I don't know how long he works alone for, but he is always pleasant and professional. No clue why this place has such low reviews. Our pizza came out absolutely perfect and it was the best garlic twists I ever had in years. We eat a lot of roundtable down here in Mendocino county and none of them touched this location. Staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome, which is a rarity now days. The people/ service were very nice, that is why I'm giving it 2 stars. But, holy smokes, the Gluten-free gourmet vegetarian pizza was a disappointment. It was very, very dry and tasteless. I could not detect any sauce on it at all. The crust was so dry. After tasting it when i got home, I added my own cheese and dipped it in marinara to try and salvage the meal- but it just wasn't palatable. I let it sit out as an offering for anyone else who might want to eat it and no takers. I ended up throwing it away. I was so hungry and excited to try this! This experience made me sad. read more

Went in with my friend and none of us had been here in a few years. Their service was absolutely terrible! I went in with my friend her husband and their daughter for the first time in a little over two years for myself and my friend and about four years for her husband as he's been in the military. We ordered their lunch special which we assumed that it included the pizzas that were set out, a salad and a drink as it once did. Nobody clarified it's not like that anymore, and the lunch special comes with a ordered personal pizza also, like i stated we hadn't been here in some years, the man at the check stand was so outrageously rude to her husband when he notice he was grabbing from the pizzas set out, and when we apologized for not knowing the buffet wasn't included and offered to pay for the stuff on his plate as we had already touched it, the worker proceeded to call her husband a liar, and say that he sees actors in here all day insinuating that we were trying to steal the food even though her husband was in the process of paying (card in machine) for the items. My friends husband explained we haven't lived in the area for quite a while and haven't had there lunch special since high school to which this man was extremely condescending and dismissive. I understand people trying to scam them out of free food but this was nowhere near the case, I will not be returning to this establishment, and honestly I'm sorry if you do because these people were absolutely terrible and rude even despite us trying to rectify the situation. He saw we were clearly confused and haven't been there looking around and offered no assistance or clarification and information on the menu items or anything. He then proceeded to talk about us trying to scam them with his coworkers and glare at us the whole time. Ordered delivery tonight. I paid $50 for an x-large half Hawaiian with jalapenos and tomato and the other half wombo combo. What we got was a combination hodge podge of those two (which would've been fine btw) but they managed to put that sweet polynesian sauce that they use for the Maui Zowie! Ugh...$50 wasted!!! Gonna call tomorrow and see if they can refund us. I've still got the pizza so they can take it back if they want. Hopefully we'll be able to get it right with the next one! So disappointing! We had an extremely unpleasant time here last week. First, the pizza was decent. No complaints there. But this place is filthy. The carpet is deeply stained and smelly. There's no sanitizer supplies available. The place is also very dark and dingy. They seem understaffed. It took literally 8-10 minutes to even place the order, as no one seemed to be staffing the front counter. One of the servers wore stained, threadbare black pants with huge ragged holes and his behind showing. His giant, unkempt beard dangled over the pizzas on their way to the table. I've always been a fan of Round Table Pizza. Despite the food being a little pricey, you can always find a coupon online somewhere and get a decent discount. I ordered from here two nights ago and ordered a Montague's All Meat Marvel and some Garlic Twists. While the flavor was all there and they were quick to make the order, the food quality was a little off from what I've grown to know over the last few decades. The pizza crust was nearly non existent. Like it was an UBER thin crust despite never ordering thin crust. Made it difficult because the pizza was floppy. The other thing was my garlic twists were almost raw in the middle. They were wrapped in foil and super soft and mushy. I've always been used to a nice crisp outside and a soft garlicky middle. So again- the flavor was all there but feel like it may have been taken out of the oven too soon. The establishment was clean and looked welcoming. There were 4 guys working there and they all seemed very happy - polite and joking around. I'll come back again because I have a soft spot for Round Table. I was calling in an order for pick up. Almost 30 mins on hold. I arrived and the place was completely empty. As far as I am concerned as many people on staff I saw. I would say, my pizza should have been free 10% does nothing. I wouldn't recommend going hear at all. This location is dirty and disorganized. I ordered online and when I went to pick up at the time I was given, the order had not even been put in yet. No apparent manager or host at the front. Every empty table in the restaurant was piled with dirty dishes with customers still seated. The floors are disgusting in the dining area and kitchen. This was not just a days worth of dirt. The salad bar looked like the bottom of a dumpster. Everything is dusty and all the windows and glass smeared with filth. I had to wait an hour for a burnt pizza. I typically never return to places that are unsanitary and have been known to just walk out. Contacted an area manager who offered a VIP voucher. Never got it. read more

This location has never made my order correctly. Once, I ordered a pepperoni and pineapple pizza and they forgot the pineapple. Most recently I ordered a pepperoni and pineapple, with jalapeños on only half the pizza. They delivered the pizza with half pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeños, the other half only had pineapple. Honestly, I am so over their incompetence I'll just stick to Babes or making my own pizza at home. I ordered my pizza online at 4:48. I arrived at 5:15 even though the online invoice said it would be ready by 5:08. After paying they began looking for my order. The first person said, "Sorry, we are just really busy." They only had one dine in customer but were busy making pizza. The manager came over to me to find out which pizza order was mine so they could make it. It was disappointing that I ordered online yet they didn't even start assembling my pizza until after I arrived. The manager said sorry and that they have a new system. That is the 2nd excuse for bad service. Once I received my pizza I clarified with someone that my pizza wasn't even being assembled until 25 minutes after it was ordered. Went this weekend with the family (Friday actually) and saw they had board games out so we could play while we waited. We got a Maui Zaui pizza and I got a salad bar. The salad bar was great, everything was fresh and delicious. Before I ate, I went to the bathroom to wash up. The bathroom was pretty clean, and smelled completely different than last time, which smelled like an outhouse and was filthy. I did notice the bathroom had one of those glade spray cans in it, so that's good. I got back and started eating my salad, and bam, the pizza was already done and at the table. Pizza was delicious. We also got parmasian bread sticks and they were equally fantastic. All in all, I would give it an A. read more

Alright, I'm trying to be as nice as I can. The gentleman that helped me at the end was the only one who actually cared about my pizza. I stopped by to pick up my carry out pizza and I was told it wasn't ready. I waited an additional 20 minutes (for a total of 45 minutes) for the pizza that was supposed to be ready for pickup. The guy behind me was also waiting for pickup, and he had to wait the 20 minutes I did PLUS an additional 7 minutes for his breadsticks. It isn't a coincidence that this Round Table has such a low star. As part of the customer service industry, one should know that there are only two reasons why people leave posts: 1) When they're highly impressed; or, 2)When they're highly disappointed. Come on, team. We can definitely do better than that. read more

Well what can I say. I love the sauce on a round table pizza. But Round Table was not my first choice of the night. I called two local spots they were closed for the holiday weekend. I went to the internet to place my online order with a national chain, which honestly I love because,well; you don't have to talk to anyone. I don't know about most people but I usually order pizza on nights I am working on projects or just am too damn tired to cook. Well lets set the scene for the night of WTF did I just witness. I placed my order and I immediately get a call. Saying we are super busy ( I placed my order at 8:00 ) And if I get delivery my pizza will not be able to be delivered until after 10. I say well that makes sense it is the holidays. Would it be easier if I just come pick it up? He says yes and that my order will be done in 35 ish minutes if I pick up myself. I tell him deal. I wait 40 minutes until I actually head across to Henderson Center from Myrtletown. There is no way to really describe to you the shock of the scene as you walk in. There is a line. four ish people deep. Once set of folks waited at a table. EVERY and I mean EVERY table is stacked with dirty dishes. And as your eyes start to focus, everything is filthy. The salad bar looks like it was bombed. Even the front counter is stacked with dirty dishes. There is a nice family, they look like they are visiting probably picked round table due to its national recognition. They are flabbergasted at the sight also but they are in the same boat as the lot of us. Its late, we already committed and feel stuck to endure the option we chose. There is another man that heads up to pay. He only ordered wings and Parmesan twist over an hour and a half ago. STILL not done. The man working and ringing up the customers looks like he has been handed a bag of shit and he is just about to loose his mind. Everyone is yelling at this poor dude. Everyone is unhappy. He keeps saying I am doing my best. We are under staffed and really busy. I have not had a break and it repeats over and over to every angry patron. Yet they keep answering the phone, they keep taking orders and they can not even keep up with the orders they do have. As the cashier rings up the nice family , which chose to get take out in lieu of dine in due to every table being gross he tells them 20 min wait. The guy waiting for the last hour and a half smirks and says well that is a lie! And holy smokes an order is up! This young girl walks up with boxes in hand. And the two guys sitting at the table near the cashier stand grab up their order and walk out saying " Good luck everyone" Everyone is frazzled. The patrons and the staff. Apparently the night before was equally awful according to one staffer. As I am scanning the room, I just want to hug the staff, grab a busing cart and help. But I am a paying customer. I am tired from my own work day. And it was disgraceful that the owner / franchise manager how ever this monster is ran wasn't there to take the heat off of his or her staff. It was a hostile work environment. The staff you could tell were barely maintaining sanity. Which is why you could tell the patrons were not ripping into them as much as you could tell they wanted too. It was shameful. I have never ever seen anything like it in a business. I have seen neglect. I have had shitty customer service. But this experience was a whole other animal. People were walking in behind us and immediately canceling orders. This will be my last time ordering from Round Table. There is no second chances after that aftermath. I should of cooked spaghetti after my two local faves were closed. And someone from corporate should give those staffers that worked on the 2nd and 3rd of July a medal or a raise just for enduring such terrible conditions with a reasonably decent attitude. And someone should ream the owner/manager a new one for putting them in that position. As a business owner myself I would be there in the trenches taking the heat and helping support my staff. Their management is awful. The pizza is fairly consistent (if you can get them to actually make them get the pizza to you) but I feel so bad for the staff. It's like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Everybody is trying to do their best but you can tell there's just not enough people and they lack teamwork or proper management. It's a revolving door of people who work there. I've been coming here since my college days over 5 years and it's been the same this whole time. Do not have your pizza delivered if you want it even slightly warm or within a few hours. They just don't have enough people for that. Plus I've ordered and gotten the complete wrong pizza, they remade it, into a whole different wrong pizza even though the notes were correct (a large cheese pizza.... that was what I tried to order). Took 2.5 hours but when they finally nailed it they gave me a crazy amount of discounts and coupons. All in all I love Roundtable and I will never stop going but this particular location needs some help. It's nobodies fault but they just need more people and more training. I do have something to say to all the rude people who come here and yell at the people at the counter: knock it off. It's not their fault they have 3 people and there should be 6. It's not their fault that the other guy accidentally forgot your water cup. And it's not their fault it's taking forever because the person ahead of you ordered 5 pizzas. I don't know what "Rich" was complaining about, but judging by his review, I could see why he has no friends. I've gone to Roundtable over 50 times this year alone and I've always had a pleasant experience. Sure, they get busy pretty often, but it's the best pizza place in Eureka, what do you expect? The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is always friendly, even though some customers are too rude and entitled to realize that they're just doing their jobs. Round Table makes long distance eordering easy. Order online, then call the location to offer a name to deliver to. I had a nightmare w/Dominos trying to send a thank you pizza. The people that work here are flipping terrible! I live close by so I made a point to look past the rude treatment every time I go in from who I believe is the manager(the large Hispanic man). However, I am officially done looking past their crap. To start they are very inconsistent with cooking a pizza or breadsticks and the manager is a miserable jerk who should not be working In the customer service industry. The last thing they had to do which truly clarified why I will NEVER be going back there again, is I made an online order and they were out of the liter of soda I ordered so instead of trying to help me by refunding me for the $3.00 soda, they canceled my order and hung up on me. I don't generally spend much time in chain pizza places, nor do I spend much time reviewing them. It is a very l-o-n-g drive from where we live to Eureka. When we finally finally arrived we decided we were too hungry to go exploring, so we tried this Round Table. We tried the salad bar and had a pizza. Some reviewers mentioned wilted lettuce. It didn't happen when we were there. If fact, the salad bar was well stocked and in good order. The pizza wasn't something you'd write home about but it was good and flavorful and we didn't have to wait very long for it. We went here on a Monday afternoon/early evening, probably a little after five. If you like to eat pizza without being in a crowd, this is the place for you! It wasn't the normal dinner time yet, so there were only four groups here at the time. One of the groups was in the party area, which is surrounded by a four foot wall, and there were about ten people having a birthday party for a little girl when we finished our dinner and left. It was an unexpectedly quiet, relaxing and pleasant time in a place you wouldn't have expected it. read more

Ordered a 55$ meal(2 pizzas ). Was told 1 hour for delivery. After 1 hour 12 min I called to see how long. I was told that they just left, It may be up to a hour.?? Yes. Another hour? I live 3 minutes away..(trying to not drag my 5yr old out in the rain) Also, they don't do coupons so it's not like you get any deal unless you sign up for email spam. This place is a joke. I ordered a large pizza and they said it would be an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. I placed my order at 6:18 and after two hours I called to check on my order and they said it was out for delivery. They apologized and said they were busy. I told them I get it. When the two and a half hour mark arrived, I called again to be told it never left and that they were going to remake it and send it out and it was going to be another 30 to 40 minutes.
