While enjoying my food, I saw many repeat customers coming in for drinks and raw clams. The drinks are pretty good and strong. The oysters that I ordered were delicious. Would have been nice to know where they are coming from. Not all oysters taste the same. The waitress was great. Very welcoming and attentive. The fried calamari was great, just wish I had a bigger portion. Overall, this is a decent spot to visit. Id come back and enjoy the bar. And you want, its located within walking distance of a peer. Another place that I thought I reviewed, but I have not. I had a great date here a few years back and the dude kept refilling my plate while we conversed. It took me a few moments to realize why my plate wasn't emptying. It wasn't a romantic match and we are still friends to this day and laugh about that date. Aaaand the last time I was here I went with my dad and we always have a great time together. The food is consistently good not fancy just a casual Long Island seafood restaurant. I have been here a few times but it has always been in the warmer months so we sit outside. this time we were seated inside a nice spacious dining area with a nice size bar. our hostess who was also our waitress was outstanding with her hospitality.for appetizers we ordered the top neck clams on the half shell that were cold, fresh and so delicious and deep fried calamari that was cooked perfectly. for my main meal I had the fish and chips that were nice and crisp on the outside and moist and flavorful inside. Chrissy had the bay scallops and shrimp alfredo over linguine she said it was very good. I ordered the frozen margarita to quench my thirst and it did exactly that so I had to order two more that's how good they were. A fabulous place with great food. It is just a few miles from the beach soit is perfect for dinner. The food is always fresh and well prepared. The portions are huge so I bring some of it home. There is both indoor and outdoor dining very neat the water. Service is great. They also have fabulous cocktails and specials. The crab stuffed shrimp were memorable. Overpriced, sub par food. Service was good. It was my second time and I didn't have the same experience as the first time, food wise. Came here for my daughter's first birthday. Wonder restaurant in a beautiful neighborhood of Babylon. We sat outside on their patio. They cleaned the table and chairs between guests. The staff was lovely and attentive. The food was delicious! Is a nice little place on the the corner not far away from the water. My wife and I got the special ( Salmon, Tuna, Flounder with choice of 2 sides $22). I am always sceptical when it comes to dine out but this one really surprised me!!! I had the Tuna Medium rare ( cooked on point) my wife the flounder she really liked. I will say this is some of the freshest seafood I've enjoyed in a long time. The service was warm and inviting. The young busboy was polite and attentive. The seafood bisque was creamy, but not heavy. The clams and mussels were absolutely to die for, and the garlic bread was an excellent tool to use in order to lap up and soak up all the wonderful sauce. I have never had a more delicious seafood pasta in my entire life. This pasta is my favorite meal in the world and worth every penny ( a hefty $28 dollars). The pasta is a dinner special but my wonderful waiter mike was able to hook it up and get it for my friend and I for lunch. You can choose the sauce and type of noodle--I usually get the penne with vodka sauce. The crab and shrimp is fresh and delicious and I have absolutely no complaints. Nothing was seasoned or had taste and the steamers were fillllllllleddd with sand. When we spoke to the server about our meal she told us that "we do not use salt because not everyone likes it". After being someone that has worked in a restaurant since I was 16, I was shocked to here someone say this. Local favorite, its nothing fancy, just fresh fish cooked in simply good ways. Good raw or baked clams and a tiny fresh fish market selection. They do have the best Manhattan clam chowder in Long Island (my opinion). They make nice drinks and the owners are super nice! When you come in here you feel like family. It is the same owners as next door (the bigger and a little less casual, Pier 44). Update 12/2013: The food has gone downhill and our recent experience had 2 items completely wrong, but based on prior experiences and how great the owners are I only took off one star. Please change back to how you were before, don't buy the frozen pre-made baked chopped clams, they were awful and for $19, I was furious.
