We would order Papa Murphy's probably once every other month and we loved it we also love babes and we have tried Mountain Mike's in Eureka. I have to say Papa Murphy's is the worst pizza I have had out of the three we ordered a stuffed combination pizza which consisted of mostly pizza sauce cheese and bread absolutely no meat no onion no bell pepper horrible horrible horrible. I have had it with this pizza place. 2nd time I went to get my pizza that was ordered 50 minutes prior to my showing up. workers standing around, pie wasnt ready AGAIN, no one else in shop. My wife and I were looking for something different for dinner. We decided it was time to try Papa Murphy's. I placed my order online and that was a breeze. I was told to pick up my order about a half hour later. When I get there the place is empty except for two workers. They ask if I want the specials and I tell them I ordered on line. The lady took her time and looked around then found my ticket and said it's not done yet it will be a few minutes. No real customer service or apology maybe an explanation. Why give me a time to pick up if it's not ready. Also with no cooking involved you would think 30 minutes was long enough. The guy making pizzas was left to do it all while the coworker looked like to me could have given a hand. Pizza was just ok really. That could have been my fault by letting it brown a little to long. I ordered a Family Style, thin crust, with extra sauce, onions, green pepper, pepperoni, ground beef and italian sausage. I did this over the web. I was promised that it would be ready to pick up in 20 minutes. Well, I arrived 30 minutes later. It wasn't done and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Ok, no worries. The girl called my name and I picked up the pizza, which was covered in pepperoni. Maybe everything else was buried? Got it home, put it in the oven. Took it out after the ascribed time. It wasn't what we ordered. There were no veggies at all. There was no sausage or ground beef. The sauce was spare, AND it was a regular crust. If this had been the first time this has happened, that would be one thing. I've learned my lesson: don't order from Papa Murphy. Never again. read more

The pizzas are exactly what you would want from a take and bake pizza. We have no problems with the pizza but since there are other choices available for take and bake, I would expect good customer service. My husband looks forward to his cheese pizzas every Tuesday when their ad says "$10 Tuesday - any large pizza for $10." He has been getting pizza at this location for the past year, faithfully every Tuesday. He sometimes orders pepperoni or sausage or bacon, never anything more complicated. Today he was told the bacon was an extra topping and he had to pay 50 cents more. He couldn't get a straight answer as to why ANY LARGE PIZZA FOR $10 was suddenly $10.50. Should we call it a bacon pizza? Should we call it an all meat pizza-hold the pepperoni, sausage, salami? He questioned the assistant manager about the change and was told bacon was an extra topping. The $10 Tuesday was only one topping pizzas. (Now mind you, we have been getting $10 pizzas happily with no problems for quite some time) He was told the first topping is the cheese. Following this logic, the only one-topping pizza they make is a cheese pizza. This, at its core, is false advertising. I will pay more for my pizza at an honest establishment. read more

My biggest beef with Papa Murphy's in the past has been their crust. Unlike some other reviewers I feel it's too soft and spongy, especially to be used the next day as leftovers. But, I'll admit it's been years since we've been there until the night before I wrote this review. We called ours in ahead of time and it was ready when I got there. We wanted to put it on our own metal pizza tray when we got home but it seemed kinda stuck on the cardboard one they provided. We just put the pizza, tray and all, on our metal pizza tray and it worked fine. Pizza was ok. Dough seemed a bit more solid than years before, but I'm still not sure it would be good for eating the next day. I also didn't feel as full as I'd normally feel after eating that much. Good enough, though. We'll likely be trying them again next time we're both too tired to hassle with dinner as Papa Murphy's is just a few blocks from us, thus pretty convenient and inexpensive. read more

We go to papa Murphy's often because it's close to home and inexpensive. The pizza is pretty good. They always take forever to make your pizza and they don't even cook them. The staff is normally really nice but the last time I called, one female employee was rude and short. I asked to hear the specials, she delivered a long sigh through the phone, asked me to hold on for a second, then came back and never told me the specials. She didn't say thank you, have a good night, anything. She just hung up once I said "that will be all" I like this place enough to eat here. But my favorite pizza is the Chicago stuffed pizza and the last time I ordered it, it was so thin and not very stuffed. I was disappointed for the first time. I came in asking about a pizza, it wasn't what I thought, the manager steps in and offers to make something, not on their menu, for me free of any upgrade charge. I interacted with 3 staff members, all were pleasant. All employees had good attitudes and smiled at me. It was like old fashioned customer service. I took the survey while they were making my pizza and walked out with free cookie dough. Everyone was so accommodating and kind. Also, I paid with EBT and sometimes people treat you badly when you do, but they treated me like a valued customer. My pizza, salad, and cheesy bread all look very fresh and I can't wait to dig in. Consistent is the best way to describe this place. I like being able to phone in at the last minute and pick up dinner in a pinch. The pizza is actually pretty good considering it is take and bake. I also like to pick up one of their pre-made salads as a side, however, they are often out of the specific salad option I want. The cookie dough is a nice touch but I would recommend staying away from the breadsticks. Also the family style pizza represents a significantly greater amount of pizza for a slightly higher price and clearly seems like the best value. I like ordering more than I know I will eat for dinner and having leftovers for lunch the next couple of days. From my experience the pizza still tastes good in lunches for two days after baking (after it starts to get dried out and hard). read more

Service couldn't have been worse. Ordered on-line with pizza to be picked up at 5:45. Arrived at said time and waited and waited at the on-line pick up counter. They kept making pizzas and calling names for pick up. No one ever asked what my name was or even if I had ordered on-line. Then I realized that the last two orders made were for people that had come in long after I had and actually placed their order at the counter and were leaving with their pizzas. At this time I have waited 30 minutes. I managed to get a credit with some odd explanation of they can't really credit for what I bought so they have to make something up to equal that amount and he stamped my card twice.
