Cute little cafe. A bit expensive for breakfast items specially if you get the eggs plate. Husband got the eggs your eay (over medium) which came with potatoes and toast. It was quite small and he added a side of 2 eggs ($8.5 or 2 eggs) making his dish total more than $23! For eggs and toast! I got the eggplantsandwich ($18) whoch was super tasty and would eat that again. It came with yummy fries.

This is a very popular weekend spot. While there was no line, it was definitely crowded. It is a relatively small restaurant, having both indoor and outdoor seating. The walls are decorated with sports items. It was nice having a TV nearby so I would watch a sporting event while dining. Service was first rate and attentive. Iced teas and sodas are served in a large, retro style Coca-Cola tumbler. I would recommend they provide longer straws, however. The standard ones they have are a bit too short. I was craving Chicken & Waffles, so I did not bother looking at the menu. My order came out relatively quick and looked great! Do note that the "honey" in the order comes in those quick/to-go packets. It is your basic fare as opposed to something special or artisan. The waffle itself was crispy on the outside, a bit cakey on the inside. The 2 pieces of fried chicken were moist on the inside. I could not, however, discern any brining to enhance its flavor. Overall, it was a solid dish for just $19. I would say this is a good place to visit. I would probably lean towards ordering an omelette/skillet dish in the future, though.

Standard diner with all day breakfast available. Came by while waiting for my car maintenance for a quick bite. Service was nice and fast, food came out hot and delicious. Everything was decent. Less food than expected and we finished our meal with no leftovers.

Located along Middlefield near 101, parking spots are few but available. There's a good amount of seating indoors. I also liked that they had a ventilated outdoor seating area too. Bajis Signature Omelette (5/5): so yummy. Each bite was well rationed with the ingredients being used. The bell peppers were crunchy and really added an extra layer to the texture. The flavor was just right. It wasn't overwhelmingly salty nor under salted. The hash browns were amazingly crispy. Service was great. The staff did an excellent job making sure we didn't need anything. Overall, Bajis Cafe is an awesome breakfast/brunch place. Food is phenomenal with top tier customer service.

Went bike riding and passed this place and a couple of days ago, so I decided to try it. The place is really nice with sports memorabilia, even though I only saw one warriors pic of Joe Smith. My daughter and myself had the meat lovers skillet which comes with a side of toast or pancake/waffle. My daughter got the pancake and I got the waffle. The skillet was delicious, but the waffle and pancake was very rubbery and disappointing. Overall great restaurant and the staff was very friendly.

A nice, friendly, solid American Style diner. I had the biscuits and gravy and some hash browns. The biscuits were cooked well, soft on the inside with a nice firm top/bottom. The gravy was just a simple white gravy with some sausage bits. I found it to be a little under seasoned (which I fixed with some salt and pepper at the table) and it was okay. Not the most amazing biscuits and gravy I've ever had but a some 3 star and I would eat again if in the area. The hash browns were mid and just okay. Nothing special but nothing horrifying either. The staff working there were super friendly and quick and were overall great!

    Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

Best orange juice 10/10 would definitely recommend. The chicken was perfectly crispy and cooked amazingly. The waffles were perfectly fluffy and crunchy. Eggs were also great. Highly recommend Bajis Cafe.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this little diner. Went to breakfast and had a great time. The food was tasty and the service was great. The people working there tagged team the tables and made sure everyone had what they needed. They checked on us as they walked by to make sure we were good. The scene is a little dated, but it's expected for a diner. Not a bad place to grab some breakfast and chill with friends.

    Huevos rancheros

Stopped here on our way to Gilroy from SFO airport after arriving on a morning flight. While I am not a breakfast person and usually order pancakes everywhere I go, I had an California omelette with hash browns and pancakes. Daughter had chilaquiles. Would come back if in the area.

Hash!?? - A plate features two slices of toasted bread with jam and a serving of roasted potatoes mixed with diced vegetables.

We miss Baji! The prices are outrageous($18.50 for a fair looking and tasting omelette and $14.50 for the hash seen here). No senior breakfast for my folks Soooooo disappointed in the food, prices and service! The restaurant upgrades are nice, but that's about it. If you think you will be eating at the Baji's of the old days here at this location or at Bergman's, you will be very disappointed. Maybe change the name?? I think Baji would be embarrassed.

    Are there buckwheat pancakes gluten-free?

Hi, the buckwheat pankanks include wheat flour in the ingredients, which unfortunately is not gluten free.

    Absolutely.

Hi Renee, we have the Pure Maple Syrup add-on for $1.50.

And it works! I would have most of these again! We started with drinks of course. Her cocktails are expensive ($20-23 per) so we veered into wine which was a hair bit more palatable ($17-20). I had a Syrah and boyfriend had the Cab. It was cool to hear that Stephanie personally picks what is featured and we have to say, her picks were right up our alley. Disco fries - awesome. Fries topped with pork, cotija cheese, jalapeños, and pickled onions. Savory, spicy, with that pop of acid. What's missing? A sweet element you say? She got you covered with a drizzle of coconut that can't be seen but can be tasted. Goat Empanadas: the Izard namesake. Super flaky pastry and the goat was treated exceptionally well. If you didn't tell me it was goat, I would have just assumed pork. The hucatay sauce was herby and delicious. We also used it for the fries. Hamachi Crudo: really liked her play on textures and flavors here. The puffed rice and the hamachi were really nice foils, but the true star were those peels of kumquat which are totally in season now - bright, citrusy, tart. Salmon - this was a tad on the salt bomb side for me. The miso base was salty because duh, miso. But then then salmon was also aggressively seasoned before having a sichuan spice oil generously covering it. The salmon was cooked perfectly otherwise. Pandan flan: toasted rice, macerated strawberries, and creamy pandan flavor. No complaints lol. I would definitely welcome a repeat experience. We didn't try any of the big plates because we really wanted to variety.

The Cielo Rosa, with mezcal and jalapeño has a lot going on as well. The forager had great mushroom flavor and loved the roasted garlic. The first bites were great- wish they could have kept the crust crispier for later bites. (Heated plate works well) The beet salad was really good. Unfortunately, we left regretting that decision. From the start, the experience felt unwelcoming when we were seated with our 3-year-old daughter. There was no single overtly disrespectful moment, but the overall tone and repeated small interactions made us feel like we were being judged for having a child with us. At one point, when our daughter accidentally dropped her fork while playing, the reaction we received came across as frustration, which added to that feeling. We understand not every restaurant is designed for young children, but Broma presents itself as a place for friends and family. Instead, we felt like we had to constantly manage and overcorrect normal toddler behavior, which created stress and took away from what should have been a special occasion. Because of that, we didn't feel comfortable raising concerns during the meal when the server checked in--we were more focused on getting through the experience without drawing additional attention. We were also offered an off-menu item without any mention of price. The menu we were given did not list the smash burger, so when I ordered a double, I had no context for the cost. The final price was a surprise, and we would have made a different decision with that information upfront. The food itself did not match the price point. The "smash burger" was not prepared in the style typically expected, and overall the meal felt underwhelming for the cost. Lastly, the billing was confusing. The paper receipt listed "gratuity," while the digital receipt labeled the same charge as a "service charge," making it unclear whether an additional tip was expected. That lack of clarity does not align with the level of transparency expected at this price point. We don't mind paying for a great experience, especially for meaningful occasions, but this visit did not meet that standard and ultimately left us regretting our choice to celebrate here.

(Underrated luxury.) Now, the hotel itself? Visually... a moment. It looked like someone invested serious money into it, but the design felt a little space-meets-startup-meets-what's-happening-here. Some elements felt elevated, others felt a bit makeshift. I genuinely couldn't tell what the theme was -- futuristic? celestial? boutique-on-a-budget? I'm still processing. The front desk team was clearly well-trained and knowledgeable -- they had every answer, every stat, every rate breakdown ready. But the warmth? Missing. I was hoping for a little storytelling since I'd never heard of the hotel before, and instead got a very matter-of-fact "we've been here five years" energy. Efficient, yes. Inviting, not quite. But let's talk about why you're really here: the coffee shop. Completely different vibe. Two people working, both genuinely happy, welcoming, and quick. We ordered a latte and a matcha to go -- total was about $22, which made me blink for a second -- but then I tasted the matcha. Oh. This wasn't the overly sweet, dusty-green situation you sometimes get. It tasted clean. Real. High-quality. The kind of matcha that feels intentional. I love Firehouse in Marin, but this? This was closer to serious coffee roaster-level quality. Smooth, organic-tasting, beautifully balanced. You could tell they care about what they're serving. Branding was strong, the space was cute, and I could absolutely see myself sitting there with my laptop pretending I'm writing something important. We grabbed ours to go, but it had that easy, airy, "stay awhile" energy. Would I book the hotel? Jury's still out. They don't have an in-house spa and mentioned bringing in third-party services for certain amenities, which made it feel a little less full-service than I expected. Would I go back for the coffee shop? Without hesitation. Delicious drinks, easy parking, quick service, and a vibe that actually makes you want to come back. Sometimes the side character steals the show -- and in this case, it's 100% the matcha.

It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art!
