I LOVE Babe's, but in recent months they changed the Thursday special from COMBO to VEGGIE due to "supply issues" They're not being honest One of these comes with FIVE(5!) kinds of meat, the other has.. NO MEAT.. none, and the "special" is the SAME PRICE. The Friday special includes meat, has NOT changed, and is considerably cheaper. I recommend to anyone willing to listen, not to eat their pizza now. Underhanded businesses don't deserve your hard-earned dollar. read more

Excellent pizza and outstanding salad bar. Calzone made fresh is a meal itself. Check their daily specials to save some money.Cutten Crunch pizza is the best. Service is good, ambiance is fair. read more

Been going here for two years! They messed up my order and like a goof I didn't check my pizza. Drove 20 minutes home and discovered the pizza was not what I ordered. Called to let them know and drove 20 minutes back and they offered me $3 in credit or a free dessert. The next pizza was partially uncooked. Bye Babe, you all have lost my business read more

What happened to the quality? My daughter stopped getting Babes, now I know why! I got my favorites tonight. I picked it up when I was told it would be ready. But... the BLT lettuce was all rusty and wilted. Both were cold, like actually cold. That's it for me. I'm out. read more

Best pizza in Humboldt county. Maybe the best on the west coast in my opinion. Hearty and filling. Good people making great food. From the meatballs to the hot wings every time I am happy with this restaurant. read more

Love the fun variety of pizzas they have. The cheeseburger pizza is unique and overflowing with flavor. But my favorite thing is the spinach calzone, it's the best in the county. The service is friendly and as fast as they can be for how busy they are. The salad bar is great also. The restaurant itself could use some updating but they do have good space for larger groups. read more

Consistent service and quality food. The salad to-go box is the next best thing to the pizza!

The pizza is fresh to order and absolutely the best toppings around hands-down. They were only reason it's four stars is because it's so hard to get the food ordered quickly but otherwise pricing quality and food or just great. This place is a gem. read more

Ohhh that's some good local pizza.... Plenty of toppings and good delivery too. The wings were good size wings, not a small wing in the order. Would definitely do this place again read more

Babe's is an unassuming little joint that I found on Yelp and let GPS guide me to. I was a bit wary at first as it's not a tourist type of restaurant and I was by myself. I thought I might grab a pizza to take back to my hotel but I hate eating in my room so I decided to play it by ear. The young lady who helped me was very nice and I decided to dine in. The pizza was very good and hot, hot, hot. I had to ask for a plate and ended up eating my pie with a knife and fork. I figure I might have gotten a few strange glances for that. The nerve! I really enjoyed the pizza and a local beer they recommended. The entire staff was very nice and I'm quite delighted to have found Babe's. It's little places like this that make for great vacation memories. read more

It's a local staple. Pizza is decent , salad bar is decent, raviolis are decent, it's just a great down home local spot.

Excellent customer service. Pizza is the best in town (aside from Round Table). Quick delivery. I recommend the take-n-bake options if you're low on funds. read more

Love the pizza from Babe's!!! Can't go wrong with any pizza or sandwich. Stuff mushroom is my favorite. On Saturday's they have special, buy one get one small topping free. read more

This is such a great place in and even better location. Their menu options are great and price fairly. The salad bar alone will fill you. It is so fresh with many different toppings to choose from. Moving on to what they are known for, now I'm that "weirdo" that likes pineapple on my pizza (so whhhat!) and when I seen they pair it with buffalo chicken and bbq sauce I was sold. It is the right amount of sweet and salty with a little bit of kick from the chicken. So darn good. But don't take my word for it. Go try it out yourself! read more

Babes is always delicious! And their salad bar is good too. We appreciate their rewards points and free delivery.

If you like doughy pizza than this is for you. I personally like my pizza to be cooked. I always (and I encourage you to do this as well) ask for my pizza to be well done. It's the only way it's edible. I forgot today. Pizza is completely inedible. My fault because I know better but also...who the heck likes doughy undercooked pizza?! Why do this? Are they just always on a hurry? Genuinely confused. read more

person on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. Ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. We're then told they don't have meat sauce. I asked if they just ran out as we've ordered it before. She stated that they don't have it. I notified her they may want to update their menu online as it states it. She stated that I looked in the wrong spot as it's updated online. I notified her that it states it on their menu online And they may want to update it. Throughout the rest of the call she was very rude and unprofessional. We've ordered from babes for 10 years and was disappointed in this encounter. Also have the screen shots showing it DOES infact state on their webpage that they offer meat sauce. read more

I love the food at Babes, the folks in the kitchen are great. Unfortunately the folks out front leave much to be desired. Salad bar becomes a mess, items not replaced when they run out, too much BSing, not enough working. If not for that, I'd have given 5 stars read more

Outstanding food and staff!! Hands down the best in Humboldt County for pizza and Italian dishes! Better yet they're delivering and I've ordered for senior friends in lock down without a hitch! The stuffed mushroom pizza is the bomb!! Unique and delicious. In fact the only pizza better is Babes reheated in Air Fryer!! Thank you everyone at Babes for your professional service with every customer!! read more

Over the past year, I've went to Babe's more times than I can count. The pizza has always been amazing, which is why we keep returning, even when the service was less than what it should have been. Today, however, I met a young man by the name of Steve who took that customer service to an entirely new level. While waiting for our food, we watched as he took orders over the phone, entered orders from the people coming in, refilled the salad bar, cleaned the restaurant, brought food out to the tables, went back to get additional items for his diners, and generally went well out of his way to provide service that was on par with the pizza he was serving. Today, I seen Babe's raise the bar to the customer service provided and I hope it's something that remains consistent. read more

Ordered a pepperoni, jalapeno, pineapple pizza but they forgot the jalapeno. For years i avoided pineapple pizza because it was gross by itself until i tried it with jalapenos and fell in love. Anyways, i called about getting reimbursed but the lady said she would put 5 dollars plus the topping i got charged for and didnt get. I had to get in n out instead and threw a 15 dollar pizza away, but at least i got the 5 dollars credit back =_= read more

My favorite place for pizza, their meatball sandwich, pasta with really good marinara sauce. Won't get my pizza (etc.) any where else!

We stopped and picked up 2 vegeterian pizza while coming back from Oregon. Both pizza were pretty dry and difficult to eat. Even though everyone was hungry no one was able to eat more than one slice. Not going to come back to this place. The pizza was below average in taste yet expensive. read more

My family and I love Babe's! We have had several dinners and birthday parties here and everyone is happy. The pizzas, calzones, and salad bar are super delicious, and the kids have fun at the arcade. The staff are very sweet and attentive, and they offer a rewards system so I always have rewards $ on my account when I go in! Thanks, Babe's for being so awesome. PS- They have super yummy take & bake pizzas for like $9! read more

Great food for small prices! What more do you need!? The personal pizza must have weighed two pounds. The calzone done to perfection. Even the little salad bar have fresh and quality items Ate here a second night. Who puts 12 meatballs in their pasta?? These guys. Wow. Can t wait to return. read more

I should have known as I entered that something was amiss... no tap beer, no soda dispenser, and to top it all off...a burnt pepperoni pizza. I would love to say something good though... the people were friendly. I feel like they're operating on a shoestring. Good luck! read more

It's now Monday at noon, 3 days after babe's Pizza messed up my order and I still have yet to receive a response, refund or replacement of the items I paid for from anyone at their management level. No response whatsoever!!! I picked up the phone to call them - yet again - and it the Google search says they are closed and there's no answering machine that can take a message. This clearly is the most egregious of matters I have ever experienced in handling the running of a business. Still waiting to hear from the manager/owners to correct this problem with the pizza sitting in my refrigerator 3 days later. read more

Such a joke. You have to stand in line to order. Ok, not my favorite beginning but no big deal; However the menu posted behind the registers on the wall is not a full menu. For the full menu you are instructed to walk away from the register, lose your spot in line and go to the window where a menu is taped. No menus at the register. Yep you read that correctly. After you wait in line to order you must go back to the end of the line and struggle to read a menu that is taped to the window in such a manner that you have to bend over to read. Eye level? Nope. After food was finally ordered we we shown to a booth. Keep in mind now that we requested indoor dining right? Like our food will be brought to our table on plates with silverware. NOPE. Our cold food was brought in a paper bag. Two cheap paper plates and two cheap plastic forks were sat down on the table next to the paper bag. Inside the paper bag is our food (two half orders of pasta) in plastic bowls with lids. Talk about thinking about the environment! What a waste. The food was barely ok. When I requested salt, I was given salt that had been pre poured into a small styrofoam cup with no lid. Again, not very environmentally conscious or sanitary. There are so many great restaurants in town, I sure wouldnt bother with this one. read more

The Atmosphere: Very TMNT. LOL This place is just an average pizza place, there are tables and chairs, and a little room towards the back with an arcade. Perfect for birthday parties or club get-togethers. The parking lot is small, and shared with other business so it really depends on what time you get here. The Food: Their pizzas are good! My favorite is the garlic chicken, it has a garlic cream sauce, mushrooms, pineapple chicken and cashews. Keep your mind open, this pizza is super yummy. Of course, their normal pep and cheese pizza also kills, the family loves it. The Service: They are always timely and very friendly. I've never had a bad experience regarding service. The Price/Value: I think their prices are comparable to other pizza places in their bracket. Of course they can't compete with Little Caesar's or Dominoes, but the pizza quality is far better. I would highly recommend Babe's for your pizza fix. read more

Great food- I brought a pizza from Eureka to Scotia and the crust was still crunchy. Very pleased with every order I've ever put in. Pasta specials are awesome- nearly enough food for two meals. Their pies are a little more expensive but the quality shows. read more

Delicious! I'm a big pizza fan and I always like to try a new place when traveling. That is how Babe's and I met and they did not disappoint me. I ordered one of their signature pizzas, the Spicy Pig (Pepperoni and Pineapple). The toppings and cheese were perfect, they didn't skimp. The crust is really great too, buttery and the toppings go to the edge. They would have gotten 5 stars for flavor, but the process was a little hoe-hum. I called my pizza in ahead of time and they told me it'd be ready in 20 minutes. When I got there, 25 minutes later, there was a line literally out of the door. I thought awesome, this place must be great! I walked in to get my pizza but I learned quickly that though they had 2 cashiers busting their butts to keep the line moving, but neither line was designated for "Pick up." Almost everyone ahead of me walked in to order, which took me 15-20 minutes of waiting in line to get my order and go. They had stored my pizza on top of the oven, so though it was just warm, it wasn't hot any more. I suggest having one cashier open for the line and having the other cashier open for call ahead orders first, then have them jump in with the rest of the line when there aren't any carryouts present. This will keep your line down as the carryouts take much less time to process. read more

Go literally ANYWHERE else for pizza. We paid $34 for a pizza with dried out, burnt cheese and 18 stringy, inedible wings that had hardly any sauce on them. The pizza was worse than frozen school cafeteria pizza. read more

The pizza looked delicious but the taste? Eh. The chicken pesto was very dry. And the cheese pizza had the faint taste of the cardboard box.
