This is my favorite go to bagel shop in the east valley. I have been coming here for years. When it comes to bagel quality this is the best (unless you like NY Bagels, then keep looking)! However, they have so many new employees the customer service is not as good as it was just 18 months ago. It has gotten even worse since they turned the ordering procedures around and lost key employees. There has been a consistent decline over that time period but today I am so offended that I may not visit again. Today I put in my order and waited for pick up. I am hearing impaired and the person called out the name Mariah. I stepped forward because it sounded close enough to Brian in the crowded Saturday morning crowd. I said, "For Brian?". the newer employee said, "Are you Mariah?" And then rolled her eyes at me while handing it to the other customer. I said, "I am so sorry, with my hearing aides I could not hear you well." She again rolled her eyes at me, said nothing, turned her back on me and kept working ignoring me from that point forward. Horrible customer service at Tempe/Chandler location! I received a coupon via e-mail and placed an order for pick up the next day. I was not aware that they closed at 2pm so I showed up at 2;30 to pick up and they were closed! I missed out on taking my order up North to friends for the weekend & I did not even receive a reminder that my order was ready and that they were closing at 2pm. I was REFUSED a refund! Love the bagels here but the service makes this place awful. My friends and I frequent this place after our gym session almost every Saturday. They are ALWAYS RUDE. I had asked for a bagel with turkey sausage when it came with turkey bacon I politely let the lady know. She then asked for my name aggressively and said well your ticket here says turkey bacon so ? The lady at the front desk is a bit off putting. She seems to bark your order back at you and make you feel bad for coming in. I ordered a bagel and coffee, also wanted a pastry as well but she had already rung me up and was giving me instructions on how to pay before I could say anything. I didn't want to bother her to work anymore so I just paid and sat down. The gentleman who made my bagel was much friendlier. The bagel was okay, not really toasted and completely smothered in cream cheese. Not everyone likes it that way, but I guess that was my mistake and I should have said easy on the cream cheese. I just wasn't expecting them to put half a tub on one bagel. A man I would assume was the owner was in the back talking on his cell phone and calling workers back to talk to them. Nova Lox was tasty with the tomato and capers layered in with the cream cheese. My criticism is with the egg white scramble. It consisted of cooked egg whites dices up with a frozen hash brown patty that was diced up, mixed with microwaved bacon crumbled and topped with cheese. Nothing gourmet about it and it was somewhat of a small portion. I guess I can't expect much for a scramble bowl since this place is a fast casual place mainly for bagels. I got it to go but the service was great and they had a pretty large dining room area with plenty of room to grab a seat if you wanted to. Came here for the first time in a long time and I must say I was not impressed with the scramble bowl I got. I should have just sent it back after the first bite but I hate to be "that guy". The scramble bowl was eggs, cheese, hash browns and I asked for bacon at my protein. It came out relatively fast, piping hot with a side of salsa. The eggs were strange. Texture was weird, not real flavor (thank goodness for salt I added and that salsa). There was a little bit of bacon, hardly any hash browns and some cheese. Food is always great. Staff is friendly. If anything (not that bad) the menu on the wall is small and hard to see until you're at the counter. We recommend the Arizona classic with sausage. That, and it's conveniently down the street from me. Finally had time to stop in this morning to order something different I will say, I was hugely disappointed by the proportion of their egg white scramble bowl. $7 dollars for something that is as small as a side. I mean, the mark up is terribly unjustified. Given, I did elect for no meat, but I can't imagine it making much of a difference. On top of that, it wasn't much of an egg white scramble as you can see in the picture I added - a bunch of yolk present. Either up the the proportion or lower the price. Setting the stage - Sunday Morning. I was slightly hungover and worked out at Orangetheory Gilbert. Needed nourishment QUICKLY. Punch in "breakfast/brunch" around me on Yelp since I don't live in Gilbert. Bagel Nosh was #1 on the search queue, so I took a deeper look. Despite my attempts to avoid bread and pastas, I could not do such a thing after making it thru the workout that broke my hungoverness. The bread smell inside is overwhelming. Their bagels are huge! Did I mention too that they have alllll the varieties and about 20-30 different sandwiches? I went with the Sun Devil and an iced coffee (which are huge as well) and couldn't resist diving in before leaving the parking lot. They could probably stand to have another person working the line on the weekends but if its due to 2020 constraints they can't that's understandable.
