4/25/2026 Casa Mia 2483 Old Middlefield Way Mountain View, CA 94043 I went there for a Saturday breakfast just after they opened. There is a large parking lot surrounding the building with the entrance on the RHS. The interior is a clean spacious table and bench setup with fairly new furnishings. There is also an outdoor patio area with awning coverage. There was one other person there and they were doing a good take out business. I ordered the House Special Chicharron & Eggs which comes with refried beans and foil wrapped warm soft corn tortillas. My meal was brought to me muy rapido and the reason was the scrambled eggs were warm and the beans were cold. The Chicharron was covered and soaked with my requested red sauce, some were crunchy on the outside and some were very soggy. The skins had a good porky taste. The sauce was not very spicy with little pepper flavor. The tortillas had a nice slightly sweet corn flavor. This is the first time I tried this dish and I won't repeat for this. They have an extensive breakfast menu with other items I'd like to try. Prices are reasonable and service was very good. I will repeat.

This is a popular breakfast spot in Mountain View. Go early and put your name down because it can get busy, but they usually move through the line pretty quickly. The staff is extremely friendly, and you have the option to sit inside or outside. They offer the usual breakfast plates along with some Mexican-style dishes if you're in the mood for something different. We went with the chilaquiles and waffles. Both were really tasty, the chilaquiles hit the spot and the waffles were crisp and delicious. This place definitely delivers for breakfast or brunch. Shout out to Casa Mia!

The way I still think about the red chilaquiles and the fresh carrot orange juice...so so good! The food was so flavorful and the juice refreshing. Given how busy it was, the environment did feel a bit stressful with the waiters rushing and being a bit rude. However, the food was so good that I would give this spot another try!

Like the traditional dishes with a few American dishes with a Mexican twist! They also had a great selection of coffees and breakfast crepes!

Got what the server recommended - chilaquiles with chile poblano sauce and steak, and it was so good. Very flavorful and creamy without being too salty or heavy. Not at all spicy, which was nice. Also got the chicken tenders for the kids, which was really good - very tender and juicy, not at all dry. Fries were also nicely done. It was not at all like the typical kids chicken tenders. Would highly recommend.

chorizo omelette was very yum. They were super generous with the chorizo, and it was very flavorful. The hash browns were perfectly crispy too chilaquiles and french toast were just ok. Actually really liked the orange butter that came with the french toast but it was a bit too eggy for me

One of the best brunch places I've tried in the Bay Area! We came in on a Sunday and were seated fairly quick. It was really clean in there and they had great customer service. The food was delicious and full of flavor, the only thing I would say to improve on is the temperature of the food other than that everything was perfect. We tried the birria breakfast plate and the lechera pancakes, they were both a 10/10. I can't wait to try their other menu items.

I went on a Sunday morning with my mom around 11:30 and it was packed! People waiting outside as well when we left even. Even though it was so crowded, we were able to be seated right away. Really a no frills kinda place, but every seat in the house taken! I got the apple chicken sausage with over easy eggs, hashbrowns and sour dough toast. My mom got basic butter milk pancakes which were nice and fluffy and had like an orange zest butter on top. Service was friendly and food was out in an expected time manner with regard to how busy it was. If I was in the area, I would be back! Parking is plentiful which is needed!

Food: Phenomenal. You cannot go wrong with the chilaquiles! The hashbrowns were also a pleasant surprise -- soft but well baked and super flavorful. Service: The service here -- from putting down my name to wait for a table to the actual dining experience -- were wonderful. Excellent hospitality! My friends and I stayed for awhile after eating, and we were never rushed out!! Ambiance: Warm & cozy. Such a vibe.

This place is really good. It does get packed but seems to be fast with the food service. I really enjoyed the mimosa. The Pork chilaquiles were definitely star of the breakfast. Tender pork and crunch of tortilla added great texture m. My eggs Benedict wasn't bad but might try something else next time.

Went to CM for brunch on a Saturday. The place was packed and we got one of the last parking spots in an otherwise good sized parking lot. The inside is clean and no frills pretty basic. The place was buzzing with activity. Every item we ordered was top notch delicious, all cooked properly and to our spec: -Mexican omelette special with wet with chili verde and hash browns -Oreo pancakes & buttermilk pancakes -3 Berry French Toast -Birria special with eggs and beans We were waited on quickly and the food arrived straight away. These folks were not messing around! Our server was nothing short of amazing. She was so nice, so busy and so spot on given all the tables she was juggling. When we left there were 20 folks waiting for their turn at a table. We will definitely return.

Absolute banger of a breakfast spot!!! The chilaquiles with the chipotle sauce was so so good! And the huevos rancheros with chorizo was also delicious. I will admit that I do think it is a little pricey compared to other breakfast spots but it was totally worth it. I definitely want to come back and try some sweets. Service and inside is nice!

If I could give 10 stars, I honestly would. This place feels like an undiscovered gem. The server was incredibly sweet, everything was very clean, and the prices were totally reasonable. The interior isn't anything fancy, just simple and normal, but honestly that didn't bother me at all. I had the chilaquiles and my daughter had the kids' cheeseburger. It was my first time trying chilaquiles and it instantly became one of the most delicious things I've ever had. And the cheeseburger was exactly what a cheeseburger should be, nothing extra, nothing missing. I really loved our experience and would recommend this place to everyone. I'll definitely be back soon.

Mid week brunch meant a quieter atmosphere and open seating. After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter before sitting at a table after picking up utensils and water. I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. Although it was a decently sized plate, I guess I expected a bit more for over $25...the french toast was like two halves of one slice, but the chicken apple sausage and potatoes were good. Coffee was nice as well, and they kept coming by to refill, which was nice and needed. However disaster struck when one of the waiters knocked off a tray from a ledge right by our table. The tray crashed onto our table and spilled water, hot coffee, and creamer all over me, and our under two year old who started crying. I rushed over to check for burns from the coffee, but luckily it was okay. After the clean-up I was waiting to see if anyone might come by to ask if anything was needed, let me know if I could get more food since I wasn't entirely finished, or at least apologize and comp our meal. Unfortunately I didn't get any replacement food, and they brought the bill and mentioned that we didn't have to pay for coffee...$68 pre-tip was a little upsetting after our experience, even though I know accidents can happen... The two of us were dubious about the Millionaire's Bacon, because it was hyped up to the point where it seemed unlikely that it could live up to the reputation. We were wrong. We ordered the Millionaire's Bacon sampler platter, which is four strips of long, thick pieces of bacon, baked with brown sugar and spices. There is the original, which is brown sugar, cayenne, red, and black pepper, which was sweet, salty, and the perfect amount of spicy. The other slices were orange, cinnamon, and rosemary. My partner enjoyed the orange best, whereas I loved the cinnamon, but we both thought the rosemary was underwhelming. The bacon itself was very thick and meaty with a minimal amount of fat, and was just clearly high quality pork. Truly worth the hype. We also got the bottomless mimosas, which not only had multiple choices of juice (we got raspberry lemonade) but were surprisingly heavy on the champagne. The waiter kept them coming without us needing to ask, to the point where I had to tell him I was done because I was a little too tipsy for breakfast. My partner got the chicken croffle, and was very impressed. I tried the fried chicken (though not the croffle) and it was very well spiced, very crunchy, and well cooked--juicy and tender. I got the big hip, which is deep fried "french toast". I wouldn't call it french toast myself, but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and came with fresh fruit, butter, and syrup. There wasn't enough syrup for the entire dish, but I asked our waiter for more and he came back with it in less than a minute. On top of the food being as close to perfect as you can get, the service was great. Several different waiters checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we were enjoying the food and that we didn't need anything else. The vibes of the restaurant are really enjoyable too. The décor is lovely, the sound levels are very reasonable, and everything was spotless during our visit. Overall, I can't recommend Sweet Maple enough, and I'm kind of glad it's not closer to my house because I would go bankrupt with the amount of Millionaire's Bacon I'd buy on a weekly basis.

The host received us warmly, but things slipped from there. Our table was missing cutlery and we had to flag our server down to get it sorted. We asked for a minute to look over the menu since it was our first visit. He did not come back for five minutes, and only because we flagged him down again. When we ordered, he took our request without making eye contact, attention clearly elsewhere in the restaurant. One dish came out. The second did not. Our server never circled back to check on us, and seemingly did not notice that one of us had no food in front of her. After nearly ten minutes, we flagged him down again. He called over from across the restaurant, not walking to us, with a "what?" We had to gesture that my guest still had no food. He came over briefly, confirmed our order, said it was coming soon, and left. No apology. No acknowledgment of the wait. No offer to make it right while one plate sat getting cold. The food eventually came, again with no apology. It was good. But by then, honestly, the experience had overshadowed it. We asked for a manager. Cathy came over, listened, and immediately apologized. She agreed the service fell short, gave us a break on the bill, and handled the situation with real grace. She is the reason this review has any stars at all! For reference, our server's name on the receipt read Mui F. I hope Cathy's conversation with him makes a difference, because Sweet Maple clearly has the food to back up its reputation. Very cute place with an inviting layout and feels super clean. We decided to share two dishes - Thai salad with chicken - flavorful and lots of salad. Slightly light on chicken. - salmon salad sandwich. Very tasty - fries divine. Six stars for service as they split the salad and sandwich for us so it's easy to share. So thoughtful. There menu isn't huge but they have specialty options that rotate frequently so you can't get sick of it! The indoor seating is nice, but on a sunny day you have to enjoy the outdoor set up. There's great shading from the verandas and umbrellas. The portions are huge for everything but the salads are especially massive. You MUST try the tater tots. They are the best I've ever had. Perfectly crispy and golden, without being excessively greasy. If you get the sandwiches or burgers, you can sub out the fries for free. The fries are good too, but trust me, you will not regret getting the tots.
