ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! My cousin and I accidently stopped by last night 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. The bartender was perfectly fine with it and the food still came out super fresh and delicious! She was so personable and constantly checked on us. This is my new favorite little spot and I will definitely be returning!

Today was hot I came to riptides! I know they have grilled octopus. Noticed a few other people that were here It look like everybody was almost licking all the plates they were served .even the kids looked happy. My experience coming here in the mid day was what I needed. I can't complain about anything .there's no reason to. If you need to hear more about This place. come on down. Parking is VIP very cool. Doesn't cost to park The Bartender + server very experienced Five stars always ! riptides is very clean. Check out some of the food pics Enjoy!

Got dinner there tonight through door dash. We used to order take out from this restaurant regularly before they were closed for a period of time. The food was always great. Tonight I got the "over loaded" lobster rolls. This was something I've gotten from them many times in the past and never had any complaints, tonight not so much. I got 2 tiny little lobster rolls with barely any lobster in them. They have the audacity to charge $31 for these (that's the menu price, door dash was $33). I feel like I've been ripped off and will never order from here again.

Came in on a tuesday night. Had a friend in town for a few nights so we got together for dinner and drinks . Riptides did not disappoint in any aspects . We were welcomed and felt a cool vibe immediately. Drinks were on point and food was better then expected. Keep up the good work and we'll see you real soon again

Place smells like the owners smoke in there after hours. Definitely an older crowd. The food and service were good. Food was fresh and tasty. I just can't get past the smell. Other reviewers said this place used to be a dive bar. It still is.

This place was an unexpected fun vibe with a nautical theme and pool table in the back. I agree with other comments that it's very loud in there despite the music not being loud tho. My friends and I split the steak skewers which I do not recommend. We ordered them medium but they came out on a piping hot skillet that wound up overcooking them by the time they got to the table and they stuck to the pan. Also they were incredibly salty and just two small skewers for 19 bucks-not worth it. The taco dip was amazing tho but woulda been nice if it came with actual tortilla chips instead of crumbs tho. Plus the chip to dip ratio was way off, we ended up eating most of the dip with a spoon. It was very flavorful tho. For an entree I got the pesto chicken sandwich with fries. Decent portion size and flavor and the fries were not greasy. Coulda used a little more pesto on there but good none the less. I got the blue mock tail to drink as I wanted something non alcoholic but still fun. Our server was friendly and they're also on the foodie card!

You can risk parking on the main road, but there are parking lots nearby that are much more convenient. The speakeasy style vibe is very cool and the open bar/kitchen is fun to watch the guys behind it work their magic. Staff were friendly and very helpful, but my one qualm was that our server opted to try and just remember our order by heart rather than writing it down, everything came out right, but he did have to confirm with us that he had the order right. Starting with cocktails, which I think is where this place really shines, I got the pistachio martini and their signature old fashioned. On top of just how pretty the drinks are, they match it with the quality. The old fashioned is one of the better ones I've had and was my favorite of the two, but I'm not sure you can go wrong with any choice on their list! Then for food, we started with the blackened scallops and the pork belly empanadas. Both were tasty but the empanadas were my personal favorite of the two. The scallops felt a little over seasoned, but obviously not to the point of being inedible. For mains, I got the lamb meatballs, and I tried a bit of my girlfriend's steak sandwich. The meatballs and sauce were just as good as any Italian place I've been to and perfect serving size. The steak sandwich though was served on THE softest ciabatta I've ever tasted but still held together well and made for an excellent, albeit huge, sandwich. I think she beat me out by just a hair on this one. I had really wanted to get their grilled cheese and tomato soup, but they had just run out, but I think they were just coming up with an elaborate ruse to get me to come back! Well, it's working, because I will absolutely comeback for more cocktails and that grilled cheese! We sat at the very last table in the restaurant, and this raises my only other concern, when the kitchen doors would swing open, you would get a quick smell of that garbage kind of smell which was a little off putting, but it wasn't constant enough where we were bothered to be asked to move our table, but food for thought. Surfing up just a few small things could easily have this place up to 5 stars from 4.

The waitstaff often seems disorganized, and communication regarding delays is lacking. I understand restaurants get busy, but after multiple visits, the same problems keep occurring. We were greeted by our waitress & seated immediately. Our waitress was quite attentive. She was a pleasure to have around, I forget her name but she's a petite woman with long black hair. There were only two other tables occupied at that time and a few ppl at the bar. First impression, a nice cozy restaurant full of bold colorful decor, nice sized bar, maybe 5-6 sections in total. Drinks: the passion fruit margarita was amazing! I love that they used fresh fruit in the drink. My father enjoyed a coconut drink and sister had a spicy margarita. All delicious My nephews did not enjoy the lemonade (not sweet) or sweet tea (also not sweet). Also, there is only one choice for the kids' menu so we ordered chicken fingers and fries for my 5 y/o nephew. FYI per the waitress every dish is cooked to order so be prepared to wait Appetizers: I wanted the cod fish fritters but was informed they were no longer available and will be removed from the menu. We ordered the trio of empanadas which consisted of 1 cheese, 1 chicken, & 1 beef. My hungry teenager devoured the meat ones and I split the cheese one with my nephew. All tasty, no complaints. Dinner: I ordered the passion fruit (wild caught) salmon served over shredded collard greens & yucca mash (small portion but full of flavor sorry forgot to take photo). Every one else ordered a beef meal and were pleased. FYI: gratuity was included on the bill, she deserved every $$. The owners did not come over to greet us but the waitress did an amazing job checking on us non stop and making sure drinks were refilled and plates were removed in a timely manner.
