    I am writing an updated review for a review I left this week. The manager after seeing my review…read morehas communicated very well with me to address my issues with items I purchased. Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order.     Autozone Monocacy blvd Frederick MD If I could give zero…read morestars I would. My daughter came in looking for assistance with her car as it was giving her troubles. My daughter was in emotional distress when she entered. When she first contacted me about her car trouble, I advised her to go to Autozone because I had never had an issue gaining assistance before. My daughter was on FaceTime with my other daughter & me. She was treated disrespectfully & rudely by the two staff members working. While my daughter stood at the counter they openly & flagrantly mocked her & her situation. I know she spoke unkindly in retaliation to their actions before exiting. She proceeded to have another panic attack while in her car. After we got her to calm down a bit, she looked up & observed the staff continuing to mock her. The actions of the staff is unbelievable. My other daughter tried to call to get the names of the staff working & was also tried rudely & unprofessional (she also responded in kind). The male staff member refused to legibly provide his name so that we may reference him correctly when speaking with a manager in the following morning. I am very disappointed in the lack of care &b professionalism provided this evening to both my daughters, both in person & over the phone. I will be in contact with the manager in the morning to discuss the actions of this evening.

When she got there she informed the male employee that she was scared to turn the car off because she didn't know if it would start again, his response was "No the care needs to be off" she explained why she couldn't turn the car off and explained there is a new battery and new starter in the car and didn't know why it wasn't starting. he said "we need the car to be off, if you can't turn the car off we can't help". she stated she was afraid to take the car home he said condescendingly said "you should of taken it home" and then stated "this isn't a mechanic shop" she said she brought it there because the mechanic shops were closed and needed temporary help. she explained why she needed help explaining the situation and he states "they decline to help any further". So she stepped away to get an opinion from my mom and I who were on the phone during the entire interaction!!!!!!!! she said "is this an f-ing joke" to which the male employee mocked her to the female employee stating "is this an f-ing joke" while my sister was standing there and my mother and I are listening. she then left the store to which they continued mocking her as she tried to calm down in her car and figure out her next moves. I then called to get the names of the employees who had interacted with my sister and the male answered said a name I couldn't understand and then spelled it. To which I couldn't understand when I asked if he could repeat himself he stated no he didn't have to because he already gave me the information, I said I didn't understand he basically didn't care to give me the information again he was rude and had an attitude throughout the entire interaction and refused any further assistance. So I called him a B***** and hung up. (ALL I KNOW IS THE NAME STARTS WITH A J) THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SET OF INDIVIDUALS THAT LACK ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE BETTER THAN THE CUSTOMER WHO CAME IN DISTRESSED ABOUT HER MODE OF TRANSPORTATION THAT HELPS HER MAINTAIN HER LIVELIHOOD. your employees made a customer feel as if they were not worthy of getting any help were rude when asked who they were.

    Bought a car battery here on Monday 2/9/26 and installed it the same day. Car still had issues…read morestarting so I spent additional time and money on diagnosing the issue and ultimately had to take the car to the mechanic. $200 later my mechanic tells me the "new" battery I installed was in fact over 3 years old and was completely worthless. Took it back to this same store I bought it from and was treated extremely poorly. Staff questioned if I had really bought this battery at this store this week. They then tested the battery and agreed it was dead and I would get a refund. However, for no reason, staff began to question what kind of car I had and insisted this battery wasn't acceptable for my car. My mechanic installed the exact same model NAPA battery in the car that I drove to the store. They mentioned that - if the battery was new but wasn't compatible with my car - that it wouldn't have been covered under warranty. I explained that I knew this but that isn't what happened, they sold me an old battery and that old battery does not hold a charge and wouldn't have worked in ANY car. She raised her voice to talk over me and explain how I was still wrong. I got my refund but I am livid at my treatment here. A quick google search shows that a car battery shouldn't be sold even just 6-9 months after manufacture so they had no business selling me a battery that was made in 2022 in the first place. I went an entire week without my car, had to rely on rides from my friends and Uber, spent money on diagnostic tools to fix my car myself, and ultimately paid someone else to diagnose and replace the battery that I had already "fixed". What a waste.

The lady i spoke to on the phone said they had 4. I went to the yard, i walked up and down the Dodge/Chrysler section and only seen 1 dodge magnum matching mines. So i walked to the entrance of the yard to ask the lady at the desk if she could tell me the exact location of the other 3 Dodge Magnums. She said she couldnt, that i had to look online myself. I said i did. But i couldnt find them. She called some other short blonde big lady to deal with me. That lady came from the front door with another customer. The lady behind the register told her my question and the big lady said: where is your phone? I said in my pocket. First off, that is not the way to talk to a customer like she knew me. Second, she dont know if people are up to date with mobile devices, she shouldnt assume. That is not the way to talk or treat any of your customers. I simply asked her for the location of the other 3 magnums and she kept saying i need to look on the website. I told her i did and that it dont match the yard. So we both got heated and she told me to leave. I drove 40mins to the yard because they told me they had 4 magnums, i paid my entrance for nothing. I got kicked out for asking a simple question: where are the other 3 magnums you told me you have?
