They serve mimosas and Bloody Mary's, which was a non-negotiable for the group outing :) I ordered a tuna melt with cottage cheese, and others ordered brekky and some comforting apps. I noticed the 'Famous Bajis Smoothie' and 'Famous Bajis Shake' that looked super yum, but I ordered a mimosa and bottomless brewed coffee cup (for dining in). They ran out of their branded mugs or I would have snapped a shot of those! They have everything here! Brekky, authentic Mexican breakfast, salads, burgers, sausage sandwiches, veggie options, kiddo menu, and dessert..coffee cake à la mode? Maybe if we're in town again! Parking lot provided, service quick and efficient...seems like this is a poppin' spot and was filling up as the morning hours passed. Not bad for typical diner style breakfast, brunch. Plenty of parking and seating and servers were pleasant and attentive. Kept my coffee refilled! I had the Chicken and Waffles with honey and scrambled eggs. Fried chicken (breast and thigh) was tasty and cooked reasonably well. Waffles were fine but nothing stood out. Scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked. But for $24.50, I think it's a bit pricey for the portion size. If in the area again to service my car again, might come back to try something else. read more

Warmly greeted and offered us to sit anywhere we like. I found this cozy place when our golf group came here before a tournament. (They can accommodate larger groups in their side room.) So, I knew the service was good, because they knew to get us in-and-out quickly without us even having to ask. Today, I had more time for a leisurely breakfast, so I ordered the Egg Sandwich with Linguica with a side of One Waffle and a bottomless cup of coffee. (I remember I got French Toast last time, but it was not very filling for the price.) The breakfast sandwich was very good, especially the linguica, as were the potatoes, but the waffle was a tad burnt -- almost enough to want to send it back. But, I decided to try it anyway. Our server was awesome: friendly, attentive, and very pleasant. A decent sized parking lot surrounds the restaurant. Fair pricing, as well. I gave my friend a few breakfast options, and they chose Baji's since neither of us had been there before. We arrived right when they opened and were greeted immediately, which was a great start. We even got to pick our table, which was a nice touch. By the time we left, the place had definitely filled up. The service was great, the food was spot on, and my mimosa was both super cute and delicious -- also the only thing I remembered to take a photo of. The restaurant is fairly new and sits on the corner of a busy street, but there's a parking lot with plenty of spaces, which makes it easy. This is a very popular weekend spot. While there was no line, it was definitely crowded. It is a relatively small restaurant, having both indoor and outdoor seating. The walls are decorated with sports items. It was nice having a TV nearby so I would watch a sporting event while dining. Service was first rate and attentive. Iced teas and sodas are served in a large, retro style Coca-Cola tumbler. I would recommend they provide longer straws, however. The standard ones they have are a bit too short. I was craving Chicken & Waffles, so I did not bother looking at the menu. My order came out relatively quick and looked great! Do note that the "honey" in the order comes in those quick/to-go packets. It is your basic fare as opposed to something special or artisan. The waffle itself was crispy on the outside, a bit cakey on the inside. The 2 pieces of fried chicken were moist on the inside. I could not, however, discern any brining to enhance its flavor. Overall, it was a solid dish for just $19. I would say this is a good place to visit. I would probably lean towards ordering an omelette/skillet dish in the future, though. read more

One huge complaint: please let people send you preference in DoorDash. Example: I love chicken salad sandwiches but I need them on toast. You have no toast option in the list and you've blocked use of the catch-all preferences field, so I can't just say, "toast it, please." I can find other examples, but there are Iiterally ten items I won't order from you because a little flexiblity makes a big difference. read more

Bajis Signature Omelette (5/5): so yummy. Each bite was well rationed with the ingredients being used. The bell peppers were crunchy and really added an extra layer to the texture. The flavor was just right. It wasn't overwhelmingly salty nor under salted. The hash browns were amazingly crispy. Service was great. Went bike riding and passed this place and a couple of days ago, so I decided to try it. The place is really nice with sports memorabilia, even though I only saw one warriors pic of Joe Smith. The gravy was just a simple white gravy with some sausage bits. I found it to be a little under seasoned (which I fixed with some salt and pepper at the table) and it was okay. Had the pleasure to try this place after touring the Google Visitor Experience Cafe! It's about a 6 minute drive from there. Lots of parking spots. We arrived around 12:30 pm and we were sat immediately. Not that many people at first, but it was packed when we left. A homey intimate diner with personality and class. There was a miscommunication with my order because I ordered the chicken fried steak entree but my waiter interpreted it as the side order. Not much a problem but I waited about 10 more minutes until my full order was fulfilled with the accompanying sides of French roll, cole slaw, and French fries. It was very filling that's for sure. The gravy on the steak wasn't gritty but had a smooth texture and creamy savory taste that made the meat easier to chew on and enhanced the flavor. The cole slaw was okay since I wished it had more seasoning. The French fries were a bit dry so I had to season it with lots of salt and pepper. Post pandemic there was less need for this and with remote teams and awful traffic the pre workday in face meeting is kaput. Veggie omelet with meat removed, health nut option, removed cheese and added avocado. 5$ unlimited refill coffee. 40$/pp after tax and tip. Post pandemic cooking skills improved, we have brunch at home with higher grade ingredients for omelets, cream+fresh fruit waffles, fresh baked bread, fresh butter made from costco cream. The quality is 10x better. The cost difference between what can be made at home is too large to justify. The exact impact of this is we take the same $ and allocate them to dimsum or dosa breakfasts at UlavacharU instead. Declining appeal for a 40$ American style egg breakfast with unlimited coffee. read more

I had a solid diner/cafe experience at Baki's. We were seated quickly and brought drinks right away. Me and my dining companion were catching up and not looking at the menu. The server was patient and checked back with us to take our order. I appreciated that. I ordered the jalapeño cheese burger and my friend ordered the club sandwich. The club sandwich was huge. My burger was flavorful. The jalapeños were freshly grilled and had a nice char on them but still had some texture. Good spicy taste. The fries were crispy and very good. I do like my loma verde omelet ($20 with hash browns and toast), and my companions liked their scramble and chocolate chip pancakes. The pancake tasted just 'ok' to me. Bacon costs extra. My first cup of coffee was about 2/3 full and I had to request a second cup. They never offered a refill of that. What happened to roaming servers with coffee pots in hand? i've been coming here ever since the onset of the pandemic in 2020, this place provided lots of outdoor seating, making it super easy to socially distance from my eating buddies. even after the height of the pandemic was over, i continued coming here for the great service and food. did i mention they have a TON of seating inside too? even though they offer breakfast and lunch, i ONLY come for breakfast/brunch b/c i just love my eggs, toast, pancakes and biscuits. this is actually one of the few breakfast joints that offers a fluffy homemade biscuit, since most other cafe's just offer toast and potatoes. my gotos are either the sierra vista vegetarian or vegetarian delight omelette, since these are filled with tons of veggies and flavour! note that you can order these as either omelette, scramble or in a wrap...so choose your own adventure! for my 2 sides, i usually pick biscuit and fruit or toast and fruit. service is always very prompt and accurate, even on the busiest of days, i've never had to wait very long for my food to arrive...and always hot and fresh! there's usually a good amount of parking just outside, though some of the spaces are a little tight. easy access to 101 freeway from either rengstorff or san antonio. read more

As we walked in, the ambience is very simple and yet also unique and inviting. Service was immediate and friendly. They took care of all of our needs while here. The menu will take you some time to get through as there are many amazing offerings. The breakfast items we got were fantastic.
