish paella, with a seafood galore presented with a bed of rice and veggies. It was very filling and delicious. Of course, we couldn't just end there, we obviously had to go for dessert. We chose the Tres Leches cake, and it was presented with chocolate, caramel, and strawberry sauce which was sweet and smooth. Paired with the cake, it was so good and a genius combination. In the end, when leaving, our staff asked us if we needed any extra help with anything before we left, which was a very kind gesture. When we left, the staff kindly greeted us a warm goodbye, and thanked Elizabeth especially for helping us order these great assortments of dishes. In the end, we left with our stomachs full of food and great memories. I am already looking forward to my next visit here, and please, give this Peruvian spot a try, because you will never go back to any other ones besides this spot.

I bought three tickets for the First Friday event scheduled for 8/4, from 4-8pm with chef Stephanie Izard. When I arrive at 6pm, I was told at the check in table that many of the food items were already out, and that I could request a refund. They told me to go in anyway, and to check out what was available. I waited thirty minutes in one line to get a bite of salmon, which was delicious, except the advertised item was sea bass, which they had run out of. Then they ran out of the salmon too, before I could get a second bite. Next, I waited in line to meet Chef Stephanie, but she stepped away from her station when I got to the front. I also found out it was a shrimp based dish (and the veggies were also cooked with shrimp paste), to which I am allergic to. All of the other food items were out. We left the event still very hungry, and I asked to speak with someone about the refund. They took down my name, number and email and said someone would call me the next week. No one ever did. When I called back to follow up, I again was told they would call me. They again did not. I would expect more professionalism especially when I'm being charged $344 for one bite of food. So this is a warning to all who are contemplating a future First Friday with guest chefs - you better arrive at 4pm, or else there will be no food left. **updating to add to I was contacted and offered a full refund and an apology

The space is sleek, modern, and light-filled, making it a perfect spot to gather with friends for lunch or evening drinks and bites. Here is a breakdown of what we tried: Deviled Eggs: A must-order appetizer! Topped with tobiko/caviar, crispy shallots, and chives, they are incredibly creamy with a nice pop of texture and savoriness. Korean Fried Chicken Wings: Crispy, perfectly glazed in a sweet-and-spicy sauce, and topped with sesame seeds. Served with a cool dipping sauce that balances out the heat wonderfully. Tacos (Carnitas & Shrimp): Both taco options were served on warm, fresh corn tortillas topped with pickled red onions, cilantro, and served with a side of slaw and spicy salsa. High quality and super flavorful. Roasted Cauliflower: A gorgeous mixture of purple and white cauliflower tossed with a rich green pesto and drizzle of spicy red pepper sauce. A phenomenal vegetable side with a great kick. French Fries: Golden, crispy, well-seasoned, and served in a massive bowl--perfect for sharing across the entire table. Overall: Excellent presentation, generous portions for small plates, and a super welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for creative craft cocktails or grabbing a bite with a group near campus, Horsefeather delivers. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, we left regretting that decision. From the start, the experience felt unwelcoming when we were seated with our 3-year-old daughter. There was no single overtly disrespectful moment, but the overall tone and repeated small interactions made us feel like we were being judged for having a child with us. At one point, when our daughter accidentally dropped her fork while playing, the reaction we received came across as frustration, which added to that feeling. We understand not every restaurant is designed for young children, but Broma presents itself as a place for friends and family. Instead, we felt like we had to constantly manage and overcorrect normal toddler behavior, which created stress and took away from what should have been a special occasion. Because of that, we didn't feel comfortable raising concerns during the meal when the server checked in--we were more focused on getting through the experience without drawing additional attention. We were also offered an off-menu item without any mention of price. The menu we were given did not list the smash burger, so when I ordered a double, I had no context for the cost. The final price was a surprise, and we would have made a different decision with that information upfront. The food itself did not match the price point. The "smash burger" was not prepared in the style typically expected, and overall the meal felt underwhelming for the cost. Lastly, the billing was confusing. The paper receipt listed "gratuity," while the digital receipt labeled the same charge as a "service charge," making it unclear whether an additional tip was expected. That lack of clarity does not align with the level of transparency expected at this price point. We don't mind paying for a great experience, especially for meaningful occasions, but this visit did not meet that standard and ultimately left us regretting our choice to celebrate here.

The quality and presentation do not match the price tag. Also, "broma" means "joke/prank" in Spanish, so naturally I found myself wondering whether the two Black Iberian pigs on the wall were part of the joke. :) I would come back for the vibe, the bar area, and maybe to give the food another try.

Today, I was in the mood for something more than a salad (much as I wanted to preset what I had the first time coming here, I made a concerted effort to order something else...), thus I chose the Forager Flatbread. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!
